Somber Morning Jaunt [James/Invite]

"Well... I ran into a pretty big thing and... Well... It was pretty damn freaky. Ya know?" He said, keeping his cool... Or at least, trying to. "So... Yeah... Almost to school... Any other questions or comments or anything Esra?" He asked, hoping to change the subject.

A thing, to be certain? That was certainly vague and evasive, more than she had gotten so far though. He went to the forest and encounter a, something, like a bear? Yet something he was scared of other people finding out. If it was a bear wouldn't he be bragging? Then what? She didn't know, there was a inkling but it was squashed. She would not bring that into every conversation she had, still. Weird.

"Nah, just don't do stupid stuff I guess. Maybe tell the Cadets if it scared you, it is their job." Sure, she'd do that too. It was a clue though, one she wanted to know more about. How to find out without seeming that she wanted to know, that was an idea.

"That.... Is actually a pretty good idea." Yeah, like he'd actually do that. He knew what happened. Hell he'd probably be arrested if he told the Cadets! "Oh! And one last thing before we get inside to class!" James said smiling at Esra. "You have a great day! Okay?" He then promptly went off to his classes for the day. [James Exit]

Weirdo. Esra stood for a moment and regarded him with mild confusion, she'd find out later. Somehow. It was starting to feel like she had a collection of puzzle pieces to different puzzles that might have something to do with each other. This one had a lot of holes, the other ones covered in spikes, she needed more. Finally not really calling after him she answered, "You too, I guess." He was strange, a strange story, maybe when her own weirdness was done she'd follow up. If he did what she said and disappeared, then she knew how careful she needed to be for real.
