| Louie Mantle Quote/ETC. Here
The Biography
|
Birth Name: Louis Mantle Aliases: Captain Killjoy, Louie, heather Gender: Male Age: 16 Birth Day: 7-14 Arcana: Hermit Place of Residence: Little Tokyo Evoker: Mental Shackles Academy Semester: third year Class: (We'll fill this in once you're approved. This will be your class in school)
Sorority: Student Council
Part/Full Time Job: none
Appearance: Louie At an impressive 6’0 and weighing 176 lbs , louie would be towering over most people his age, except for one major detail. Louie has no nerval control of his lower body, and as a result he’s bound to a wheelchair. Louis possesses medium length blond hair with dark brown eyes. His usual attire is what you would expect of a suburban dad, sweater vest, khakis, the occasional cardigan, and a nice sweater. Most people would find his attire goofy, if his face wasn’t so stern all the time. On special occasions like really fancy parties or celebrations or such his attire leads to a more classy tone, something like a tux or suit, but nothing that would call attention to himself. His wheelchair is a standard wheelchair, nothing special on it, but it is noted that Louis is slightly larger than the wheelchair, giving him a slightly squashed look. Body wise, His arms are riddled with muscle, and even though his legs are muscular, they aren’t as muscular as his legs. His torso isn’t that muscular at all, and he’s growing a bit off a belly, an insecurity he tries to hide.
- Spoiler:
Alternate Appearance: When he transformed, Louie’s wheelchair transforms into a chariot esque vehicle, which can move without any hands like it was motorized. The speed of the chariot chair can go up to the speed of a light jog, so it gives him some more mobility than if he was his normal walk. Louie himself dons black armor with gold highlights, and a small circlet on his head. The armor is reminiscent of a medieval time, something a high ranking knight or a king would don.
- appearance :
Personality: Louie has what’s commonly known as a constant RBF. With a cold demeanor at all times to anyone around him, he gives off the impression of a grumpy old man who would curse you to get off his lawn. At a first glance he seems like an asshole, but to be honest,, he kind of is. Louis puts business first, and is a no nonsense person when it comes to said business, the student council. He usually ignores most attempts of socialization towards him. The few exceptions are almost exclusively related to schoolwork, student council, or to put it simply, if it doesn’t have anything to do with him, he’s not interested. Even if it doesn’t seem like it, Louis really does care about others, and is by no means selfish. His main priority is the well being of the students, including their safety and general morale.
His relationships with people are rather, distanced with others. With such an imposing look on his face, it’s hard for people to come up to him. When working with others however, he tends to show a little more personality. It may take a long time for Louis to really get “comfortable” around someone, he never really relaxes around them. Even with close friends Louie’s always on his guard. Although, every blue moon he tries to crack a joke, but they usually end up as horrible dad joke. He’s put on such a serious side to himself that it became more natural for him to stay serious then to relax. He used to be not so grumpy, but due to his recent injury which caused his disability, he’s formed a rather bitter outlook on life. He knows how unfair the world is and refuses to put on an optimistic outlook. “Why would I do something so stupid as that?” he would say if asked to cheer up or something along that line. He actually became more serious and reserved due to what had happened to him (see history for more detail)

The Background
|
History: Louie wasn’t always in his wheelchair, or for that matter always so bitter. He wasn’t the most cheerful person growing up, he knew some of the stuff that the world did, like kill cows and pigs. Nevertheless he still tended to look on the bright side of things. He grew up with his father in a small apartment building in Vista square. Louie's mother had left them when he was just a toddler, with his father having full custody of him. Since his mother left so early in his life, Louis had hardly any memories or feelings about her, leaving him to feel pretty indifferent about her absence.
His father on the other hand, took the separation not as well. He maintained a cheery demeanor the first couple of years after the divorce, but soon began to take a more serious approach to parenthood. He began to be much more critical of Louie. His grades, behavior, athletics, more or less everything he did. The constant beat downs his father would give him slowly turned that smile upside down, and it showed outside of the house. At school he slowly became antisocial and choleric, albeit his grades did improve immensely and he started working out constantly.
By his freshman year, he became the kind of person people looked up to. That one student who was athletic and good grades; he seemed like the whole package. This just agitated him even more then before. Even though he was generally respected by his peers, and even a few upperclassmen, Louis was still bitter. It never seemed to be enough for his father. For every "good job kiddo" or "You did good", there seemed to be two "why can't you be like so and so" or "You're such a failure" thrown his way.
Louie began to slip. He started to be harsh to the people around him, and generally became a dick. One night at the end of his sophomore year when driving down from the east eden from an errand, he was hit by another car. Louis was speeding out of frustration because he had a particularly heated argument with his father, and wasn't paying attention to anything. He went flying out of the car and crashed into a tree.
When he woke up next, it was in a bed by himself. The doctor was next to him and explained that he no longer had control of his lower body because his spine had had the hardest impact. The next few months for recovery were rough. He spent most of his time trying to get used to the wheelchair, but the only thing on his mind more was on how his father was going to react. He hadn't bothered to call or even check on how louie was, and for all he knew, his father had no idea what had happened to him. Instead, Louie was moved over a sort of sister ward in Little Tokyo for recovering patients who needed help with activities, such as amputees and such.
