Trivial Things [Ken]

The night prior, Akira had went through the trial of becoming a cadet, and after being accepted she slept until the afternoon, waking up to a text from a certain boy asking if they were both still going to hang out. She had completely let it slip her mind, but made her way to the strip to meet up with him. Even if she didn't quite like hanging out with people, she thought it was proper to push her limits and allow herself to make friends with others. Ken and her agreed to light window shopping, which wasn't too bothersome. She had also mentioned an antique shop that she had been dying to set foot in. After making her way to said shop, she'd wait outside for the boy to arrive; using her phone to text him that she had arrived and to distract herself from the people walking by.

Kenneth had texted Akira that day prior if they were still hanging out. While Kenneth was not the best at reading social cues, he figured to atleast poke at her to see if they were still going to do something. He was already on his way over there when Kenneth recieved the text that akira had arrived directly at the strip mall where they were going to hang out. With that, he would begin to hurry his way over there, it wasn't really polite to be late when you invited someone out somewhere in the first place to begin with. He was dressed in his usual clothing that wasn't really any different from what Akira had seen him wear before when she met him. Walking inside the mall, he would eventually find Akira. Hey Akira. I made it!So, you wanna go to this antique store first?The boy offered, opting to get things started.

Akira looked up from her phone, smiling at the boy who had arrived. If he noticed, she wore the same outfit almost everyday, which was her school uniform. It suited her personality, and it made her feel a bit more confident than normal clothes did. She nodded at his comment, opening the door to the building she was leaning on, leading the boy inside. "I've wanted to come in here for a long time but I've always been too busy." She took in the store, noting that it smelled very stale; the air tasting like a basement. It was most definitely all the stone that was scattered around the shop. "How have you been by the way?" She moved while talking, glancing over the objects on the table closest to the door. 'Over there.' The small voice of her persona rang in her head as she found herself looking at a fountain made out of rocks; the water flowing down from the top then getting refiltered to do the entire thing again. She moved over to it, running her hand on it. She saw small markings on it, most being carvings of the crescent moon and a few jade rabbits. She smiled while running her hand on it, looking back at the boy she came in with, keeping her hands on the fountain. "You'll never guess what happened to me."
