Dell’s Dellicious Challenge!
The Rules!
Person who can earn the most points wins, simple right? You have a choice of different hot dogs to eat, some are spicier than others so watch your tongue or you might get burned! For this game, your HP counts as your fullness, once you reach 0HP you’re full and cannot eat another bite! Remember, the hotter the dog, the more points you earn!
Hot Dog Menu:
Regular Dog: Eating this will make you lose between 1-10 HP! You will make an rng roll (using a D10) when you post to see how much you lose! ~Gains 1 Point.
Mustard Dog: Eating this will make you lose between 1-10 HP! You will make an rng roll (using a D10) when you post to see how much you lose! Alongside this, you will make a separate roll (using a D4). On the roll of a 4 with this roll, whatever HP you lost by eating it is doubled! ~Gains 3 points.
Hot, Hot Dog: Eating this will make you lose between 1-10 HP! You will make an rng roll (using a D10) when you post to see how much you lose! Alongside this, you will make a separate roll (using a D2). On the roll of a 2 with this roll, whatever HP you lost by eating it is doubled! ~Gains 6 points
Spicy Dog: Eating this will make you lose between 1-10 HP! You will make an rng roll (using a D10) when you post to see how much you lose! Alongside this, you will make a separate roll (using a D3). On the roll of a 2 with this roll, whatever HP you lost by eating is doubled! If you roll a 3 with this roll, whatever HP you lost by eating is tripled! ~Gains 9 points.
Dells Dellicacy: Eating this will make you lose between 1-10 HP! You will make an rng roll (using a D10) when you post to see how much you lose! Alongside this, you will make a separate roll (using a D4). On the roll of a 2 with this roll, whatever HP you lost by eating is doubled! If you roll a 3 with this roll, whatever HP you lost by eating is tripled! If you roll a 4 with this roll, whatever HP you lost by eating is quadrupled! ~Gains 15 points.
Remember, as soon as your HP hits 0, you’re full! If you go 10 under your HP with your last dog, then you got full halfway through and couldn’t finish it meaning the points for it unfortunately don’t count!
Good luck and may the best gut win!

Azul was not in the least bit worried about this, if he had to be honest. Besides, he was fairly sure he could eat more than a cat...likely some weird space cat, but still. He gave a curt nod, then decided to just go for broke immediately.

Neh, Cryox was mostly doing this for the fun and the technically free food. Winning would definitely be a nice bonus, that was for sure though. Let's hope the food was good though. He would stick his tongue at the blonde kid before choosing to go for the same type. Might as well try to follow up.

Azul coughed after finishing the hot dog. It was spicy sure, but not as bad as he had been expecting. He rubbed his face a little. Well. If they were worth 15 points each, and it hadn't been so bad the first time...maybe he could try another. "Tap out whenever, kitty." He stated, before going for another one of the so called 'spiciest' dogs.

The feline would wag his tail slightly. Eh, well these weren't too bad. Spicy, but that was to be expected, right? ''Why would I? The food is good.'' Even if he did happen to be unlucky and lose in the end, it was still better than being a coward just because someone suggested it.

Azul wasn't even really phased by that one. "...I guess." He had never really cared about how food tasted before. He took whatever he could get. "...does how food tastes really matter?" He wondered aloud...apparently the cat had made him more verbal than usual.

Mmmm? ''Why not? Isn't it better to eat things that taste good?'' Well, he would sure prefer good tasting food over something nasty. It's not like all food tasted bland unless you had problems with your taste buds in some way. Though spicy food could be painful at times...

"...I haven't really had many options before." Azul admitted. He rubbed the back of his head, with a tiny sigh. It was either eat what he could get, or don't eat at all...at least until he had reached Junction.

''Neeh, you live with what you've got in the current moment, right? Then you can explore now that you can.'' Adapting and making the best out of what was thrown at you was something you had to do when life decided to mess with you. At least this world seemed to not have it too bad for now.

Azul blinked. "You alright?" He asked. While he hadn't been too phased by the hot dogs...that one seemed to have been rather hot. He shifted in his chair a little. "Well, I think that settles this...for now." Azul decided. "You made some fair points, cat. But I think you may regret eating that...specific one later." Azul coughed a little. "...I'm Azul." He finally gave his name. He wasn't sure if the cat could even still speak...which was fairly odd in the first place, but it was probably worth putting his name out there. He liked this one.

Ow ow ow, well that one had surely been a lucky pick in a bad way. Geeez, was it even legal to make food this hot? Though, assuming it wasn't made to kill...he'd be okay in time, right? It was just...really spicy, that's all...hehe. Cryox would stick his tongue out slightly, pawing at it a bit, though he would give up trying pretty quick and opt to just endure the burn until it faded. What can you do? Blinking up at the blonde who surprisingly went on to make chit-chat, the feline would choose to give his mouth a break for the moment, speaking to the boy through his telepathic powers. ''Hee...I think I'll live. Those are some crazy spices though...'' Seriously. Did anyone even like it that hot? Well, maybe if they had no sense of taste, or at least a very dulled one. He would cough a little. ''Name's Cryox....Heyo.''

"I got pretty lucky, then." Azul decided. "Sure you're alright?" It was extremely rare he was so vocal, but...really, he was in a decent mood at the moment. "Telepathy?" Azul asked, leaning forwards a little. He blinked, stopping to log that in his database. If he was wrong, he could just update it later...but he liked keeping track of such things. It was nice.

He was...okay. It wasn't a very nice feeling, but he wasn't about to croak from a damn hotdog, that was for sure. That'd be too much shame. ''It buuurns. I think..this food isn't mean to kill though....'' It better not. No one wants to get sued, riiight? ''Wanna try one too?'' At least he could still make jokes about it, so perhaps he really wasn't about to be dead meat. ''Erm...yes. It's simpler that way for the moment.'' He could probably speak if he tried, but there was no reason to agitate the burns further, was there now?

Azul shook his head. "Pass." He shrugged. Given how the cat was reacting, he felt he didn't really need a first hand experience. No matter how amusing this secretly was. "Works for me." If it was a matter of not making it complicated...he could understand that. He really didn't want a complicated explanation for something he could just simplify, easily. "...I don't think it's meant for murder." He finally determined. Maybe just amusement. be it for people watching, or the chef himself, SOMEONE had to be enjoying watching this. Azul sort of was, though was mostly just glad he didn't get one of the Murder-Dogs. It didn't look fun.

''Neh, too bad.'' It was a pretty intense experience indeed, but maybe it was worth it in some way? Like, developing some resistance to spiciness for the future? Actually, he would kind of like that. Maaaybe it wasn't as simple as that however. ''Heh...I can agree there are better ways to murder someone unnoticed. Thiiiis would draw a lot of attention for sure. Bad strategy.'' Very bad. Especially doing it by a contest others would probably watch. Definitely didn't make sense to serve something that could seriously kill.
