Reddening Pill: A strange palm-sized orb that, while mostly transparent, has vaguely visible blotches of red scattered across it. Its origin is of a dubious nature and for some reason your skin crawls at the mere sight of it, but the woman selling them claims that many demons find them to be a delicious treat, though she cautions against ingesting them yourself. By offering them to a demon of up to three levels higher than you, you may engage them in negotiation as if you were the same level. The Red Pill does not cost an action on its own and is instead spent during the turn where you attempt to negotiate with one of the demons. If the negotiation attempt fails then the demon will return to its previous attitude and refuse to talk with you further regardless of how many of the treats you offer it, so make the most of the opportunity while you can! Blueish Pill: A strange palm-sized orb that, while mostly transparent, has vaguely visible blotches of blue scattered across it. They're strangely similar to the other pills you noticed were for sell. They can be offered during demon negotiations as a substitute for giving up a percentage of HP/SP and if done will have a 50% chance of pleasing the demon enough to move things onto the next stage of negotiation. Beware; while normally demons will just rerequest the HP/SP from before if the item fails, some might lose interest in continuing to talk with you and even potentially lash out in anger. Forgotten can also feed them to their Demon/Shadow Weapons as an emergency ration and by doing so can restore their SP by 35 points. - 5x - 500 VC

Spectacles of the Arcana: Equip item worn on the head. They appear to be normal glasses, but upon touching them you can feel them pulse with mystical power. If you have a Demon Shard with you then you can unlock their true potential by expending it. The shard will be shattered in the process and you will be required to choose a single arcana for the item to target, allowing you to perceive a specific kind of foe's spiritual shortcomings, and thereby deal 10% extra damage against any enemies that fall under that arcana as long as you have the glasses equipped. Once you pick it, however, it cannot be changed and the Spectacles of the Arcana's name will be altered to reflect their new nature. So, for example, if you decided on the Fool, they'd become the Spectacles of the Fool. [Only used in PvS Phase Combat.] - 5x - 2000 VC
