Lui delved further into the relationship these two were performing. While both appear to benefit from the initial interaction, Susan's comment on wanting to see his club flourish sent the message that there was an ulterior motive. It was less of a focus on the club and more a focus on him. The two were leading each other on, becoming like parasites who used each other to flourish while trying to overpower the other. Nevertheless, a connection is a connection. So long as Lui kept her close and their accomplishments tied to each other, both would benefit and Lui would walk away with what he wanted.

"You're quite the encourager. Tell me, do you see yourself as a leader? If so, lead your club well. I want to see it grow into something fruitful."
"In a sense. I have the most experience among the group and manage the club affairs, so it does befit my title as captain. Confidence is a rare commodity, thus lowering how many true leaders we can have. But yeah, I hope to see it improve so that I can leave it in the charge of another when I leave. If it benefits you as well, then why not kill two birds with one art piece?"

"I suppose we'll see each other tomorrow then, yes? Until then, goodbye Lui."
"Tata, then. Enjoy your day, Susan."

As Susan turned down another street, Lui expression returned to a contemplative smile as he wandered back down the sidewalk.
"I couldn't help but note the tension between the two of you. So, is she a friend or foe?"
"Eh, either or. She's looking for a source of her creative energy, so let her have a little. Then, while she rides the current, we'll be riding on the rope tied to her ankle and reap the benefit of a friend in a high place."
"You're becoming quite the parasite, Lui.
"Heh, looks like I'm not the only one... I'll need to get ready; the dance is just beginning..."
