The demon would consider the pale man with a thoughtful expression as he took in the words being said. His insane grin surprisingly in check for the time being as his eyes narrowed. “You seem like a being with an interesting mind. We would like to further engage with you; however, purrhaps we can do this at a different time. When we don’t have such distractions before us. Consider it, yes?” the demon would say before turning his attention back to the creature of the sea before them. He would keep an ear out for conversation, but kind of got distracted by the tail coming his way at such a speed he could not dodge.
He would lift his arms to protect his face, the blow pushing him back a bit as it left a stinging sensation on his arms. However, he wasn’t complaining with the pain as he chuckled and lowered his arms. “Hehe. It is quicker than we thought,” he would say amused and then hearing the little one's comment on fun, he would continue. “Aww, but I like hogging spot light. Though I suppose I can share it with something as cute as you. I think the ratings may go up with you there,” he would say with a light chuckle. Insane babbling or making a situation light was debatable for sure. Either way, the demon wasn’t about to set the record straight as the pale man cast a spell on him and gave him more power. His grin would become shark like as his eyes seem to glow with excitment despite the dark pools they were. “Again? Let us try then.” He would move once more to touch the ground seeming all too happy to comply with such a suggestion....

''Whatever gets you off. Just don't get too excited. Headaches aren't my favorites.'' What did this guy want with him anyway? Well, as long as he was safe it probably did not matter as much, but it didn't seem like he could be sure about that completely. Getting messed with wasn't a favorite past time of his either, unless the person wanted to get bitten somehow. He could make use of his teeth that way too alright. His odd colored eyes would narrow slightly at the exchange that occured afterwards. ''I don't think there's anyone to watch us to begin with. What's the point of taking spotlight?'' He'd consider it more important for them to get through this than to try being impressive somehow. There wasn't really anybody to be impressed.
The icy flames that enfulged him did sting a little bit, but he didn't feel too bothered by it right now. Though it did suck that it had more ways of harming them, making it more unpredictable. Tilting his head at the giant raptor, he would take a defensive stance for the moment.

This means that the man can naturally sense the current emotional states of the person/people that are around him, giving him the ability to understand them on a basic level, and be able to pick his own responses towards them more easily. (In combat, this ability allows Onyx to negotiate with enemies up to 5 levels higher than him, due to being able to be on the same wavelength as them by base)

Relieved that the icicles actually hit this time around, whether that was what Denki was actually trying to do or not, made Kuzi feel a little better about the situation at hand. It was still very odd to him how all of this started, and also how everyone else he had seen helping fight these things seemed to attack using abilities they manifested themselves? Was he the only one who got some kind of companion to help? Where did these powers even come from, why did they exist?
It was all very confusing, though the pink fluffs ears would perk up suddenly distracting him from his thought as he heard the inky fellow call him cute. "Eheheh." He'd laugh nervously at first, he wasn't sure how comfortable he was with someone as sinister looking as they did calling him that, though hopefully it meant that they wouldn't like. Ya know, try to kill him or anything. "Thanks, I get that quite a lot. Suppose its one of the few advantages of being small and vibrantly pink furred, cause aside from that being small is sorta a hindrance. Though, uhm. Wait, what rating? Are we being filmed? Is this like a big TV show prank? Are you just saying things that leads my mind to think of possibilities that this isn't real and are just going to tell me that all hopes and dreams are dead again in a few moments when I finally stop this sentence that I really don't want to stop cause I know you will tell me the bad things?"
Shaking her head and deciding to not bother to wait for the small creature to pay attention to the real matter at hand. Denki tried her hardest to ignore him and concentrate on taking this vial creature down.

The demon would chuckle lightly at the words he heard as his gave the other a grin. “Not much of person for too much are you, poppet?” the creature would purr his energy remaining the same as before within the battle. As for what the creature actually wanted with the other, well it was hard to say. All that could be said was that he was interested in the man though whether that was good or bad was a mystery to say the least.
That aside, the demon’s attention would turn somewhat towards the pink fluff ball with them, his words seeming to set off a chain of comments, questions, and rambles both from the pale guy and the pink fluff. Though the pink one by far talked more than the other. Despite being slapped with a gazillion things at once the demon would take it all in and process it as his grin faltered slightly as he thought for a bit and then figuring out what to do it would return as he opened his mouth to speak. He would start with the pale man.
“The audience is always around. Sometimes it is people and sometimes it is the gods themselves. Tonight we play to amuse the gods. As for spotlights, well as a seasoned performer I quite enjoy it; however, I know when it’s not just about us. After all, this show would crash pretty badly if it was just one person performing no?” Perhaps it was his own way of saying team work was a good thing in the face of danger. Or maybe he was rambling. It was often hard to say and as usual the demon would set nothing straight as he shifted his focus slight to the pink fluff taking note how the words he had spoken seem to give him some hope or perhaps make the creature proud. Whatever the case was, he would respond easily enough to what had been said.
“Hehe. There are no cameras here. This stage is quite real though and so is our lovely villain. The ratings are in the gods hands. Purrhaps they will favor us because cute things have the tendency to melt hearts. Though…” the demon would pause as he saw the strange creature blow icy flames at Onyx and hit. He'd blink a bit his smile gone. He didn't seem to approve of that much for some reason. Huh. “Hmmm...purrhaps some are too focused on business to have their hearts melted. Neh, you will live for a while longer yes?” the demon would ask the pale man before blinking a bit as the small creature with the fluff ball attacked on its own and struck home. Karama. A bitch ain’t it? Anywho a test on this creature was needed. So then. He flicked his tail as claws extended through his gloves before the demon moved forward to try to attack the beast directly.

Onyx would give Mr. Inky a passing glance at the question. He had to wonder whether the guy was trying to get a raise out of him or something. ‘’If you were me, you’d understand what I mean.’’ He just didn’t like the overload at times, especially when people were taking certain emotions to the extreme or flipping about too much. So yes, in a way he could be seen as a person that wasn’t for too much at times. It depended on the circumstances, as he didn’t hate company in itself.
He would narrow his eyes a bit as he processed all the rambles and whatnot happening. ‘’I wouldn’t say I really believe in gods. They are of no meaning to me. Even if higher power does exist in some form, it’s hardly fair towards people. They should play with each other instead.’’ Gods were such a lame concept. Yes, there could be beings which held a lot of power..enough to perhaps be called gods of a sort, but what was the point of a god that does jack squat for you unless it benefits them somehow? Might as well go die in a hole instead. ‘’I’d say he’s just enjoying himself a bit too much in this situation. If this were a TV show, I doubt people all around would be panicking about it.’’ This is not how you make a movie, honestly. ‘’I have my ways.’’, he would respond calmly when he was asked about his state of being. As long as the thing didn’t find a way to attack even harder than it had so far, he’d take the gander that he ought to be fine. Based on how much the previous hits hurt at least…

"Well. If these gods were watching and were having their hearts melted by me, I'd of hoped they'd do whatever it is gods can do to try to get me out of this peril, but nooooo, they just want to gawk at us being hit in the face by a--- TAIL!" Not as prepared as the first time due to his rambling, Kuzi would be knocked off his paws and roll a few times before shaking his head off and getting back up dizzily. It wasn't that it was more painful than the first time, he just wasn't ready for it this time.
"Ya know, Denki..." Kuzi would begin slowly as he orientated himself again and looked up at the giant terrifying beast once more. "I feel pretty empowered right now, like whatever that horn guy is doing, it feels pretty good, right? Then. Uh... Why do you icicles keep bouncing off of it? Is it like immune to ice or something or are you just a lot weaker than the powers everyone else has? And, uh, why are you a creature outside of me fighting when everyone else can use powers themselves? How did that happen and..." This seemingly endless rant would continue on and on, droning into the back of Denki's head as she twitched slightly from trying to keep herself concentrated and to put simply, not pissed off. But as Kuzi just kept on and on at her, she eventually cracked and didn't care anymore.
"Would you shut up!"
Denki would suddenly burst out in rage, her body being enveloped entirely by the green aura that surrounded her, changing her coloration entirely and seemingly leaving her original blue colour as the new aura circling around her. A burning red anger rested in her eyes, though as much as she knew she just let the infection get to her, for now she was still mostly in control and just hoped the display shut Kuzi up. Which granted it had done as he sat shell shocked on the ground after falling backwards from the sudden energy blast.

“Purrhaps,” the demon would say taking note of the other’s action, but not really seeming phased by it as his grin remained in place. As far as what the demon was doing, well it was hard to say. Perhaps he was looking for a rise or maybe this odd behavior was simply how he communicated not bothering to bow to rules that would make him easier to understand or even comfortable to be around. Maybe what he was showing was exactly what one got and that was that. Whatever the case was, the demon would let things be as they were as the conversation slipped to audiences and gods.
The demon would take in everything said and respond accordingly. "The world and the gods are never fair. For you see, if everything was fair, the we could never grow from our pain and suffering. Never learn. We’d just be," the demon would become expressionless as he drew a line in the air like a flat line on EKG monitor. “Kaput,” he would grin again. “And we can’t have that now can we?” he would say before focusing on the enemy again. “Though we are curious. If you don’t believe in gods then what do you believe in?” It was a curiosity indeed, though whether the other would humor him further was another matter entirely.
Letting that go where it would go, the demon would chuckle at the little one’s comment. “The gods don’t play by our desires only by what please them in the end little one. Best not complain or they may turn Lady Luck against us...and we do not want that.” Not again please. He had enough hell for one night. He would like to just simply enjoy things and...There is roaring that hurts the ears….and a tail is coming at us. Oh…
The demon would turn away slightly as he raised his arm to protect his face as the repitilian tail whacked them. The blow stinging once more and causing him chuckle in delight at the pain around the time the comment about him having too much fun came about; however, he did not care for it wasn’t a lie. He was enjoying the pain and giving the pain. Though it would seem that one here wasn’t enjoying the show at all.
The demon would blink as his grin faded and his eyes turned to the small one. He was rambling as usual and apparently the creature that was with him had just had enough. Her anger was real enough and could even be felt by the demon who wasn’t even as close to the creature as the little one. He would take interest in this as the creature took over the situation as she changed and seemed to change her abilities too. Now she was using wind? How interesting and look she even struck home. Huh? So did she just protected the little one or what? That curiosity aside, the demon would come back to attention as he heard the pale man’s words. He wanted to wrap the fun up? Well he didn’t exactly want to, but...this wasn’t his show now was it?
“As you wish.” the demon would say with a bow to the pale man, but as he rose again his form would shift the demon body becoming pure black and ink like as his eyes became white and seemed to glow.
While he was by no means trying to harm the other, his aggression and lust for blood did rise even more as he gave the guy a fangy grin before turning his attention back to the enemy. Raising a hand to the air he would draw the form of a boulder in the air. A boulder that would materialize right above the creature’s head and attempt to drop down on it.

‘’Anyone can die in various ways anyway. You can’t really say that when a fox kills a rabbit for its dinner that it was orchestrated by the gods to try and help the rabbit learn and grow. Besides, if we do get unlucky and die from something like this, the whole point you’re trying to illustrate becomes moot. A dead person can’t learn anymore.’’ No, not everything needed to be completely fair. That was impossible to achieve even. Nevertheless, what is the point of causing suffering that can just flat out kill the ones involved? Nobody learns shit from that. Only thing that happens is that possibly innocent beings lose their lives for naught. Black and white eyes would flicker to glance at the guy. ‘’I’d be more inclined to believe in our own individuality and even science over thinking that our lives only exist for the entertainment of these gods you speak of. Even we can choose to cause pain and suffering in the world, thus it isn’t even necessary to have some imaginary gods do it for us.’’ In the end…whoever was the cause of it..did it matter? Well, finding out who it was would be progress indeed. On the other hand…did Onyx care whether it was a god or just a being who somehow acquired a lot of power? No, not really. The outcome would be the same one way or another. They’d try to oppose this creature because they wanted to be able to stay alive. That’s what almost all life forms possess. A will to live.
‘’I think…you might have to learn to tone it down…’’ He personally didn’t get distracted by just rambles too easily, but it seemed that at least somebody here was getting pissed about the pink fluff’s constant talking. How odd. That creature came from the fluff, yes? So why were they in such disagreements with each other? Hm. Well, sadly he had no idea how it worked, and the dino was still there and being a rather large distraction. Although it seemed to be wearing down with ow it went on its knees after these few blows.

Startled by the sudden uproar of his persona, Kuzi had stumbled backwards a few steps and fell into a seated position starting with mild fear in his eyes towards his infected persona.
