Lui Gets Groovy [Case 11 - Let's Dance Mission]

After hearing about the "Everyday Idol" event going on at the House of Cards, Lui jumped off his bed, put his glasses away in exchange for his contacts, and made his way through the mad crowds of Suzie Q. He found his way into the House of Cards and searched for the idol.
"I didn't figure you for the dancing type. Are you sure about this?"
"Look, I'm not completely inept. Fencing keeps me fairly quick on my feet, and I can read a person's movements just fine. We get a backup dancer to help, y'know?"

"Hey, are you the one in charge of the "Everyday Idol" event? I'm here to participate. Name's Lui Saito. So, what's going on?"

When the volunteer arrived, Katty was pretty noticeable near the front entrance of the club, waving everyone in before noticing them arrive. She immediately moved to grab them by their hand and pull them to the side. "Good good, you made it! Alright, you go stand there, I'll get the music going! Once your dancer gets here she'll start to dance. Just pick the movement that works best with her." She said, directing them to a nearby smaller platform that had a small crowd forming in front of it. She would also hand them a small slip that had info on the dancer that they would be with for a bit. Once they stepped on, the music would play and a young woman would approach them on the platform.

Fancy Pom Pom! She likes everyone dancing in uniform! She hands you your own set of pom poms to use!

She thrusts her arms out to the crowd before spreading them apart, you...

"A-a cheerleader?! She's partnering me with a cheerleader? Gah, so much for wanting to be recognized..."
Watching the little blue-haired cheerleader approach the stage, Lui conferred with Shiro for a second.
"How will you approach this? Sumi did cheerleading before; anything you suggest doing?"
"Well, it says she likes everyone "dancing in uniform". I'm obviously NOT wearing one of those uniforms, so it might suggest uniform motion. Cheerleaders do tend to move in unison or with each other, so if I try mimicking her, it should work. If not, I'll need to adapt..."

She throws her pom poms to the crowd and jumps over them as they hold her up! You...

"Quiet, you. I'm living it up right now. Just move with confidence and nobody can tell the diff- wait, is she crowdsurfing?!"
"Right after throwing away her poms... Heh, a true test of trust. Would they bother trying to let you surf as well? You're not exactly-"
"Shut up! I'm doing it!"

The crowd loves it! Pom Pom high fives you and thanks you before she eventually leaves when the song ends...

After the dance, Katty would run down the steps and grab Lui's hand and shake it quickly. "Good work! You got perfect marks! I might hold another one again soon, so be sure to stop by. You could be our next new idol if you keep trying!" So saying she handed him a small bag of sweets before waving sweetly at him before running into the crowd happily. The crowd seemed to enjoy it a lot the way they clapped for Lui after the fact up until whenever he chose to leave.

Rewards:

After receiving the approval of the young cheerleader and the prize from Katty, Lui waved and high-fived the fans around him while making his way out of the club. He opened the bag and sampled one of the sweets as Shiro returned to the forefront of his mind.
"Next idol, eh? You considering taking her up on that offer?"
"Wouldn't hurt. Heh, so turns out I can pull off this idol thing."
"A thought occurs. Didn't Sumi say her friends would be watching the event?"
... Oh. You're right. ...Oh dear, I'll be hearing about this forever. Might as well have another treat..."
