| There was only so much of Junction that one could explore before they got curious about what was outside of the giant city, not within. Had the situation been different perhaps Lucian would’ve ventured out of the city and into this strange new(er) world, but… this thing called the “jump” was supposedly only moments away, and there was no chance in hell that Lucian was risking getting stuck outside of Junction when Alice and James were still very much inside of it. Instead, the man would conform to climbing through the scaffolds that surrounded the pillar-like city and access the Sky-Lght to get a decent view of what the world was like from within the safety of Junction. What he saw… it left him speechless. A beach of blue sand, surrounded by nothing but clear green water and a deep red sky as far as the eye could see. It looked more like an album cover than it did a real biome, but… the unexpected was to be expected in a place like this, wasn’t it? At least it wasn’t any sort of overly-bizarre environment. He honestly regretted not having the time to venture out into it, it would’ve made for a great de-stressor. | |

| How did she get here? Sure, the scaffolding gave a really nice view and all, but it wasn't really that easy to remember what compelled her to come up here in the first place. Ever since arriving in Junction, her mind had been the foggiest thing, and not only that but her Angel suddenly stopped responding to her calls too...
//"At least the sun looks fairly nice."// Julie pouted softly as she stared out into the new world she had to bear witness to. This was weird, all of it was, really. But she guessed it wouldn't do to just lose faith because of it. //"Ma saintesse... why won't you speak to me?"//
With a sigh and without particularly noting her surroundings, the songstress did what she did best: she began to sing a serenade. Something calming and soothing, a soft melody that would allow her to calm her soul and gain her bearings again. She couldn't tell how long it took for her to feel this way, but right now the only hope in Julie's heart came from this one song.//"Perhaps... this will do. Ah, Louis, how I wish you could see these skies."// | |

| Even if he couldn’t experience it for himself, the mere sight was an experience on its very own. The blowing wind, the vibrant colors, the specs that looked like little alien crabs from up here, the soothing song, the fresh air… it was all so- wait a second. Singing? That audio quality didn’t sound like a radio or intercom of any kind, and he’d heard Junction’s intercoms not too long ago. He looked around, only to find that the singing’s volume came from a few turns of the corner away. Curious, the man followed the music, enjoying it as he continued along until he found its source. A young boyish-looking woman, seeming more focused on the scenery visible than on her actual singing, which was… well, impressive, to say the least. Lucian would wait patiently until the song was over, at which point he’d clap, eager to grab her attention. “You’re a very good singer…” he began “…but wouldn’t you say it’s a bit wasteful to sing when there’s nobody around to hear it?” | |
