Welcome to the Fool's Facade!



WHAT IS THIS?

At this shop, Users have the ability to modify their uniforms (government or terrorist) and add whatever bonuses they’d like to it. For example, you could add the ability to resist fire by 20% to your gloves, or maybe enhance your speed by 10% with your boots, and so on and so forth. Let your imagination run wild here!



WHAT DOES IT COST?

The Fool’s Façade is willing to cater to anyone who needs their service, provided they provide the correct materials and a nominal fee.



WHERE DO I GET MATERIALS?

Materials can be won after successfully defeating enemies in dungeons. You are also free to purchase/sell them at The Fool’s Façade.



WAIT, I CAN SELL MATERIALS?

Yes! The items you sell to the shop will be placed in our inventory for other members to purchase.

Each material are given a tier from 1 to 4. There is a base list of how much they cost below:

Cost:

• Tier 1: 625 VC
  
• Tier 2: 1250 VC
  
• Tier 3: 2500 VC
  
• Tier 4: 5000 VC
  

You are allowed an opportunity to bargain the prices with Paige. Make a thread in the Velvet Commodities to do so, with [Bargaining] in the thread title. Non-Persona Users (Shadow Selves, Nyarlathotep Children, Rogues, and Forgottens) can contact Paige through her brother's phone (Alexander).

The amount of how much you can increase depends on your current Charisma Rank. You are given 300 VC per rank, where you can haggle up to an additional 300 VC at Rank 1 to 1500 VC at Rank 5. However, for each additional rank you are pursuing to haggle for, you need an equal number of reasons why it should be sold for a higher price with 1 reason to 5 reasons accordingly.

But remember, you have a total of three chances to convince Paige. Each chance you waste is 300 VC lower than you initially tried to bargain for. But once you use up your third chance, you will only get half the base price of your material. Where you failed completely for a 5k VC material, you get 2.5K VC instead.

But remember, any sold materials will cost double the price when anyone tries to buy them.

HOW DO I USE THE SHOP?

• When you have an idea for an accessory, fill out a commission form (which can be found HERE)

• The Moderators will review your request and then post back the required materials needed to construct said item and how much it will cost.

• When you have acquired the set number of items and saved your money, post back in your commission thread with a link to your compendium.

• The Moderators will check to make sure you have the required materials, then approve your transaction. Congratulations! You are then free to use the item as you wish.


KNOWN MATERIALS BY ELEMENT/COMPONENT

**NOTE**

Your modified outfit will count as an accessory for either your head, feet, hands, or body. This means you cannot, for instance, craft a pair of socks and wear them at the same time as those Tearless Loafers you bought the other day. Your modified armor/accessories must be used the same way as any other item.
