Finally it was lunch time for the busy Kizuna Academy scholars. Many ate their lunches in their classrooms, and went to go hang out with friends in the hallway of the advanced school. Like any other school, there were certain social groups that seemed to flock together at all times. There were the rich kids from Nokawia, the wannabe punks from Nadashiki, the bustling city folk from Shibakuzoi, and even the more reserved kids from the small town of Hayabusa. And that wasn't even all of them. Being a transfer student from another a region had thrown a young male, by the name of Tsurinai Naito, into the center of the weird cliches. With his family being rather well off, and he himself being one of the head of his class, it seemed almost obvious that he'd end up with the Nokawia bunch. However, he refused to join a singular posse. It was against his very nature. Long before he transferred into Kizuna Academy, Naito had made the decision to analyse people as a whole. If he was to subject himself to a certain type of person, he'd be excluding important variables to his 'end game.' Of course he was invited to have lunch with others, but he decided to take this time to rethink his approach on taking control of Kizuna Academy by the end of the semester. So to get a good distance away from everyone where he'd have time to think to himself, he had made his way to the rooftop of the school. With the cold weather, thanks to the time of year and winter just now ending, not many students wanted to be up in the melting snow and ice.
Standing towards the outter rim of the rooftop with his arms crossed infront of his chest, Naito would be staring towards the front gates of the school. He wore his usual school uniform which consisted of black trousers, black shoes, and a white dress shirt. Over this dress shirt was a black long sleeved light jacket. Instead of having his arms tucked within the sleeves, he instead had the jacket buttoned around his neck so it was hanging off his shoulders freely. There were other students spread out across the rooftop of the school building, but they mostly kept to themselves. Perhaps they were looking for some peace and quiet aswell. Though if that was the case, they could have went into the library. Instead of questioning them, Naito remained quiet upon the rooftop, almost as if he was awaiting someone's arrival. In all honesty, he hadn't told anyone where he was going, but he knew his sister had a sort of radar to where he was most of the time. It was only a matter of time before she would show up.
Reaching into his pocket, he'd remove his cellphone and stare at the screen with narrowed eyes. There was plenty of time before the small break ended, so he didn't need to head back any time soon. ". . ." Without saying a word, the silver haired teen would pocket his phone and let out a short breath. He couldn't help but resent his family for shipping him off to such a place just to get him out of their hair. Was it that much of a threat around the household? Hell, was that much of a threat with being in the same region? Though annoying, it was okay. He would use this new area as a stepping stone to becoming the number one person in all of Japan. After all, when he controlled everything they wouldn't be able to take anything from him. Not his possessions, nor his time of day.

/Because all the walls are paper thin./
The world seemed to move just as she did, or at least, that's what it seemed like. It was as though a vast majority of the student body didn't exactly want to associate with her. Tamiko didn't take this as an insult though, in fact, the intimidation was one thing that fueled her ego. It stroked her self-confidence and assured her that she was a force not to be meddled with.
Perhaps it was funny how somebody with her demeanor could act so conceited. Tamiko didn't blame her parents for it, nor did she blame those around her who treated her as they did now. She took credit for the gremlin she had become. It was a smug treatment, and she adored it. The teachers paid no attention to her personality; as long as she kept her grades up, why punish her?
Tamiko lingered around the school corridors for a bit. She had gone to the bathroom and by the reading on her small white watch, it was just about time for lunch. So, she lingered. Tamiko knew she'd be having lunch with her Onii-sama on the roof. She liked to think of it as a special routine the two of them shared. Family bonding she believed. ( Even though she stalked him and it wasn't exactly that special )
It was unknown to her what feelings her older brother had for her. She believed it was the same special attachment she shared for him. And though the girl was only probably a minor tool used for her older brother's personal gain, she didn't seem to notice or mind. The comfort of being next to him stood as payment enough for her. Some may have liked to call it an obsession; Tamiko called it their bond.
The girl, now with her lunch in hand, started walking up to the stairs that lead towards the roof. Students weren't exactly prohibited up there, so that made it more of a comfort zone for the two. She ran over to where her older brother stood and the brightest beam of a smile appeared on her face.
"Neeeeh! Lunch time, Onii-sama!" She sang.

Naito would be lying if he wasn't partially caught off guard by his sister's sudden appearance. Though it did almost cause him to flinch, he remained stationary and only closed his eyes. The constant frown that was usually on his face would stay plastered, as he searched for the words to say to his little sister. Though not related by blood, it was safe to say their family bond was as real as it could ever be. For the fact that she knew he was an antagonizing person, yet still wanted to be around him, made him rather curious to her motives. Either way, the silver haired boy had made a pledge to "love" everyone, and so he would return her feelings. Though, there was a major difference between how much he admired her, to how much she admired him. He wasn't borderline obsessed, after all. What would it hurt to show some affection?
With a deep breath, Naito would tilt his head to the side so his bangs would shift and reveal both his eyes. Uncrossing his arms, he'd lift his left hand and place in on top of his sister's head. "Oh is it lunch time already, Litte Sister? I'm surprised that you can keep track of time so easily, but I should have expected this. You are a part of student council, after all. A group of overachievers, heh!" Though he made a sort of laughing nose, his face never actually broke into a smile. Instead, he patted his sister's head like a owner would pat the head of their pet. That was one of Naito's main problems when it came to interacting with other people. He saw them more like pets and less like equals. Perhaps this was from a superiority complex, but it did drive him to put everyone on leashes. And by leashes, this meant he wished to control them all.
Walking over to a bench, Naito would take his jacket and use it as a makeshift blanket for himself. It probably would have been nice to give his sister the jacket instead, but his mind didn't exactly work that way. Crossing his arms over his chest and folding one leg over the other, Naito would look towards his sister with his usual calm expression. However, this time he had a slight smile upon his face. What a rare occasion! For a person who usually had a frown on his face the majority of the day, smiling was like using muscles he never knew he had. "Come, little sister. Take a seat. Tell me about student council, and how your classes are going. I'm sure..mom and dad.." Just saying the two words made his eye sort of twitch. "..would be interested in how well you're doing."

The girl was pretty much already used to her brother's lack of facial expressions which heavily contrasted to her overuse of them. It was pretty easy to tell exactly how Tamiko was feeling just by the look of her face, and right now she was quite pleased with herself for sort of making her older brother laugh. She received a pet on the head and accepted this as sort of a reward for doing something good. "Over achievers, huh? I think the student council is a mindless group filled with idiots who believe they're actually good at doing things that are beneficial for this school. If I wasn't just a freshmen, I believe I could be student council president in no time." She said, sounding rather condescending.
Her brother was in the kendo club, and like him, she too was a swordsman. It was unknown whether or not his influence on her was why she chose swords, but perhaps that was more hinted on faith. They both were probably voted the most conceited students in school, yet Naito was colder while Tamiko was just...well...a snob. She watched as her brother would sit down on the bench with his jacket as a makeshift blanket. When he called on her to come over, she followed like a little puppy.
"I made onigiri and dumplings!" She sang, unloading the bento box. She thought it would be nicer if she carried around both their lunches. She enjoyed cooking anyways and thought of herself as a rather great cook. "President-san isn't exactly somebody I'd look up to as a president, and the rest of the group aren't the smartest people I know. My classes are pretty easy, my grades are on top of everyone else's." Cockiness dripped from her tone. "Oh don't worry about Okaa-san and Otou-san, they know I'm doing perfectly well."

Wow, that comment of hers regarding the rest of student council was surprising. She was so adorable, yet with a tongue like that she could make anyone grow to despise her. She certainly was a relative of his own. Naito tilted his head forward with a sly smile, as he closed his eyes. "Who knew such an innocent little cutie could have such a sharp tongue. If you believe you could become student council president, I think you should go for it. That Atsuki Kiryu fellow is in his third year. After this year, he'll be out of here." The silver haired student would nod to himself, as he'd begin to tap his foot on the ground. To be honest, he had given some thought when regarding the Student Council. It'd be easy for him to get in with his academic prowess and over all intelligence. With his controlling personality, it seemed like something perfect for him. If he controlled the school that'd be one major stepping stone to controlling every aspect of his own life, and the life of others. The thought of having that much control did make him have a semi-smile across his face. "Student Council..Perhaps I should give it a try in the future aswell." Opening his eyes, the silver haired student would watch his sister skip over to him like a puppy to its master. She was rather adorable, but he was sure when she wasn't around him she turned into a demon to her fellow classmates.
Lifting a hand and pinching his chin between his index and thumb, Naito would look towards his sibling's lunch with narrowed eyes. "You made my lunch again? I didn't even have to ask...How sweet of you, little sister." Though he never admitted it, Naito did have a tooth for his sister's cooking. He wasn't that good of a cook himself, even though he took a job working at a sushi restaurant. That was more for the fact he liked to cut things up into pieces, and not the fact it had something to do with actual food. Wasn't liked he needed to cook fatty tuna anyway. The blessing of sushi was that it didn't need to be cooked, just simply prepared. And by prepared, that means simply put on a plate for others to pick up most the time. Or wrapped in seaweed if you wanted to be classy.
As she spoke more of the Student Council and her grades, Naito would grab his lunch and place it on his lap. "I expected nothing less of my sister. I'm proud of you, Tamiko." Giving her another pat on the head, the young male would tilt his head back and look up towards the cloudy sky. "Hey, can I ask you something, little sister? Are you happy with your life right now, or do you think it should be something much more?" His silver colored hues would shift to their corners to look towards her; awaiting an answer.

Tamiko giggled. It was funny how her older brother commented on her words of the student council. She figured that he of all people would think the way she did. A small blush crept on her face when he told her that she should try to be president. It was a compliment she'd take to the grave. However, hearing him speak of trying out for the student council brought her own hopes up higher. If either of them took the President or Vice President slot, the school was virtually theirs. The power they would hold...It was a sweetness she could taste. As soon as the current president would graduate,Tamiko made it a mental note of hers to grab the spot. She knew she probably wasn't the most liked student in the entire campus, but discipline was needed to enforce those who deserved it.
Tamiko already knew beforehand that her older brother wasn't exactly the type of guy to cook. Whether it was that he wasn't any good, or that he was simply too tired to, were both valid reasons for Tamiko to do it for him. Perhaps she was more of his pet than his sister, and perhaps she even liked being a pet. It wasn't that hard for her to find the energy to please her brother, she even took pride in it. Tamiko smiled happily once he took his lunch.
She didn't know if she could sore any higher once her brother told her that he was proud of her. Perhaps her demonic antics were paying off. Even if she didn't win the approval of the rest of her classmates, she at least had his. She'd fiddle with her chopsticks before taking a bite out of her dumpling. As usual, she cooked it to perfection. It was more of a skill than a talent, and she had her perfectionist personality to thank.
As though her brother had asked her a trick question, Tamiko would stare at him with confusion. Perhaps she had to choose her words carefully for this one. Was her brother not happy here? She looked away for a moment and swallowed before slowly beginning to speak. "Happy? I do think I am happy staying with Onii-sama like this. I mean, it is a good emotion, spending time with family and all." She paused before continuing. "Though,I beg your pardon, I do believe the term you mean is content, Onii-sama. I don't think anyone's ever going to be content with the way life is. I mean, my grades are up to perfection and yet, I'm still not content. As, dare I say it, people…we do tend to seek for something more, even if this is all life has to give us. Thus we find the meanings we seek for ourselves, and hopefully one day, we're lead to contentment. And happiness… It's an emotion we can receive in a moment's worth of time.Simple things can make people happy. This makes me happy, but it doesn't make me content." She was probably rambling. "Eh…sorry Onii-sama."

Spending time with family was one of the things that made her happy? Boy, they did have some differences. Shifting his gaze to the corners of his eyes, he'd cross his arms over his chest and let out a slight sigh. Obviously any subject that touched on family annoyed him slightly. Tamiko must have known this by now, but he didn't hold it against her. She was the pride and joy of the family. Hell, it could have been the same way if he wasn't inclined on trying to make his parents lives miserable. Why he was such an antagonist was unknown, sometimes even to himself. It wasn't like he was looking for any sort of attention, nor was it a cry for help. Something inside him just wanted to see his parents unhappy, which was quite cruel, even for someone like him. Moving on after his sister's short pause, she went on to correct his choice of words. She was right. You could be happy, but not content, right? Something didn't sound too right about that, actually. For you to be content you needed to be happy, after all. It felt like the two went hand and hand with one another. Instead of pestering on about it, Naito would instead nod his head in agreement. In all honesty, he was more asking himself the question than her. Being someone who wished to control every aspect of their life, Naito would most likely never be content in his life. Well, unless he could somehow control the world without anyone having any free will. Now that was a life he could be content with.
"That was a very profound answer, little sister. Though, I suppose you did ramble towards the end." The silver haired boy would give a smile while finally messing around with the lunch she had made him. As he messed with the strap holding it all together, he seemed to be having some trouble getting it undone. Though his face remained neutral in expression, he would lift the lunch box infront of her face and drop his head down. She'd probably be able to see he felt ashamed with what he was about to ask. "Can you open this for me, little sister? I think the cold is getting to me... or something." As he waited for his sister's help, he'd be sure not to make any sort of eye contact. It was embarrassing asking for help for such a situation as this. "Maybe I should start walking you back to class. Do you think you'll be staying after school today?"
