Hmm… he didn’t buy it, but… if the boy considered it something not worth telling, he’d put his trust in that for now; having been told anything to begin with was a favor itself already, he supposed. “Alright then, if you say so then I’ll trust your word for it.”

Well, that was rather short, wasn’t it? Digging into his pocket, Lucian placed a small amount of VC (what he was sure was a little above pocket change, from what he gathered) on the fortune-teller’s table. “Here, for your troubles. I insist.” If the boy tried to deny the payment, he would just keep insisting until he gave in. “Thank you for the reading, mister… uh…” well, now that he thought about it, they’d never introduced themselves to each other. After he gave Lucian his name, Lucian would give him his in return. “Now then, I must be going. Take care of yourself, okay? Wouldn’t want another accident.” And with an earnest chuckle, Lucian left the scene.

He'd nod his head, a smile crossing his face as he gave him the money. He didn't really need it... His richness and all... But he insisted so he'd take it with a polite nod of his head. He'd stand and bow before speaking his name, though, a common courtesy that he did with all of his customers.

"My name is Cassiel Pendragon. Let fortune rain upon you." he'd say before the man left. To be blunt, he'd be closing up shop early... The day had been much too stressful all things considered... But still.
