| Day 5, Morning,
It was early, Esra needed some space away from everyone, she needed coffee. Bleary eyed she still stood straight if slightly dazed, not that much different from normal except the slight gloss to her eyes and the bags not quite concealed under them. Somehow she had to make it through the rest of the day of school on top of this nonsense that was keeping her up at night. All this weird behavior the last two days was going to be noticed sooner or later, talking to strange boys, going out of her normal patterns, being tired. At the very least she had to cover that up and hide it for the most part, just claim she was sick or something.
Fishing out a few coins she slid them rhythmically into the coin and without waiting selected the chilled mocha coffee down near the bottom. Getting coffee at school was hard enough, let alone in the mornings. Letting out a small sigh she leaned against the wall next to the machine and peeled the cap off the cup, hidden from sight from the corridor where there was just a little bit of peace. It wasn’t like she was meant to be anywhere right now, before classes started. Still it felt like she was doing something forbidden, even if she was fine.
Toying with the ringpull she tried to focus her mind, it didn’t really work. So much had happened it felt like she was being pulled along, caught in the tide. Not being in control, she hated that, she needed control. Her childhood had been beyond her, someone else telling what to do, so much she ran away from it. A mistake but one she made, was this the same? Was she going to make another massive mistake, would she be the one to die this time? Would someone else? She’d brought Pendleton into this, was that bad? What a mess.

| Frog never drank coffee. It was a sad sad disdainable ugly and pretty gross drink that reminded him of both crap and blood at the same time, effectively being slated as diarrhea in his mind. The only reason he'd ever come near the coffee vending machine was so that he could get some juice from the machine right up next to it. And so he did, because god knows he always needed some sugary beverage to rehydrate himself. Water was disgustingly too bland for him, good only for washing away the taste of chocolate from his mouth. All consumers of coffee were weak reprehensible fools who could not wake up on their own and sought help from a addiction to keep themselves sane.
He'd never be like that, he thought to himself, opening his phone up to check on the latest news in his favourite game.
...when he noticed someone out of the corner of his eye.
He usually wouldn't have reacted to seeing a person like Esra in the hallway, but he did this time, out of the sheer aura that surrounded her. She didn't want to be seen and so, naturally, Frog wanted to see her even more.
He walked over to her slowly, sitting down on a chair at one of the tables used for breaks between classes in the hallway next to the vending machines. He sat quite close to her so as to be in her direct line of sight. She should see him him the very moment she'd start paying attention. Also, he was looking towards her and waving a hand at her. In the meantime, he'd put away the phone, naturally. Nobody he knew or didn't know had no reason to know what he was doing on the device.

| It tasted milky and chocolatey and barely of coffee at all, that was good. Cold coffee was just terrible, Esra just didn't get it. She would drink it at cafes and maybe a few times at home but generally she didn't need it. For most people she was still normally up pretty late but she had energy to burn, today she was just burned out. Lowering the can from her lips she noticed exactly how lax she had let herself become. That boy was sat in front of her, the one from last night, the first one. The one that couldn't baseball and wanted to escape other people, yet here he was. That made two for two, why were people stalking her? Would everyone she ran into yesterday be back today for more?
Raising her free hand in acknowledgement of the wave she took a breath and pushed off the wall, picking her bag up in a fluid motion. "Hey, you looking for me?" It seemed a weird chance, the school wasn't exactly small. Her voice was polite enough, well, roughly polite.
Dumping her bag on the ground she took chair next to his tucking in her skirts as she sat down. Placing the can in both hands she looked at him for a moment before fixing her attention squarely on the ring-pull. Reflecting back she acted different from how she normally did last night. He'd seen a side of her most people didn't see, even if it was just a peak. That made this weird, weirder.

| "Hmm, I wasn't actually looking for you, I just kinda stumbled into you." Frog shrugged as she sat down. Inside though, he was far from complacent. no, he was more rejoicing over the fact she noticed him and even went as far as to sit next to him. All he'd gotten from her yesterday, albeit she did help him a lot and wasn't a complete asshat, mixed signals on whether she actually wanted company or not.
...and then there was that...laughing fit... He shuddered thinking about it.
"No, really, I just wanted to greet you. Kinda. I guess." He shrugged again, looking at the one thing she too looked at-the ring pull. "Hmmm...so I haven't done much in terms of practice since then..." He mused.

| "It's only been twelve hours, you've still got time," Esra leaded back into her seat and felt the table behind press into her back. Stretching out almost like a cat she flexed her arms and flicked her legs out in front of her. The can creaked a little in her fingers, why was she feeling more relaxed? Just the coffee?
"What is your name anyway," She had meant to find out today without asking but, here he was. There were other more important things to sort out today. Settling back down she looked at him and offered the smallest of an almost smile.

| Frog almost had to cringe at her attempted smile as it felt off and also reminded him of her maniacal fit. He, however, appreciated the question. "My name's Frog. Well, it's Frogerio, but everyone calls me Frog." He answered as he always did when people asked and shrugged. Her body language told him she was feeling casual, almost like this was her sofa or something. He appreciated that as well. Turns out she was kinda ok, at least right now, and well, at least she wasn't laughing like a harpy like yesterday.
"Yours?" He reciprocated casually.

| That is certainly a weird one, poor kid. Esra looked at him and tried to think of anyone with a worse name, no one came. Folding herself back into a less casual, more managed sit she took a breath. Her name was just a name, it didn't mean anything to her, "I'm Esra Dean, most people call me Miss Dean." There was a certain teacherly air to her sometimes but most people were just mildly scared of her.
"Do you like being called Frog?" Just because most people did it, did not mean he liked it. She was feeling nice enough to call him what he wanted to be called right now. There was time to kill and this conversation seemed less stressful than most lately. Drinking the last of the coffee she swirled the can to check for more as she eyed him. It was just odd, something.

| Uhm...so was he supposed to call her Miss Dean? Well that was blatantly stupid and he was never gonna be able to force himself into uttering such an idiocy. Sure, he had enough respect for her just from that one meeting they had, but he still wasn't gonna do it just 'cause she asked, 'cause it didn't feel right on his tongue. Call yourself either a Miss or an Esra. Pick one, dammit. It didn't help she wasn't much older-if at all-from him.
He gave her a confused blink before grinning. "Mind if I just call you Esra?" He asked sheepishly, fully expecting to get turned down in his request, although he had the gut feeling she really wouldn't even give half a crap however he called her. "I don't mind my name." He said as he leaned back. "Really so long as people don't blatantly mock it, I'll be fine. Like wearing glasses, it's something I'd always had, so it's very normal for me." Frog shrugged, opened the bottle of juice, and took a sip, waiting to hear Esra's reaction. Honestly, her name was really pretty.

| "You can call me Esra if you want, most people don't." Esra smilled very faintly, she liked the wall that Miss threw up between her and other people. The little paper strip that put off some of the most inane and least interesting from annoying her. The slightly less personal tone that let her hide her feeling a little bit more. It was all stupid but it was the way things were.
Making up her mind that it wasn't worth trying to suck the last drops from the bottom of the can Esra placed it on the ground in front of them. After a moment of silence she broke it with, "How come you are at school early today?" It wasn't that early but she'd guess at him being the sort of person to get to school just before class.

| Hrngh so yes Frog was happy but also disappointed at the same time over Esra just accepting the way he decided to address her. Made him want to call her 'Miss', though in that case he'd maybe be playing right into her trap and to her accord. He decided to roll with it for now and see how it panned out.
Other thing was Esra was quite proning in her approach. She eyed him so viciously and pinpointed his pattern of behaviour. She guessed right, he was one of those people that barely made it to class in time, but there were always exceptions, extreme cases that broke the quo, though today was one of those, for all the wrong reasons. Terroristic reasons.
"Well you talk like you know mr already or something. Makes me feel like you've already taken notice of me before so you have the confidence to speak of my habits so freely." The boy smugly tried to juggle his words, leaning against the table lazily. He was never a long sleeper but pulling all-nighters doing illegal work really drained a person.
