Most people would have their spirit crushed after a defeat like that one, Gionatan was constantly trying to keep his mind out of it, which was probably why he contacted Brittany about hanging as soon as he could. He was also expecting her upbeat and energetic personality to help improve his mood, even if it was just for a few hours. When the day had finally arrived he went to the mall as soon as possible, and awaited for her there, he even bought himself a drink while he waited. When the girl arrived at the food court, she would see GioGio all bu himself playing with the ice stones on his drink using the straw, it was quite clear his mind was occupied with something else entirely, despite his best attempts to hide or not think about it all.

It wasn't all that hard to spot Gionatan in the crowd. First because he was outstanding in his own right, full of poise, elegance and having an unique kind of beauty to his own (that's what she'd answer if asked, although not so eloquently and well-spoken). With heels she also had a better panoramic view, so all she had to do was actually pay attention and let it benefit her. All things considered, soon the girl would manage to spot her friend's hairstyle she was so used to among the crowd. Gladly for Brittany, Gionatan seemed to be rather focused on something else other than watching the surroundings in surveillance. Fine; it'd only make her prank a little easier to put into practice. She had to be extra careful with her steps, because everyone knows how high heels can be indiscreet when it comes to making silence. To her favor, though, the place was a confusion of people and their smells and noises, so hardly her steps would be heard from a safe distance. With that in mind, she sneaked between the people coming from the opposite direction, getting closer...and closer...and closer... When she was surprisingly right behind Gionatan, he'd find his vision turning dark all of a sudden, thanks to her swift hands suddenly blocking the boy's sight.

"Guess who's it?"

Sliding her hands to Gionatan's shoulders, the girl ducked her head by the height of Gionatan's head, without caring much if he'd himself would be displeased or bothered by her demeanor. "Got you!", giggling happily like a child who played a successful prank.

GioGio's head would perk up and a smile slowly formed on his face, when he felt the girl touch his face. It could be none other than Brittany. He certainly did not expect her to approach him like that, but i was appreciated, it helped Gionatan cheer up a little bit already.

"Hm... I have no idea! Could it be a really pretty pink haired lady?"

His reply was followed by a chuckle, once Brit was done playing around the young cadet would stand up and spread his arms for a hug, should the girl accept it, he'd then kiss her on both cheeks. He knew it wasn't a common way to greet people in this country, but Brittany didn't seem like the type who would mind much.

"Buongiorno, Brittany. If you don't mind me saying, you look wonderful in that outfit." GioGio said as he let go of the girl. "I'm glad you accepted my invitation, how have you been?."

"I don't know what is it you just said, but...it wasn't name calling, was it?" Brittany frowned with a smug half-smile that soon developed into a playful grin. Of course she knew he wouldn't call her bad names in another language, he was too refined for that. At least, not after he praised her.

"Of course I'd come! You thought what, that I'd pass the chance?" Once they let go of the friendly embrace (she took note of how good his perfume was, because she's that kind of girl and a good smelling man is the best type of man there is) and a greeting Brittany, being a touchy type of person, naturally didn't mind albeit not being too used (was it something from another country? She could have sworn he has read something about foreign habits on the internet...), Brittany she the liberty to sit, in the chair right in front of Gionatan. "I'm fine! I mean, I just came back from school. Had to get back home, take a shower and head straight to...here! Oh before I forget, no, I haven't yet finished the book you gave me, there's sooo much going on lately! It's like life has been upside down these days...but enough talking about that. Nooo complaining! How have you been?"

Her demeanor and playful attitude warmed the young man's heart, it was quite welcome in light of recent events. But as it was reiterated many times, he was there to relax and take his mind of that... thing.

"Of course not, it just means 'good day'. Unless that's some sort of insult where you come from..." He made a thoughtful expression for a brief moment, though it wasn't long before his serene smile returned to his face. He'd nod his head along as Britanny spoke, she appeared to be happy(though she is the type who acts upbeat and energetic all the time), that was good."Is that so? I suppose my day hasn't been too different from yours, school has been demanding as always, by the way we should totally have study session together someday, but i can't really complain, i have a family and i'm well off in life... Although..." He hesitated for a moment. "...Hm, no. I think everything has been fine." He decided it would be for the best to keep it to himself.
