| There was a serious event that was happening tonight for Gabe, he didn't know how unpredictable things could be or how uncontrolled everything could turn out if he made one false move. Due to this, he decided to head off to the dojo one last time before nightfall, getting a little bit of a workout done and maybe learning something new that could perhaps save his life when he truly needed. Arriving at the Dungeon. Gabe looked a little tense as he prepared himself in the corner of the room for the lesson.
"I'm ready for my next lesson. "

| The morning was less of a hectic time as rarely most people came in that period. It was the only opportune time for Ree to practice on her own. In her hand was a smoothly carved wooden blade. The majority of its length whizzed through the air with each swing and brandish. A wooden dummy about as tall as a couple inches above her height was being assaulted by her. But within the few seconds of her attacks, she stopped and so did the sound of repetitive and continuous impact.
Ree noticed someone was here.
"Hm? Oh, it's you. Good to see you here. You mean 'first' lesson. First, pick up that bokken on the wall, a wooden sword. I'll show you how to use it."
She pointed at a wall display of the wooden training implement and waited for him to complete the simple task.

| Gabe observed for a while, looking at Ree's movements and figured that this was a person with some amazing focus to be hitting the practice dummy. It seemed fitting that a person as skilled as her was teaching Gabe.
"wasn't expecting me for a whole or something? I follow a tight schedule, but i make time for the important things. "
Gabe would say as he went over to the side of the wall and picked up the bokken. There was no need to be so uptight, he might die. If that was the case, what was the point of having a stick up his ass if he was to risk it all to free the city. Might as well make it count and pick up something new along the way.
"from the way that you swung that sword, it kind of made me shudder at the thought of a person actually getting hit by you."

| "Most people don't usually come in mornings. That's when people go to work or school, the more hectic side of life. So I don't expect much people to come," Ree admitted with an apologetic smile. As she said, not many people come at this time of day. Only the more dedicated members have a tendency to come in and sometimes in the rest of the day. "It comes with practice. Years of it. I'm sure you'll get there at some point. Now, grip your sword. But curl your wrists in as you do it, it helps to maneuver and ensure a reliable hit. Now do your best to follow my stance, left leg back and right forward. Hold up your left heel a bit."She began to watch and helped make some adjustments. Ree wasn't remarkably shy in getting close with the opposite sex. There were tons of newcomers of his age and she wouldn't be much of a teacher if she was afraid of them, right? "Now try to strike the head on the dummy... like this!"She swung to demonstrate, but after the previous beatings, the head broke off from the sheer impact before flying off ahead with a thump on the wooden floor. Ree hissed through her teeth and apologized to Gabe before running off to the side for another dummy. There would be enough time for the Psyche-Terrorist to begin reconsidering if this lesson was for him. After all, no one wanted to lose a head, right? Ree continued to teach him how to swing at various parts of the body and various slashes. But after teaching him the last few basic attacks, she twirled the wooden blade in her hand and swung to the side. "You learned the basics, but you need practice. Do you want to spar? It'll at least help get you a little more acclimated."QAS EVENT: INITIATED!

| "I guess it's a blessing that most of my work circles around the evening and night then. I have a bit more time to catch the early classes for extra attention. Growth is a fickle thing, like planting, if not cultivated properly, the harvest can't be as good as we want it to be. " With Gabe making his usual comparisons, he would put his stuff down and stretch his arms a bit before getting a sword of his own. " Alright, so Wrists in, left leg back and right forward." He repeated these steps as he took a similar stance to what Ree was doing. It still wasn't perfect, but it was a lot better than before.
However, seeing her strike the dummy was something that made his eyes widen a bit. Just how hard was her swing? Should she really be capable of decapitating someone with a wooden sword? That was a scary thought, a bit intense. However, this was exactly why Gabe thought that Ree was serious enough with her training. "A spar? Sure, i'm up to the task."

| A gentle smirk spread on her features as he accepted. Ree was pleased by this outcome Knowing that Gabriel was still more or less a beginner, she wasn't going to be that nurturing during the training. Challenge and toughness is what made people stronger. The woman took a rather neutral stance with both hands on the blade, but it was pointed towards the floor. Her feet were remarkably relaxed despite being in stance. She watched every bit of Gabriel in order to intercept his movements. "We begin and stop when I say so. Now... Hajime!"
It was a bark-like order, changing the atmosphere around them. It was training and hence it was serious. She waited for him to come to her and show her what he was made of.

| "Oh, so it look's like my option of surrender has been taken from me this time around. " Gabe would state this as he place himself in the position that Rei was showing him, attempting his best to coordinate the developments of a legitimate position as he held the wooden sword with a firm hold. He may not be as talented, however Gabe was better than average with his hands. His feet was a width separated, whit his foot marginally forward. Since Ree chose to be on edge, Gabe dashed forward with a descending strike towards Ree, intending to hit her accords the chest with a more unmistakable demonstration of giving her the earnestness of his strikes that she was expecting of him.Gabe didn't want to disappoint, so hopefully he wouldn't fail too much. strength - Spoiler:
—Strength Name: Dexterous Rate —Description: Gabe's contains a high level of adroitness involving his hands.

| The Swordswoman saw the attack coming. His every movement created a kind of "tell" for her to read his intentions. It was a basic strike, but it was expected of a newcomer. Ree simply slid backwards to avoid his slash. The breeze of the attack swept across and in front of her, narrowly dodging it. Her face seemed reserved and calm, but also observing him. She simply continued to hold onto her relaxed stance and watch him try again. "Go on, keep going." | |

| Even with the dodge, Gabe still kept up with his footwork, twirling the sword to the side in order to bump Ree with the hilt of the wooden sword in order to knock her off balance. After that, Gabe would follow up with a strong swipe towards the midsection. Even though Gabe probably didn't show it, he got used to conflicts with other people at a quick pace. Everything in life was essentially a battle, and the actual ones matter if you were about to lose everything at a single moment. Gabe approached life like that all the same, which is why he didn't bother trying to pull his punches with someone that was better than him at this. "Maybe it's just me, but was something on your mind earlier before i came?" | |

| Seeing the twirl of the blade caused an immediate reaction from Ree where she instead decided to match him head-on. The swordswoman took a decisive and strong step forward as Gabe came closer with his hilt strike. She swiftly maneuvered her blade up in front of her chest as she advanced. Her curled knuckles made a soft impact against Gabe's chest at the same time when he performed his strike, also again narrowly missing her and preventing him from striking at her with is blade with this much closed distance.
Ree didn't stop there as she smoothly and quickly performed a leg sweep with her right ankle curling around his left ankle. The movement was facilitated with her wooden blade not only pressing and pushing against his chest, but horizontally against his neck to force him to follow through with her technique. Because his axis of balance was in turmoil with his recent hilt attack, Ree easily took advantage of it to completely disrupt it. It would cause him to fall to the floor on his back.

| Even though Gabe had set up his strike in order to be a bit of a setup, he still kept on his toes and observed the action that Ree made by landing the soft impact on his chest. His miss was anticipated, but Gabe didn't quit, actually interpreting Rei's intentions by taking a gander at her footwork and immediately moves in by picking up his leg instead of falling down with his body and putting Ree in an awkward position with her leg and make it a prime target for Gabe to strike down with his wooden sword. Strength - Spoiler:
—Strength Name: Evasive Maneuvers —Description: A means to dodge while still not fast enough in reflexes and in speed. It allows Gabe to rely on his own predictions of the opponent's thoughts, intentions, preparatory actions, and line of sight and for him to act beforehand.

| However, Gabriel was too close to do any meaningful striking with his blade. A sword required a set amount of distance to be able to swing. In this very close range where they were Ree has her knuckles against his chest, there was in no way that he could actually make any bit of a swing at all. At the same time, despite his maneuver to dodge the sweep, it would put him off enough balance to begin to fall due to Ree's push against his chest with her fists and her wooden blade. If he was even going to attack her legs, the close distance would still put him at a significant disadvantage in not being able to make a full swing.
But at the same time, as a devoutly practiced swordswoman, she had a significant amount of balance in her leg which didn't allow her to also meet the similar problems as Gabriel. And even assuming Gabriel being off-balance wasn't enough, Ree smoothly doubled up into a knee into his stomach a quarter-second after her sweep missed. This would force his back to finally meet against the wood on the floor.

| Even though he fell to the floor after being kneed by Ree, Gabe would slowly make his way back up again as he leveled the sword back towards Ree. He wasn't going to give up anytime soon, and being on the offensive is how he knew how to do at this point. It wasn't like he would be able to anticipate anything that Ree would notice the skill gap was so high, on top of the fact that they were using swords. At best, Gabe could brace for a lucky hit as he made a jabbing motion with the sword this time instead of a heavy swing. | |

| A moment of desperation was a moment of vulnerability. While she did teach him how to use a thrust, it was still relatively unpracticed and needed time to hone further. Because he tried to stab at her out of desperation, she simply countered with a rap, to the side as she swept sideways, to his wrist holding the blade. Because their weapons were made of solid wood and the impact could be felt to his bone, it would be enough for someone inexperienced as Gabriel to drop the blade. | |

| "Ah!" Gabe would whimper out in pain a bit as he dropped the wooden blade, Holding his wrist, Gabe would let out a nervous chuckle as he continued to rub the spot that was stricken, hoping that the pain would go away soon. "I guess this means I still have a lot to learn, but from what I was weeing with you sticking the dummy, I felt that something was bothering you and you needed to release a little stress. " He could be right, he could be wrong. However, Gabe would rub his wrist for the time being. | |
