| Hiro "Here again...but why?"
The Biography
|
Birth Name: Hiro Aliases: NA Gender: Male Age: He is immortal and is currently 426 years of age, but still appears to be about 26 years of age. Birth Day: Oct. 13 Arcana: The Devil
Summoning Device: A strange collection of bones, skulls, teeth, and flowers know as Mysteria. He keeps the strange items hidden on him within a pouch that seems to be empty.Within battle he reaches into this pouch summoning a handful of the mixture to reality and tossing it towards the enemy when summoning his demons. While the mixture harm nothing, the smell of death and the sight alone can throw people off guard and cause the jumpy to panic a bit when they are thrown.
Place of Residence: He exist in a dimension between reality and non-existence. In a nutshell, he is nomadic and can be found anywhere when he wants to be seen or found.
Job: He is a yokai (spirit), that hunts down the supernatural and the odd documenting what he sees through writing, drawings, and photography. His knowledge on the subject is extensive making him a great source of information.
Appearance:
Hiro is 5'5" in height and weighs about 140 pounds. He is a nice build, but far from muscular. Still this does not mean he is not strong. His skin a soft tan and his eyes are a wine red. He typical dons all black clothing, but can be seen in casual clothing from time to time. His hair is semi-long and black.
After the events that happened in Arozes and the fusion with his lighter half, Hiro's appearance has changed a bit. While height, weight, and skin tone has remained the same, the spirit now sports a more unruly hair style that is bit longer than his original style. On top of that his eyes have settled into deep pools of blue and his clothing is more casual and modern than before.
Personality: On the surface he appears nice and calm. He is approachable enough and doesn't seem to shun company. He appears to be well manner, but doesn't expect others to be the same way. He seems quite used to cruelty and can take it well enough and dish it right back; however, he appears to not do this unless necessary.
He seems like the comforting type. He listens and is always there for those who need a shoulder. There doesn't seem to be a limit to his kindness whether he knows a person or not.
Despite how gentle he seems there are some things that do not change with him like his serious attitude and no-nonsense attitude. He is blunt and can seem cold and heartless when dealing with people. He won't lie to you and doesn't seem to care if tears are shed or not when dealing with the truth. Being a spirit creature he is not really fond of humans, but rather tolerates them within his space. He has no issues with space invasion or being touched as long as someone asks him to do such things first or if he is very comfortable with the person. He has the tendency to back away or tense up when presented with these situations out of the blue and on some occasions he will even react in a not so pleasant manner to such actions.
Hiro is one of the few people that walk an absolute neutral path. He may or may not help someone just because he feels like it, but do not think for one moment that makes him ally. Just as easily as he helps one he can turn against them, especially since most people do not follow his logic or cause.
He doesn't care for the gods or supernatural rulers, seeming to only tolerate them as much as he does humans. However, there is a bit more respect to be had when he sees a thing similar to his race or non-human. The reason being they are familiar to him and he does not have to try so hard to blend in with the main race. Hiro has absolute hate for any being that tries to sway humans Fate for their own personal gain. While he has no love for humans, he believes humans alone should choose their path and does everything in his power to make sure humans and spirits alike stay free of such beings. In his mind, spirits of any kind should not even be bother with such affairs. Spirits and humans should remain separate to keep the peace.
As far as romance goes, Hiro is bi-sexual, so can partner with either sex as long as he loves the other and they remain loyal only to him. While he doesn't mind flirting or play to cheat on him or betray him always spells some form of disaster for the offending party. He does not forgive betrayal. Period.
Outside of this, Hiro is neither good nor bad. He allows people to shade him as they see fit and then go from there. Hiro always walks to his own drum beat and will not bow down to others ways. End of story.
While Hiro still retains himself more or less, almost being killed by Neosi and seeing someone sacrifice themselves for the sake of saving the world has humbled the otherwise over-confident young man making him calmer and more contemplative than before.

The Potential
|
Strengths: (Anything your character is skilled in, such as Martial Arts/ Drawing/ etc? You are allowed a maximum of five strengths and a minimum of three.)
—Strength Name: Superhuman —Description: Hiro is not human and as such he has superhuman strength, agility, senses, and endurance. He is pretty durable as well being able to take alot of pain before falling and he has the ability to fall from heights that should harm him, but he walks away most of the time just fine. Note: Hiro can shrug off pain well enough and appear fine on the outside; however, this does not mean he is fine. Even if he has fallen from a height that should've killed him and walks away this doesn't mean that internally he is alright. Something is bound to break or get damage despite the way he shrugs it off and keeps fighting while heavily injured.
—Strength Name: Undead —Description: Being a spirit gives him benefits that come along with being undead such as: he doesn't show injuries as easily and cannot really be destroyed. This does not mean he cannot be defeated. He just cannot be killed by normal means. Note: This means that Hiro can handle normal attacks from your everyday weapons and not be phased by them. The most effective way of damaging him is via soul bound or persona/demon attacks since they are supernatural in origin they work against him well him well.
—Strength Name: I see you. —Description: While Hiro can see like a regular person does, his true sense of sight rests in his ability to trace visible energies given off by all matter of life and non-life. This tracing of energy keeps him alert to where things are at all times including the supernatural. Note: This does not apply to humans. Hiro only traces supernatural or non-living traces (mechanical energies). This includes ASSWs and traces of shadows; however, this is not automatic as he needs traces to figure out where something is and what it is. Meaning he has to hunt before figuring out locations. This skill helps him document information on the supernatural and also hunt down things others cannot by following their left behind traces. Hiro can follow a trace for three posts before needing a new one to refesh the one he is tracking to continue to follow it. This can be challenging when multiple traces linger forcing him to work harder to find what things when this happens.
—Strength Name: Neutrality —Description: His neutral stance in the world makes it easy for him to get along with most people and even work with most people as long as they remain non-hostile to him.
—Strength Name: Hunter —Description: Hiro's sixth sense that allows him to sense supernatural or strange things, allows him to hunt down the supernatural and odd, but also hunt people and shadows via items or clues he may find and touch. His sixth sense gives him small hints of what may have happened and in turns allows him track things. Using this and his deductive skills, he can find the thing which is needs to be found.
Weaknesses: (You must have the same amount of weaknesses as strengths. These weaknesses pertain to you and not your Persona. IE: Physically Weaker, lack of attention span, etc.)
—Weakness Name: Neutrality —Description: Due to him not siding with anyone, he has no issues rebelling or turning against ideas or things that seem to be trying to force him to be what he doesn't want to be. He isn't the hero or the villain and doesn't want to play either role. This "I-march-to-the-beat-of-my-own-drum" attitude may cause him to clash with those set on goals or sides.
—Weakness Name: Disinterest —Description: Hiro is okay for short conversations, but long ones that he is not interested in or situations he finds boring causes the guy to either find a way to wander away from it or if he cannot, he will become uncooperative or start doing something else. As a result of this, some may become highly agitated and think him a traitor or useless when it comes to some things. Problem is he won't try and change that opinion.
—Weakness Name: Overload —Description: Hiro's sensitive senses and connection to the supernatural is all well; however, this is also a problem. When surrounded by too much supernatural energy or to many things for his senses to handle, Hiro becomes disoriented and unpredictable. If it is bad enough he'll strike out at anything that he sees as a threat in this state.
—Weakness Name: Superhuman and Supernatural. —Description: While Hiro is stronger than the average human and has supernatural abilities, there is a catch to it all. Due to the fact that his superhuman abilities cover such a broad range of thing, if he came across someone who specialized in one field, let's say speed, he would be at the disadvantage and overpowered by the specialist. Also his abilities on the supernatural side are naturally hindered in the human world, really reducing him to simple things like floating, but due to strain he can only perform such task for a short period of time in the human world before having to rest and recharge. Thus he typically use such skills only when necessary on the human side of the world.
- Arozes Part I:
—Weakness Name: Broken —Description: Hiro seems stable, but due to his blurred past he is very unstable. As a result of this, his behavior can be very unpredictable and his mood flip without warning. For better or worse depends on the situation.
—Weakness Name: Broken —Description: While Hiro has gotten his metal state more or less in order allowing him more control of himself than before, being a servant to Neosi came at a price. He lost his persona to the beast and now can no longer wield or gain on. As a result, he has turned to a new path as a demon summoner to continue to survive against supernatural attacks. This in turn causes him to work harder for what he gains than most would.
Soul Bound Weapon: (This is the weapon you'll be able to summon to your hand while in combat. This weapon is special for your character specifically and allows you to fight Demons without the need of summoning your own. This can be anything but a Gun (Or gun related weapon)) unless stated otherwise.
Weapon Name: Anteria, the Blade of Life and Death Weapon Description: Anteria is a beautiful slightly curved blade about 5 feet in length. The blade is made of a strange durable material that is designed to take blows, but also deal out some deadly ones itself. The blade does not dull and is sharp enough to cut through flesh, bone, or metal like it was butter. The hilt is decorated with flowers that have skulls scattered throughout them. On the end is a small chain with a black and white tear drop on the end representing the beginning and end of life. The blade is as old as Hiro maybe even older, but it still remains in top condition. Weapon Image: NA Weapon Attack Type: Slash Weapon Element: (Leave this blank. Only special weapons obtain an element behind its blows.)

The Background
|
History:
- The Scroll of the Broken One - Arozes Part I:
Hiro was created within the Velvet Room like any other attendant. He was designed to be a guide and information center for guests and a soother for spirits that wandered about the world. He was placed under a female attendant named Olivia with another named Akumu Yume. Olivia was 1,000 of years older than both of them, but she was the best when it came to the spirit and medicine she art. When Hiro and Akumu were younger, things went pretty well. Both were taught by a gentle hand and they grew up seeing each other as brothers; however, things began to change when the two attendants began to go their separate ways, Akumu towards medicine and Hiro more towards the spiritual. As Akumu drifted away down his path, Hiro was stuck with Olivia, who went from sweet and kind to super demanding and cruel.
To prepare him for dealing with the spirits she put the attendant through an extreme training where he was locked in a special room where he had to survive for three days against the onslaught of malicious spirits there. The spirits attacked mercilessly and with nowhere to run, Hiro had no choice but to face them. He dealt with mental and physical abuse from the spirits as he learned dark secrets and was exposed to visions he did not wish to be exposed to. The experience fractured his mind, but he did survive and in turn was able to learn the cruelties of the living. With this stepped pass, Olivia let him out, but had him on a short leash. She sent him on missions to clear this spirit or that spirit out of an area with time limits. Every time he was late or failed to complete a task he was punished with pain or being locked up with a tormenting spirits.
When it came to guests, Olivia always hid in the background and would drive away any that seemed to be becoming friends with her student and when questioned, she would simply say the guest was not fit for Hiro. While this disappointed him, he dealt with this line of treatment for many years until by chance, he met a guest that not even Olivia could drive away. Her name was Magnolia.
Magnolia was an upbeat young woman with the strong will to make her own path in life. Out of all the attendants she could’ve met, she focused her mind on meeting the one attendant that three of her friends had been chased away from, Hiro. She met Hiro through Akumu, who brought her to the attendant after she personally requested a switch to him. A bit shocked, but not questioning Fate, Akumu honored the request and left the girl in Hiro’s hand.
Being used to having guest that did not stay, Hiro remained closed off to the girl for a long while hoping that attitude alone would drive her away before Olivia could; however, the girl was persistent and would not be driven away. Impressed and intrigue, Hiro slowly began to let the girl into his heart. He was terrified of the results, but when even Olivia could not drive the girl off, Hiro had hope for a better future.
Magnolia was the one to introduce Hiro to the outside world and show him the happier side of life. She introduced him to the shrines where peaceful spirits lived and even introduced him things like movies and such. She opened the world to him and showed him that the world did have a brighter side. He and she became close, but Olivia was there to ruin it.
Letting the girl get as close as possible to her student, she waited until her student was the happiest to send spirits of malice to the girl. These spirits drove the upbeat girl out of her mind and in the end, she killed herself. Naturally, the blow devastated her student and being the good teacher she was, she tried to bring him back over to her side with comfort; however, Hiro was no fool and he had been trained too well. He did not believe for a second that his dear guest had the potential to kill herself within and so when Olivia was not watching, he used his skills to follow the trails left behind by Magnolia’s spirit to find out exactly what happened. When he found the truth, he was able to put his friend’s soul to rest and returned home with the icy fires of revenge eating his heart.
Hiro let Olivia believe she had won, as he went back to being submissive to her every whim. He let this play out for one year before finally striking out at her. Hiro was helping the older attendant brush out her extremely long hair. Half way through the process he took a handful of it and with skill and accuracy, he used her own hair to choke the attendant to the death. With the deed done, he got rid of the body burning it and using old rituals to keep the spirit from coming back. When he was done, he felt quite proud of himself and didn’t even mind being banished from the Velvet Room thanks to his crime.
He was content, his purpose at that time reached; however, as time ticked on and the joy of that day began to fade into despair, Hiro began wandering about the world that reminded him so much of Magnolia. He tried to get along with the outside world, but the more he tried the more he began to loath the living. He didn’t understand why they had so much joy and he did not. He wanted to know what it was he was missing and so he started to hunt for the answer, but he could not find it. His obsession with the truth and the spirits that constantly lingered about him finally broke the fractured mind turning Hiro into a being that was a danger not only to himself, but the world. As a result the world locked him away behind padded walls and within the embrace of straightjackets where he remained a prisoner of his own mind for 10 years. During those 10 years, Hiro was said to have gone completely out of control and later killed himself to escape from it all. 100 years down the road, Hiro reappeared in a hidden form with black hair and dark colored eyes and calls himself the leader of the House of Peace.
His new look and the House of Peace his true intention of seeing the world brought down to its knees and destroyed. And so the final bell has rung and the reaper has appeared.
Hiro came to Arozes bent on destroying it. When he met Neosi, his greed and negativity allowed the creature to use him as a puppet for its own whims. While at first the power felt great, the man was eventually beaten down by the group of people that came to protect the islands. When he became useless, Neosi destroyed his persona and dropped the man into an abyss that should've killed him; however, by some miracle he was saved by a young man that he later found held the Fate of the World in his hands.
Weakened, but still alive Hiro saw the final battle that occurred on the islands and watched as the red head who had saved him gave his life to save the islands. The ordeal left the man with much to think about and shifted his perception on humans and the world in general. He began to see a brighter side to the world that offered hope. On a somewhat happy note, Hiro decided to leave the islands to their new future and so left the physical plain with his twin Akumu.
However, back in the spirit world trouble awaited him. Being broken by Neosi left a hole within the spirit that could not be healed. The hole allowed the linger darkness within Hiro to sink into him deeper. Due to the fact that Hiro was not a completed spirit to begin with, the spirit’s ability to fight the foreign darkness was low. As a result, the darkness began to feed on the hole making it bigger as it sought to consume what little of the spirit existed. Slowly the invasion was erasing Hiro. With death knocking at his door, Hiro thought he would be erased fully a just price for what he had done; however, his twin decided to save him.
By sacrificing his own life to become one with Hiro, the light spirit was able to plug up the hole within the broken spirit and give Hiro a second chance to live within the world. While the spirit was happy to be alive, he had planned to stay hidden within the supernatural pathways doing his work from afar.
For two years, he was able to stay hidden and learn the skills necessary for him to fight the supernatural. He learned how to summon demons to replace his inability to ever summon a persona again. The first demon to side with him was named Aria and for the most part she has stayed with Hiro over the years aiding him when things got to tough and keeping him company. Life might've remained this simple for the man; however, Fate decided it had other plans for him.
And so against his wishes, he was pulled back to the islands of Arozes Region, but for what purpose has yet to bee seen.

| For one, not dying conventionally seems like a big deal. Clarify that in how they could actually die. Also, the HS is an ailment so it needs a 25% chance to hit. | |

| Some of these traits are supernatural and normally they can't be. For example you can't have auto detect using supernatural stuff without a Human Skill. The supernatural boons just seem too much in general without gaining them through your journey. Once more, I am still not clear as to how he can be killed if not normally, since that is a huge strength to make without some huge weakness to back it up. | |

| You can have above average abilities overall, but they can't start off supernatural. Also, does the I see you strength include things like ASSW, Attendants, Shadows, etc? | |

| Just keep in mind if that someone specializes in a feat and overcome you, then your strength that covers several aspects are not "supernatural" in nature. Approved. | |
