Subject: An Unusual Night [Nomine's/Susan's Awakening] Mon Apr 17, 2017 2:15 pm
It was a regular night across the Garden Path of SunLake Palms...Everything was quiet, and nary a soul was within the garden that night. The cool night wind blew across the empty area, being the only sound that could actually be heard inside of it. Just why was the garden so empty however? Those who happened to be wandering around it may or may find out this night.

"Hmmm..."
That was odd, very odd, extremely odd if she was to be so just to point out. Yes, yes quite odd indeed nothing seemed to make sense about it. There was no way she could of been so wrong about the sudden change, there was just no denying how odd it was. As if everything had suddenly gone black for a moment then the world was on highly slanted stilts. She could of sworn the way out of the gardens was right here. Yet there was a stupid fence in the way! Why would you have a path that lead to a dead ended fence! The symbolical sense of the path being obligated to parallel itself in a fashion to appease the screwed up guy who decided that everything had to be exactly just right or he'd have a mental break down yet didn't consider the fact that ya know fences exist in this plain of direction to block all feasible use of anything he set out to create in the first place.
Nominé would turn around and huff, considering using her scissors to cut through the fence and just leave. But then she'd end up being fined or some shit, urgh, what a drag. Where the hell was everyone else anyway? There wasn't even any people about for her to complain her woes to. Sheesh, this place sucked at night.

It was a quiet night like most tended to be in Sunlake Palms. Susan would exhale gently, enjoying her brisk walk in the cool air. She had grown bored of lying in bed and thought that some mediocre exercise could help give her something to do. Plus, she could text her friends if she saw something interesting or the likes. It was simply a good idea.
She’d eventually walk her way past the Garden Path, nary a thought crossing her head as she did so. But, something caught her attention. She’d look up and back at the entrance, a small tilt to her head. It was unusually quiet for being what it was. Sure, people didn’t often go there at night… But you could usually hear bugs or birds or even mice skittering around to try and find some wayward seeds. There was simply nothing making any noise there… And it intrigued her enough to enter the dark space of the garden without a single word.

"Got all the supplies together. Fairly quiet tonight... Think the demons are out on the prowl tonight?" "Doubtlessly. We must hurry on our way to East Eden. Batilde is likely expecting us."
Passing silently through the streets of an eerily quiet Sunlake Palms, Lui shuffled along the sidewalk as fast as he could. He recalled how Batilde planned on talking Lui to go train on some demons. He kept his gaze focused on his feet as he made sure no Cadets could question why he was outside. He recalled the interesting folk he met this afternoon, including the attention-starved artist Susan and the "Lady of the Trimming Shears" herself, Nomine. The two were fairly easy to sway and unique company to keep, so making friends with them should be a cinch. Maybe he could benefit from their companionship in the form of hair styling and more awareness brought to the club.
Lui's eyes flickered over to the garden to notice two girls standing in the silent grove. This concerned Lui; on the one hand, they could be normal students who could be set upon by a demon at any time. On the other, they could very well be Cadets. Either way, Lui would keep walking to the outskirts of Sunlake Palms, looking back at times to see if the girls would still be alright...

As the party remained inside the garden path...They would begin to hear an unusual rustling coming from the garden around them out of nowhere, almost as if they had triggered something or alerted something that was lurking across the path. The wind would continue to howl as the air remained pretty much the same. However if they group listened carefully they would hear a distinct and strange giggling coming from around them... Just what were they in for right now? Followed by more rustling of the various plants around them.

"Hm? Mayhaps these paths habit people after all..." Nominé would think to herself as she'd notice the rustling of the foliage around her, rustling back and forth in such a way that wouldn't be natural for the wind to impersonate. Oddly enough though, it appeared that it wasn't from just one area that the rustling came from... Strange, going from no one to so many, what kind of games were being played here. "Ay! If you're laughing at me for going the wrong way I swear to the stars!" She'd suddenly call out after hearing the mocking laughter coming from behind the vegetation. She'd point her scissors in front of her, wanting to threaten whoever thought they had the right to tease her in such a way a lesson.
"Show yourself, you whimpy lil' peach tilting puzelknucks!"

With steady steps, Susan would carefully walk forward into the garden. She'd look around with nary a word, humming gently as she looked to find some sort of noise. She'd blink gently as she heard a rustling noise behind her, a quick and sharp turn causing her to stumble back a little. What was that? Who was there? These thoughts coursed through her mind before she heard the giggling. She'd gasp gently, taking careful steps backwards away from where she perceived the source even though it was dawning on her that the laughs were surrounding her.
She'd hear a shout disrupting the terrifying noise, an eager sigh of relief escaping her as she turned to walk towards the annoyed sounding voice. With a careful step forward, she'd finally see Nomine in full sight. They had met before, and it was nice to see a familiar face now. It relieved if not for just a moment.
"Nomie? Is that you? Goodness... Do you know what's happening here?" she'd ask in her signature charming voice, but a hint of fear hid within it. She wasn't exactly enjoiying whatever was happening here... And she simply wanted to leave but... Where was the exit at now?

"Wait, those girls look familiar. They- oh no. I recognize those two. Is that Susan? And she's with...Nomine?! What are they doing out here at night? Well, should be fine so long as there's no-" Just as Lui ended the thought, he felt the wind blaze through the area. And was that... giggling? Unless one of the girls was finding the event particularly humorous instead of ominous, that was certainly cause for concern. Keeping quiet and sticking to his surroundings, Lui followed the two down the path until reaching the dead end. He laid low behind a large, sprawling tree, his rapier summoned to his side and his mask carefully cradled in his hand. Should anything attempt to ambush them, it would be on him to don the mask and sprint into the fray. Now, where was the giggling coming from...?

The giggling would begin to get closer and closer as the party seemed to get together. As the night poured on, the three would see a small fairy like figure approach them from seemingly out of nowhere. It appeared like a small caucasian woman in a blue unitard, just flapping right before them.
Teehee!Teehee!
The fairy like creature continued to giggle before them in a rather eerie way, before actually speaking. Lets play a game! I spy with my little eye!The little fairy would point at each one of the humans before it, three little humans that think their cute and sly! As the fairy said this, more giggling from the area around them would be noticabley hearable, the little insect like flapping of wings could be heard too. As the fairy that was in front of them began to noticabley glow with an electric like aura too it. Sowwy humans, but you have to die now!
What would the group do?What would Susan and Nomine do now? Would they stand idle and succumb to the strange gathering of fairies? Or overcome them by some unusual means....

"Quiet Susan."
Nominé would stare forward through squinted eyes to try and make out where this infernal giggling was coming from her distaste for whomever was mocking her far out beat any curiosities she may of held for Susan to suddenly arrive. No child was going to mock her like this! How dare they think they were the tree's fleas and above it all to stroll all over her for such a insignificant mistake. These stupid kids and thei---
"What in the flip flapping nuckfuts are these freakish stalker pixie things?"
The stylist would raise an eyebrow, clearly not impressed by what she saw as the weird fairytale thing began talking, its voice was annoying. It's face was annoying. The fact it was still mocking her was annoying. "AY! I told you to stop fecking laughing at me! Now shut your whore mouth you demented brat!" She'd shout at it as it kept talking, not wanting to hear another word come out of its stupid little mouth. She'd have been pointing her scissors at the wretched creature the entire time from when it appeared until now as a weird energy started building up around the flittering blue tit.
For a moment, Nominé would drop her hand back down to her side, her head would fall forwards slightly as a curious feeling flooded her very being and made her whole body tingle with excitement. She'd begin grinning to herself, an almost crazed giggle forming from the back of her throat. She would see the bounds of chain that held her hands together for the first time. The stupid chains that held everyone in place and denied them from living free, but not anymore. With one quick motion, Nominé would rip her hands apart from one another, shattering the very link that held her down before. The rush of something new filled her with a feeling of euphoria before a small, tattered looking black bunny appeared in front of the stylist.
"Oooehehe, can we burn some fairies, huh? Can we, can we, can we!? Coommmm'aaannnn, ya know you totally want to!" The stuffed looking persona would call out excitedly, too into the mood of anger and hate that Nominé was feeling towards these stupid pixie things to offer a proper formal greeting quite yet. It would spin on the spot before eyeing the demon with the same cold blooded stare that Nominé was now giving it before beginning to light up with a bright orange flame.
"Any other way would be a dishonest approach to my burning appreciation of their ever disposable joy and laughter."

"W-What?"
A look of shock would cross the girl's face as Nomine's harsh words were pointed at her. She wasn't used to being talked to like that, and the shock broke her normally perfect composure. She'd stay silent though, allowing the pixie to appear in front of the two. It's cuteness and giggles scared her, though. The mere presence of such a creature was impossible yet it entirely was thanks tp the terrible events that happened not but a few years ago.
"N-No way... This c-can't be happening..." she'd say in a panicked whisper, her heart pounding in her chest as she witnessed the electric aura surround the fae. She couldn't breathe, the thought of death and dying now terrified her. She accomplished nothing, nothing at all. How could someone like her leave a lasting impact on the world if her death was by the hands of a petty shadow! She'd be like multiple mindless faces flooding the morgues and cemeteries, nothing but lowly demon fodder. It forced tears into her eyes, the thoughts consuming her until a voice painfully pushed itself into her head.
"I feel your want to be noticed... To be the true Center of the World. But, can you truly be noticed when shackled the way you are? You are but another slave to this world's imperfect ideals."
She'd clutch her head with a hand, the pain unbearable as a second form intruded her one private area. It felt foreign, dangerous, unwanted. But at the same time it felt like her desires, her wants, her ideals. It was everything she was but more. It forced its way forcefully into her mind as Susan finally noticed the shackles that bound her wrists. This didn't make sense, it scared her... But, it made her grin as tears fell down her face. She couldn't die here, not by the hands of suck imperfect creatures. No, she'd aid in their destruction and prove to the world she was different that the dull slaves that infected it. She was worth more than that, so much more than that.
"How would one call this...? I dare say... A revelation! Come! My true self!"
She'd shout out, tearing her hands away from eachother as the shackles shattered like glass. Her persona would appear behind her, a beautiful picture of a blonde haired girl. However, the picture would shatter outward, the painted girl stepping out and surrounding Susan and herself with yellow roses. Her actions seemed perfect, ideal even. There wasn't a fault in her presentation at all.
Susan would hold up her right hand, a mask in it now. She'd grin as she put it on, her entire form changing as she became the ideal image of the true Center of the World. She'd smile happily, her cape blowing in the wind gently. With another calculated movement, she'd bring her soul bound weapon to her side. She was ready to prove that she was worth more than the slaves she entranced daily.
"Hm hm... This power is increadible! Mary Sue, let's show them them true perfection!"

Pixies? These fairies look pretty tame compared to the monsters of Lui's first fight. Either way, the echoing of laughter indicated that there were more creeping sprites elsewhere. The demon's comment of three humans forced Lui to roll out of his cover and run to the aid of the panicking girls. Recognizing the threat, Lui slapped the mask onto his face, letting the armor slide out from under his face and cover his body. Blade in hand, Lui sprinted into the battle, situating himself in front of the girls as they struggled, likely fighting for their new powers. Once the two had recovered with their new masks in place, the knight figure would look back, smiling under the mask.
"So you have awakened to your power as well? Excellent. Time for a crash course in combat, I suppose. Now, come to me, Shirokishi!"
At his command, a blanket of fog hovered above Lui's head as the slithering knight emerged from the cloud. The air around him appeared to become frigid as the armor of both Lui and Shirokishi seemed to be coated in a thin layer of ice.
"At your request, milord. Demons of the night, your deaths shall be swift!"

As the girls brought forth their personas, some kind of force would push back and stagger the Pixies for a moment, giving the trio an opening to act.
"E-eek! What's with these kids?!"
Both Susan and Nomine would see a gun sliding towards them, even if they looked around they would be unable to find the origin of the weapons.
Spoiler:
Susan and Nomine get their guns and 10 bullets. You may now act.

"Any other way would be a dishonest approach to my burning appreciation of their ever disposable joy and laughter."
As she spoke, with a creeping grin on her face Nominé would lift forth her scissors to her face, opening the blades wide as she summoned both her soul bound weapon and outfitted her new masked appearance all in one motion. Ooohhahah! She'd always wondered how she'd look as a brunet... Everything about this seemed perfect to the crazed stylist, an over confident smirk would arise as she brushed her newly fashioned hair behind her shoulders.
"Wadda'ya waitin' for Bunbuns, let's roast these nuckfuts."
"Oi! Ma name's May Hare you dwit! N' Don'ya forget it! Oooehehe, I'll gladly turn up the heat though!"
