Jackie entered the Cipher Cafe, keeping a blank expression on his face, and his arms crossed. Right. He was there on official business, and he refused to come off as a wimp. Even if it meant he had to dial up the 'Robotic-ness' a bit. He gave a gentle sigh, eyes giving the place a good once-over, making sure to take everything in. He adjusted his glasses, and walked further inside. Now he just needed to figure out where to start...

It was a busier part of the day for the Cafe. Afternoons were the time of day when most people were out of school and sometimes out of work. But by coincidence there aren't much people around this time. Maybe schedules were clashing with their free time on the computer. But that didn't mean David Daus was free from work as he meandered around checking on the current status of his computers at an area further inside the cafe. After poking his head above a desk, he noticed someone arrived.

Jackie remained stoic. He was there on official business, after all. "I'm Jackie, performing an investigation for The Cadets." He greeted, simply. "I've been sent to look into an application appearing on cell phones, and collect what information I can." He stated. Right now, he just needed a lead. The fact there weren't too many people there was a bit worrying, but hopefully there was SOME information to be gathered.

He seemed amused by what Jackie asked for. But he finally nodded before crossing his arms against his chest. David knew what the Cadet was talking about. "Alright, I know a little. So you want to know what these apps are, right? They're practically invitations to a hidden site run by a group. It's hard to reach it when you're not invited. It takes a bit of technical know-how to get to it, you see."

Jackie didn't give a visible reaction. That...sounded a bit suspicious still. He knew he'd be more worried if someone installed an app without him knowing. He blinked behind his sunglasses. "Mind letting me take a look quickly?" He asked. Now that he knew what the app actually was, he was curious about the 'website'. Besides, at least this way he could make a full report.

"The website? Nah, you need to have the app. Like I said, it's an invitation. You need it to get in. But forcing yourself in takes a whole lot of effort. And that's something I don't want to do since they could probably backtrack towards me. I don't want that, sorry. Anything else you want to ask about?"

Jackie thought about it for a second. "...Alright then. Thank you for your cooperation. Before I go, do you at least know anyone who got the app?" All things considered, if it was an 'invitation' it likely wasn't random. That was just Jackie's take on it though. Still, he had found out what the app was at least. That just left getting info about the website...or at least, a new lead.

"Going so soon? Alright. Well, you could try asking anyone. But chances are, they probably won't be as inclined to show you. I'd be careful when poking around. I heard the site is a considerable network of anonymous members. So you have no idea who might have accepted the invitation. Could be anyone close. Keep an eye out there, buddy."

"I see." Damn. That was a pain. At least he had found out a few things about the app, in the end. And that WAS the point of the investigation. Didn't take too long either, all things considered. "...thank you for your cooperation." Jackie finally nodded. Time to give the report...maybe someone else could figure out what the website was from there. With a nod, Jackie turned and left.
