Subject: Bloody Castle [Erisia Harmonia - Parangelian Side] Sat Jun 24, 2017 10:59 am
The halls of the palace broke as flames erupted from the inside; the floors of the palace cracked as a red liquid seeped through the tiles and forced them asunder. What was once a castle built for the Maidens to meet with the populace became no more than a wrecked pile of ash and debris, randomly strewn about as Sfalma came and went to pick it apart. It was unfit to live in now, obviously, completely and utterly destroyed.
However, the bridge to it was still very much usable albeit heavily guarded. Today, however, there would be no guards. Hell, there would be no Sfalma. All that there was to witness was the maddening, broken laughter erupting from the halls of the castle, impossibly loud enough to hear from the other side of the lake and the incredibly prevalent and repugnant stench of blood permeating throughout the area, even crossing so far as the outer margin of the lake and only becoming stronger the closer one got to the castle itself. Whatever was in there landed with a crash and made no effort to stay hidden as it thrashed about the very land that once belonged to the Maidens and it would only be a matter of time until it reached Parangelia...
"i guess even infinite speed wasn't fast enough to catch up to them. yeesh, he's making a bloody mess of things already; whaddaya say, partner, should we stanch out this leech?"
Dio kicked a pebble as he stared up at the castle from the end of the bridge; Samael would be next to him, having been placed there directly by Zant's hand. Well, one thing was for sure, at least he knew just where to dump them...
And then there was the figure ahead of them. The source of the laughter, the source of the destruction, as it took some steps through the lobby it had just finished destroying... but whatever it was, it didn't look quite... there. It was humanoid, but distorted, clear but blurry, a figure that seemed to fizzle from existence erratically and with no clear pattern. A silhouette that broke and reformed as if it was merely an image on a broken screen. Like an error in the very fabric of their world.
And it laughed.
It laughed, and laughed, and laughed, its voice broken and, similarly to the entity itself, erratic in pitch and tone. At times ear-piercing, at others soothing and yet at others as quiet as a giggle. One thing was for sure, though... The red beast was not of this world.
Others were free to arrive at this point. Most of the guards had cleared the way to defend against the Sfalma attempting to invade the city from other places and those that remained would gladly appreciate the assistance from anyone capable of giving it. Surely, those who would arrive already had experience in fighting; in a small town, those who fought to protect the peace weren't hard to recognize.

As expected, they finally arrived back home. But it certainly wasn't a sweet return given the state of things. Samael knew there was going to be an inevitable battle ahead, but it turned out nothing was ever going to be easy. Not that he didn't expect it, but you'd think having all the speed in the entirety of the universe/multiverse would get you there with enough time for some little R&R. "Is it just us...?"

A hacking cough would echo off the shattered walls and broken floors, joining the distorted laughter in a frazzled back and forth. The source of the cough, however would be no where to be seen, for several miles away and even more miles down, below the floors of the castle, in his lab that to this day seemed untouched by the corruption that had taken the lands, the great Dr.Mysterio sat with a content grin.
"Geeze... I thought we sent you people throug he portal to fix this shit... Truly your incompetence knows no bounds. I knew I should have gone myself. Next time I won't make that same mistake." Mysterio reclined in his seat and took a long hard dreg from his cigarette. The past few months... or has it been years?... Hell it could have just been hours for all he knew, time flows rather strangely when you're doing... research. Well the past however long it had been was quite... interesting to say the least. Sense the team of "Heroes" had been sent off he had gotten his little pet project out the door and, while it had yet to report back, he knew that it wouldn't take to long. "But dont worry kid, I got some back up for ya..."
Cresting over the rubble and taking to the air, a large figure would burst onto the scene, seemingly coming from the very ground we stand on. Spinning into the air in a display that was surely just to inflate his own ego
"Behold! The latest in Prangelian science! The 2A-Assault Mode! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Tesla! Give me a read out!
"E-E-Everything looks green M-Mysterio!" Came a second, less synthesized voice from the machine, no doubt the actual pilot, or at the very least, the power source.
"Perfect...Yo! Stick in the mud... Listen, I want a full report on what the hell happened on the other side on my desk by tomorrow morning... But don't sw*COUGH COUGHAHCH* Mmm...Don't sweat it bro... We can handle what ever this shit thing is first." Several view screens sprung to life before Mysterio, granting him multiple view points to watch the battle. Finishing his cig in one long breath, Mysterio would toss the butt aside and grabbed the controls, giving them a few test shots to make sure everything was still working."Groovy...."
It seemed the palace had been reduced to a utter shitshow, as Veca would silently follow behind the large mech that Mysterio had deployed. He never really was one to hold back when it came to grandioso displays such as this one. The female android initially had something to say, but remained silent as she prepared for battle.

"that's not an angeru." Dio blinked as he saw the giant God damned Gundam burst into the scene, though soon afterwards he'd be sitting on its shoulder anyway. Apparently upon coming back to Erisia, the trickster had regained his insane speed. "isn't this a little overkill? ah whatever it's not like it's stronger than you'd be, mystery, my boi."
The Devil looked around at the other person who arrived... or well, he supposed neither of these things were actually people. He snorted softly as he jumped down onto the ground right in front of the entrance with a surprisingly soft landing and pointed towards the destroyed door to the castle. "and whaaaat was behind door number one??"
What came from the entrance was the sudden outline of a red fist surging towards Dio's head, which the Devil expertly dodged simply by moving his body right back next to Samael and snorting. The assailant growled in annoyance before glaring ahead with its twisted, crimson eyes. A mane of blood-red hair fell over the creature's humanoid body but still allowed clear sight of his angular incredibly human-looking face... though, the fact that his eyes were entirely red, as if a vein had burst inside them, quickly put aside this initial assumption. The thing stood upright and cocked its head back with a twisted grin and raised its blood-soaked arm towards the challengers.
-Primordial Fragment :: Ἀνάγκη-
"HaH, FUcKiNg scAREDYCAt! cOmE oN, MaKe thIs fUN FOR Me, WoN'T Ya?! litTLE bItCHes LIKe yOu aIn't worTH MorE THAn That, Eh bLONdY?!" It wasn't entirely clear what he was talking about, but one thing was for sure, the Primordial wasn't exactly there. His eyes were out of focus, but then again so was his entire body. He glitched and jerked while screaming obscenities at the top of his lungs to some woman that was clearly not there, before shifting back into insults that sounded like they were directed at the people in front of him.
"what a little baby." Dio snorted and made a swiping motion towards his front. What came about from this action was a short scythe made out of the same texture that had formed his Shin Monado Tensei back in the Azores Core. It should have been easy for Samael to recognize it, at least. "alright, partner, whenever you're ready."

A lone food stall was being pushed through the streets of Parangelia.
The man huffed and puffed as the contraption caught on the pavement every couple of steps. He had to go though, see what was happenin'. He had a feeling roaring deep in his gut that there was something bad and that the others were already there. He knew where he was going, shootin' straight for da castle.
Ironfist burst through the torn structure, landing with his hot-dog stand in tow and throwing it into the ground. Strangely, it remained in one piece despite the ground literally shaking from the impact. Ironfist landed on the top of it, immediately registering the rest of his class (plus an additional profesorial entity in the form of dat one guy he got drunk and high with that one time). He had a big ass robot. Heh. Oh, and there was a redheaded punk. Looked pretty damn suspicious, he did!
Hand clenched into a fist, he grinned and held it before his face. Straightening the fingers, Ironfist let out a short chuckle, speaking in his booming voice.
While Samael expected to take on the thread with just him and Dio alone, those who came along were a welcome addition. Especially of that Mysterio. While being a crazy kook, the Wild Card had to admit, he sure can build things. An impressed whistle escaped him, that sure looked reliable, and hopefully it'd be of use of the incoming battle. And of course, there was one last person who'd join them as the red-headed abnormality presented himself to the group. He pointed a thumb at Ananke? while addressing Iron Fist, "We're about to tango with this guy, mind joining in?"
Of course, he would. This was their home and they weren't going to lose it without a fight.

The Fragment pointed its finger at one of the members of the party and grinned wildly. A mark that seemed made of pure blood suddenly grew on their neck, like an unwarranted tattoo, and pulsated with a heavy aura. Ἀνάγκη spoke cleanly and with purpose, unlike every other phrase had had uttered before.

Heeding Mysterio's command the A2 combined it's two rifles into one. Readying itself for the coming battle... Then there was the command.... Heh... this just got fun. Mysterio would chuckle behind his controls as he got out a pen and pad of paper to start working on the description.
Skill 1: Static Shock | 10% (20% with single target skills) chance of inflicting a zio ailment with each zio skill used. Not effective against opponents that are strong/block/ etc zio. May cause static shock that makes your next attack a guaranteed critical if a physical attack. Wears off the opponent's next turn. Effects do not stack. | Passive | Tier 1
Skill 5: Daredevil | Increases User's Critical Hit rate by 30%, however user has an extra 30% chance of being critically hit. | Passive | Tier 3
Human Skill Name: Charge me up. Shadow Name: Tesla Tier: Tier 1 Cost: 8sp Type of Damage: N/A Description: Mysterio lets out a dry laugh as he hooks his electro gun directly into his spear cannon to create an electrically charged rifle. These two pieces of equipment can only be connected for so long before a feedback loop would fry Tesla. In practice, this move changes all of Mysterio's Pierce based moves into Lighting based for 3 turns (Note: Chance to crit still remains)
Chaotic Soul | Appears as a small skull charm that simply showed up hanging on Samael's neck one morning after a strange event. Raises HP by 10%, has the potential to evolve. | Accessory

"Aye, of course." Ironfist smacked his fists against his chest. He looked at the form of the being so impolite as to intrude into their world.
He held the locket he'd gotten from that girl in his fist as it burst into flames. Noticeably denting even the mighty hot-dog stand's roof with the sheer strength of his willpower, he pushed himself off it, jumped and attempted to slam the blazing fist straight into the bastard's distorted face.

How dare you disrespect both me and the ingredient by being imprudent and lazy in delivering your task? Flunked!" —Description: Attention to detail, attention to detail... It's usually a good thing, but apparently not when you are dealing with an overly-exhuberant, hot-blooded teacher. Is ir really staggering what little, tiny, meaningless things can make a difference between a pass and a fail in his eyes, while some other, much more important aspects, just fly over his head like they are mere trifles that should not be bothered with. Heh... Try not to get too annoyed as he evaluates your fighting style DURING BATTLE. When lecturing someone in battle, he divides his full attention to it, and loses a turn, which will pretty much be whenever one of his students misses a target, or gets critted, and also in several other situation depending on who does what and how. ("Nonono! You're doing it all wrong! Your leg should go above your arm, not the other way around! And to show you just how serious I am, and how big of an mistake you have done, I am going to write it under your permanent record! Hmpf!")
