----------- Confessional -----------
It was another morning for the Sunlake Palms Church, yet it was still a darkened morning as the sun has yet to rise. It was devoid of many people. But the Church's staff were active as always, used to such an early daily schedule. Time has finally passed to fully open the outer gates and the mahogany doors. The Church was officially open for business today, but no one has yet to take its offer for worship and conciliation.
But that was fine, it was used to such things. It was an early hour to begin with. If anyone tried to enter its premises, they would find a man garbed in a habit walking around as he scanned the chapel. He had the look of someone that handled administrative matters on the local level, which he did at some point. But he seemed rather satisfied with the area, this morning's cleaners have done their duty it seemed.
"Hm. Did they do the organs too? They like to miss out on that a lot."
He seemed to be muttering to himself while checking over to the musical organs to the left side of the chapel. It wasn't just him around, but there were a number of Sisters and even a few priests tidying up some of the pews. They didn't seem utterly interested in anything else before some of them headed back deeper into the Church.
This was the scene that was presented to anyone who entered.

It was then that Takeru entered. He hoped to make his confession as quickly and as discreetly as possible as he walked in.
Which is why he had chosen such an early hour to arrive at the church.
He quietly passed by the pews, trying not to attract too much attention as he headed into the confessions booth. Another benefit of coming here early: There was no line yet.
As he sat inside there, he waited patiently, listening for some trace of movement on the other side that indicated the prescence of the minister.
True, he wasn't religous, but he wanted someone to recount his night's tale to in absolute secrecy. Mainly because of just how much of it bothered him deep down.
So he had thought that maybe something like that his would work in maybe easing his nerves.
Assuming he didn't get arrested the second he walked outside of there of course. Which he sincerely hoped was not the case because of the privacy arrangement in such a sacred act.

"...Hm?"
Jorge noticed at the corner of his eye of someone entering the confessional. It seemed to be a young boy perhaps in his mid-teens and yet so short. He had remembered this morning was the hour of confession and that it was his turn to take over. The organ would have to wait, he headed on over. But not before glancing at the organ as if wordlessly giving the message that he would be back.
The confessional wasn't a traditional one. It was to help cut the costs for the Church. In fact, they were just in a simple room with two chairs facing each other. There were still some religious paraphernalia around, but it had the necessary solitude required for service. It even had a plastered sign with the prayer of the Act of Contrition on it. The door opened to allow the priest inside, seeing the boy in the room.
Jorge took his seat and crossed himself.
"In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen. How long since your last confession, son?"

"Bless me father, for I have sinned. I... have never confessed before. Today is my first time doing so." he said in a solemn tone. He honestly wasn't sure how you were supposed to do this the first time. Nothing he had read seemed to have much on it. So he had no choice but to wing it the best he could.

This... was unexpected.
This boy never made a confession before? That begged several questions. Usually the Catholic faith had cycles in which they got together Sunday School students of a young age to prepare themselves for the Sacrament of Conciliation and of the Eucharist. This was not one of these cycles. Come to think of it, he never seen this boy before.
"Hm. Are you even part of the Faith? If you wish to confess officially, you have to join the Church. Is there any reason why you are here?"
This was rather odd. Not many even bother to come to some humdrum establishment like this one. Even with Isla's popularity, not many bothered to come in the morning for personal reasons. "If you desire to have someone hear you out, I'm willing to do that, if you want."
There must be a reason why he was here of all places. So, the priest might as well hear him out.

He was momentarily shocked by this news, but decided to press forward anyways. He had made up his mind long ago, and hid his journal properly where it would not be found easily.
"I was planning to confess, and even though I am not part of the faith, to gain some peace of mind. I thank you for at least choosing to hear me out. I hope that does not change the seriousness of which you take my confession though. You see, my sin is having chose to join those who would rebel against the queen over a series of doubts, some of which are part of the reason why I'm here. The exact circumstances of which take place over the course of two nights..." he said, beginning to tell the tale of the playhouse, careful not to name its specific location and name names, only short descriptions of them that he seriously doubted mentally would really work out.
(OOC: For convenience reasons, I will not mention everything concerning the two nights, only the most relevant parts. Please PM me, Godai, if you have a problem with it so that I can fix that if I must).
”On the first night, there was a demon named Pyro Jack, who had tested us earlier. Later on, when I went looking for him by myself to help fight off an an angry demon named King Frost who’s cold was becoming more and more dangerous. I found Pyro Jack when I was off wandering alone, being, well… I suppose interrogated would be the word for it, by a demon called Eligor, who was doing it in a way that brought back sore memories of my days of being bullied. Anyways, Pyro Jack managed to save them,I assume, as I had stayed to keep Eligor from pursuing, maintaining a defensive stance without retaliating on my end until my comrades came afterwards to help me fight it off. It was at that point that it fell to a simple burst of light that, frankly, I'm amazed worked. Afterwards, with all the praise some of my peers heaped on, I felt happy. That for once, I wasn't being criticized, or otherwise by them. I felt like I had finally found something I was good at. Too bad that rush wouldn't last…” he said, sighing at the memory, pausing briefly before continuing his tale.
”It was then that later that night I first solidified my belief in rebelling, because seeing what Eligor did reminded me that one of the things that I hate more than anything are those who abuse their power. By that token,I suppose I might be guilty of the same. For in hindsight,I would've spared Eligor if I had known that bolt of light would kill him, as taking any life, human or demon, to me, never quite makes me feel right, now that I think about it. I guess I got caught up in the heat of the moment.” He said, pausing once more before moving onto last night.
”When we came back the next night, the whole place was filled with cadet angels, and it was there that my previously solid belief fell down hard. In the first conflict of the night, things went badly after one of us had rushed forward. Me and another were the first ones down, having fallen to the same kind of light that fell Eligor. I almost thought that it was karma, that I had made the wrong choice in killing Eligor. I don't regret protecting Pyro Jack, but I do regret that Eligor died, especially once we found out that the whole reason why the place was infested with demons on the cadets side was because of Eligor never turning back up after last night. The being in charge of those cadets was a demon named Dominion, who, through a brief conversation with him once he found out that I knew Eligor, I found out the aforementioned reason why they had came here. When he tried to arrest us, we resisted, and he was slain in the ensuing conflict. Throughout the whole thing, I honestly felt awful, like it was my fault all of this happened even after the others reassured me that it wasn't my fault when I admitted it to them. But I still feel like it was. It was then that I began to realize that perhaps I had made the wrong choice. Especially after the being that called us there initially wasn't there when we finally got there, rather, someone else was, to be precise, the owner of the place we went to, who had never even heard of the one who called us, and then told us about our predecessors before us. Four of the most famous names he told us were Queen Bee, Giga-Bit, Skelter, and Alice. According to him, they all either died, or were imprisoned. From that, I began to realize: what would happen to my family, entirely innocent in this, if I kept going down this road? If something happened to me, they'd be affected by it as well… and honestly, I can't bear the thought of having others being affected by my actions in negative ways for no good reason other than guilt by association.” he said.
”So there you have it. That's all. Thank you for listening.” He said.

He listened. Then he was confused, absolutely baffled.
Who in the world would be this incredulously daft to confess something about joining the Psyche-Terrorists? He was extremely dazzled by this kind of reality. But nevertheless, he listened to every detail. Then when he was finished Father Jorge folded his fingers. There was still the ghost of an incredulous expression, but there was a look of pity. A kind of pity given to people who were too dumb to live. Jorge was quick to pull out a gun and aim it at Takeru before allowing him to move. There was a sadness in his face, but this was nothing new.
"Son... Perhaps you would have been fine if this were a normal church. But we aren't. Put your hands up in the air and get down on the ground. Don't make this hard on all of us."
The Sunlake Palms Church, or rather the Church of Freaks, were part of an organization called the Black Scriptures. An inquisitorial division within the Church militancy given authorization to break specific laws and to be able to divulge into heresies. They were a necessary evil within the Militancy. "All units, put the Church on lockdown. We have an intruder in sector A in the confessional. Assemble the men."
The sound of footsteps can be heard outside. Any windows leading out to the Church were being shuttered in by thick sheets of metal, with religious seals reinforcing it as a defense against supernatural forces. There were none inside the confessional, after all it was meant to be a room of secrets. Not that it mattered for the young Psyche-Terrorist. For all intents and purposes, Takeru was trapped. But he could always fight out... if he was brave enough.

"It was worth a shot. I'm sorry, but... I'm afraid I can't comply." he said as he slowly made his way to the door as he spoke, then once it was there, make a break for it as quick as possible outside, away from all of this. For once, he was glad that nobody seemed to know who he was. He was going to was escape and survice. There was a reason why the night before, he had covertly moved anything valuable elsewhere. There was also one place he could seek sanctuary for now. The Velvet Room. He had chosen this church for another reason. There was a blue door closest to this one. A door he could escape too. He ran as fast as he could. Out of there, he ran like never before, hiding his face. Unless things got bad, he was going to get out of there as fast as possible.

Unfortunately for Takeru, that was not how Velvet Room doors worked. With a crack from his pistol, it hit Takeru in the ankle. There was a bit of hesitation on Jorge's part, but perhaps having some peace in his life had made him soft. It was a criticism that Sister Louise had made sure he felt daily.
The door may have opened for Takeru. But a whole host of the Church's staff surrounded the exit of the confessional.
Behind him was Jorge looking at him with that same pitiable expression. "This doesn't have to be hard. Surrender and I'll make sure you'll get out of this one piece."
His tone began to turn serious, he had finally steeled himself for the possible conflict. If only for this moment, Jorge was back to his old self as a former combatant of the Militancy. Takeru could feel a tangible-like aura emanating from him, as if looking at him would cause him to keel over and die.

"Hm. This is bad. Well, Twelve, it's been fun. All we can do now is surrender.... and wait. We'll have anot her chance one day. I want to. Besides... people would be said if I died." He thought.
"Are you sure? There's always a-" "No Twelve. We're surrounded. Even if we tried that, and it somehow worked, what then? Where will we go?" Takeru said. Twelve had no response. "That's why we fight. Here and now. Not the old man, but those priests. They're expecting that. And we make it spectacular." Takeru said, and Twelve smiled.
Takeru gave a sad smile at the old priest. "Just promise me my family will be safe. It was nice knowing you,old man. I was going to give up the PT life after this, y'know. That's why I'm sorry about this." he said with a wistful tone as he held up his hands, a gesture of seemingly surrender.... Memories of so many people came to mind. But mostly one person in particular. His best friend. "I'm sorry, Masako... I wish we could've been better friends." he thought as he summoned his persona.
>Choosing to fight the church. Let's do this one last time.

"I'm....so... sorry... I... I..." he began to say weakly, tears in his eyes as he pointed the sonic screwdriver at them. As he pressed the button, one thought went through his head. "I can't go home again. I'm sorry everybody. I'm so sorry." he thought.

The blow slashed him, nearly killing him. "Why...? Why am I fighting...? Something... something was worth living for....." he said as he tried again with the light.
