Pepper Tech [Callie]

"This way, that way, over here and passed that bin. Turn right, straight here, by that mailbox that has no front. Around the corner, past the lamp post and beside this tree I remember!" The girl would giggle lightly to herself as she found her mental mapping of the area by marking off seemingly random objects along her path had actually worked in leading her back to Zavie's home much faster than it usually took her to find the place. She'd nod happily at one of the boys many cats that was seemingly sitting guard by the entrance of the ally she'd been down a few times now to get to the side of Zavie's window.


"Hey kitties, you remember me by now right?" She'd say cheerfully, leaning over to pet a few of the closer cats heads. "You know the drill! Hehe, can one of you be so kind as to tell Zavie I'm here for me? Pretty please?" She didn't want to just wander up to his window without him knowing she was here after all, even with warning last time he'd forgotten to hide certain things away. Callie wasn't entirely sure what he could be doing that'd be that bad... But it was still better to be safe than sorry and have him be mad at her for appearing at a bad time.

With a bright smile on her face, Callie would nod appreciatively to the one cat who decided not to be a complete lazy bum and go tell Zavie her message that she was here. The girl would watch it as it jumped from one place to another, seemingly taking the most efficient path to get the top that they must've used countless times by now... She half wondered if she could take the same path... Yet some of those jumps were pretty far, plus she weighed a lot more than a cat and that railing didn't look like the sturdiest piece of, uh... Metal in the world.

"Heeeeeeeey~!" The young vixen would call back, deciding that taking the faster path probably wouldn't be worth it and began climbing up the usual way she had done before. "A present? Ooohhh! What kind of present! Is it something big or small? Is it a toy? Maybe a box of chocolates! Or in fact... Wait, no, no! You didn't get me something to do with what we were doing today right!?" She'd question, gasping with excitement at the idea of what it could be. "How did you manage to get enough money for that!?" It must've costed him sooo much to get her something like that! She really didn't understand how he would of been able to! "You got me a box of phone shaped chocolates that'll help me learn about how to use phones! ... Right?"

Callie would climb in through the window laughing at herself from the silly suggestions she was making before gasping at the actual thing Zavie had gotten her. "Whaaaat! You got me my own phone!? No way! I've never had one of my own before... What if I don't learn how to use it properly! O-or break it by accident! Does the fox charm keep it save?" The girl would giggle again, this time showing clear signs she was messing around instead of being serious. The girl would skip happily over to where Zavie was sitting before giving him a quick hug as thanks. "That's super kind of you though! Thanks Zav~! You always know the kinda things I like to make it prettier too!"

She'd sit down beside Zavie and kick her feet slightly, excited about seeing the phone and trying to learn how to make it work. She was having a hard time sitting comfortably with her tail wanting to wag with excitement... She wondered if he minded her not hiding it away in his room like last time, but didn't want to risk anything. "That sounds awesome! Be super useful to find out where ya are too if I come looking for you but you're not home!" She'd say with a bright smile. "So! Where do we start?"

"Uh, huh! I'll be sure to always keep it safe in my pocket when I'm not using it! So I don't put it down somewhere then forget it or something worse! Cause that'd really suck if that happened, hehe." Callie would giggle happily as she made a mental note that she had to always remember the phone! No matter where she was going or what she was doing it was not to be off her person! The young vixen would watch Zavie intently as he showed her how to unlock the phone and make it work, she hoped that it wouldn't get too complicated... She was never very good at following things like this, yet usually that was because she tended to lose focus and stop paying attention. She'd have to try extra hard to listen properly this time around!

"Oh you put all your numbers in there already? Awesome!" She'd nod happily, taking note of the button that made the calls happen, she'd take a moment to look at the list of names that Zavie would show her that appeared on the screen... Despite her age and the fact that she really should know how to read things by this point in her life, she still struggled to make out what each of the names that were displayed were... She couldn't even tell which one was 8D! She knew what 8D's name looked like written down, but Zavie had put it in as Grins so it wasn't as easy... "Okay, cool! U-uhm... Quick question though. W-which one of these is which person? Eheh..." She'd ask embarrassedly, blushing lightly at the stupidity of the question. "I'm guessing that one is your parents number because it has the long name!... R-right?"

Regardless, Callie would watch as Zavie demonstrated what would happen when she did try to call someone and how her herself would be able to answer or ignore a call if someone called her. She'd nod happily at this, just press the green one for answer and red one for nope! That was easy enough. S-she really needed to learn how to at least read their names though. "Uh-huh! That part sounds easy enough to understand. W-why would a bad guy try to call me though?" She'd question curiously, not understanding why or how anyone would be able to call her if she didn't tell them her number first. C-cause that's how it worked right? Or did she miss something...?

Either way, the girl would keep on watching as Zavie next explained how to get to and use texting... W-which honestly sounded like it'd be a lot harder to do than Zavie was making it out to be. Even if Terra could help her read messages and tell her what they said, the act of typing something back would take her like five minutes a word! Probably... "I... Uhm... T-that sounds a little complicated honestly... H-heh..." The girl would purse her lips lightly and think, she didn't want to act like Zavie's explanations weren't helping, because they were! F-for the most part... B-but this texting thing sounded difficult. "I, uhm. I think Terra can read it out to me if you sent me a text. Yet unless he's able to use the phone to type himself I dunno if I'd be able to send texts myself... M-maybe short ones if I learnt some small words?" She'd suggest with a light hearted shrug and smile. "I think I get most of it so far though." She'd say with a light nod.

"Nehehe, I'll remind her if she forgets, don't ye worry kitty boy." Terra would remark, appearing in his fox form and sitting alongside Callie with a sly smile on his face. "I tend to have to remind her of most things already, this'll be no different nehehe~!"
