Welcome, Welcome! You've probably guessed by now, but this is a text-based Persona RPG site for Atlus fans, by Atlus fans. If you're new to Shin Megami Tensei, this place can still be for you, so no need to dash towards the doors! Your first stop should be the introduction board so we can introduce ourselves. Birth Name: Randulf Steiger Aliases: The Texas Ranger Gender: Male Age: 24 Birth Day:November 12, 1989 Arcana: Fool Faction: The Tokonosu Military Summoning Device:A GPS device that looks like a rather large watch. It is wrapped around his wrist for easy access on the field, because you never know what is going to happen out there.
Appearance: As he appears in the image above, and he stands around 6'1 in height with a muscular build. However, he doesn't wear a mask much, if at all. The only time he puts the mask on is if he is the last man standing on his mission, and then he gets quite serious or a bit reckless. The same applies to the badge he is wearing. Tex will often alternate between wearing a black or white cowboy hat, it just depends on his mood for the day. He also wears a belt that carries additional ammunition. Then there is a black pack on the left side of his black combat fatigues, which the military insisted that he wore since rodeo pants weren't exactly military grade equipment, that also contains spare ammo. An identical pack on his right side and down his right legs often carry rations, including a canteen.
As for his upper body, he wears a suit jacket for the most part. If he is not wearing a jacket then he might wear a sleeveless vest like one might expect ranchers to wear. However, if he is wearing a jacket he always wears a matching vest to cover up the military fatigues underneath, he tries to hide what military wear he can since there was no military in the Wild West.
Personality: Perhaps Tex watched too many Westerns movies when he was a child, because he has developed an attitude that would fit right in with the heroes of the Wild West. Tex is an adventurous sort, always looking for the next thrill or the next turn around the bend. He is not afraid to explore the more dangerous parts of this new world. However, his adventurous attitude has made him reckless in some cases where he thinks he can outdo just about anyone who challenges him.
Furthermore, he has a somewhat of a happy go lucky attitude, because everything will work out, and if it doesn't then he will make it work out. This gives him a somewhat childish and optimistic attitude, which may help a few of his comrades lighten up a bit. Some would say that this childish attitude is the source of his creativity. However, most agree that for a man with a wild imagination the military was a rather odd profession to go into.
However, like some heroes he has a lot of pride, which can make it difficult working with him. So watch your words carefully around him, less you manage to injure that pride. However, this pride is a source of strength as he will try harder than ever to surpass any challenge that his comrades or enemies set before him.
The Potential
Strengths: (Anything your character is skilled in, such as Martial Arts/ Drawing/ etc? You are allowed a maximum of five strengths and a minimum of three.)
—Strength Name: Quickdraw —Description: Tex has always had a fast hand, even when surprised from an unexpected angle. Furthermore, his first shot after he draws his six-shooter is very accurate. Needless to say, no one challenges Tex to a duel at noon.
—Strength Name: Cowboys don't stay down —Description: Cowboys in the western movies that Tex watched were tough and managed to fight their way out of some of the toughest situations. Even when they're knocked down they continue to get back up. Thus when in a tough situation Tex will fight even harder than before to ensure that he pulls through.
—Strength Name: Rough Rider —Description: Tex is used to rather difficult terrain from growing up in The Rocky Mountains, and combined with this military training he is rarely slowed by difficult terrain.
—Strength Name: Military Training —Description: Like most of his comrades Tex is familiar with strategy, and is not afraid to use flanking maneuvers, hit and run attacks, or setting traps for unaware foes. Furthermore, he was taught how to effectively fight in close combat.
—Strength Name: Creative —Description: Whether it is natural or due to his wild imagination, Tex can come up with creative ideas or pastimes. This has served to be useful in battle...if one can get him to think of a creative solution to the predicament they're in.
Weaknesses: (You must have the same amount of weaknesses as strengths. These weaknesses pertain to you and not your Persona. IE: Physically Weaker, lack of attention span, etc.)
—Weakness Name: Reckless —Description: Tex can be a bit reckless at time and charge forward thinking he can handle a situation, when instead he ends up over his head. Perhaps he isn't the bulletproof cowboy that can ride into town and defeat all the bad guys after all.
—Weakness Name: Cowboy's Pride —Description: Some of his comrades have learned not to make fun of Tex's hat or his six-shooter, unless they don't want his help. After all a cowboy doesn't sit around and take insults, they make sure to prove whoever challenged them wrong.
—Weakness Name: Military Protocols —Description: The military is not allowed to harm non-combatants, therefore Tex will never engage a University Student or Wolf Trap Rebellion member (unless they are known to be an enemy) unless they engage him first.
—Weakness Name: Thrill Seeker —Description: Tex often takes the more dangerous jobs over the boring easy ones such as 'wall duty' or as he likes to call it 'let your eyes rot from boredom duty'. This can lead him to be less focused on objectives and more focused on fighting tough demons and gathering loot.
—Weakness Name: Moral Code —Description: Tex isn't a robotic solider like some of his comrades, rather he has a 'nice guy' side. Thus he won't take a human life if he can help it. Your loot on the other hand may be a different matter.
Soul Bound Weapon: (This is the weapon you'll be able to summon to your hand while in combat. This weapon is special for your character specifically and allows you to fight Demons without the need of summoning your own. This can be anything but a Gun (Or gun related weapon)) unless stated otherwise.
Weapon Name: Western Enforcement Weapon Description: This is a colt six shot revolver that was used during the times of the western frontier with cowboys and lone rangers. It's barrel makes up 6 inches out of the 13 inch length. This revolver fires .45 caliber rounds, but each shot requires the hammer to be pulled back before the next one can be fired. Reloading can be time consuming, but fortunately for Texas he has a speed revolver which greatly speeds up the reloading process. Weapon Image:

Weapon Attack Type: Pierce
Weapon Name: Old Reliable Weapon Description: Old Reliable is a bowie knife that Tex uses for close combat encounters. The blade is 8.57 inches long and made of stainless steel. It can be handled with either an overhand or underhand grip allowing a somewhat versatile range of attacks. However, one has to be rather close in order to use this in close combat. Weapon Image:
Demon Background: Priscilla is a crossbreed between a human and dragon, her size indicates this as she stands at least three feet above the tallest humans. She lives in her own little world hidden in a painting and acts as a ruler or guardian of the strange inhabitants there. She encourages those that misstep in her world to quickly leave for the inhabitants, who the individual had to fight through in order to get to her, are at peace and do no harm. There are rumors that she has a power known as "Lifehunt" that makes even the gods and most powerful demons fear her. Perhaps the rumors are true and she was exiled due to this instead of her heritage? How did Tex meet her and form a pact? Perhaps he happened to cross her on one of his adventures and managed to woo her? Perhaps not, but they have never been open about it....

Human Skill Name: Lifehunt Demon Name: Priscilla Tier: 2 Cost: 20 SP Type of Damage: Bufu Description: Taking a deep breath the user harness a fraction of Priscilla's lifehunt power. Upon releasing the breath they create a mist of frost, which expands in a cone shape up to 10 feet from the user with a maximum width of 5 feet , however upon contact with an ally/enemy it will feel like death's cold grasp. This mist persists for three turns, and if one is foolish enough to remain it they suffer tier 1 bufu damage (This will not be enhanced by any sort of boost). Furthermore, those hit by this mist have a 10% chance of suffering from the fear status effect.
