"So, we would of turned out to be exactly the same after all. All I really had to keep me company was the ideas I had in my head, and the books that I was rather obsessed with. That and learning a bunch of card tricks in a light sense of imitation. It was what I had for entertainment, or better yet, something I preferred a lot more than simply sitting around and watching television. " The meal was then placed on the table, leaving the two with their food. "I hope you enjoy!" Gabe looked up and down and decided to take out his phone. It's a nice breakfast spread. Before we start, would you want to take a selfie in celebration of it? Thought you would be a bit more interested in things like that.

"Oh so that was where you got your practice with card tricks?" Red would enquire curiously, made sense to have some kind of hobby to be working towards if you didn't have much else you could really do with your time. "Tele has its moments of good stuff to watch, but yeah it does get boring quickly if its the only thing to do." She'd agree with a nod as she noticed the waitress reappear and place her three mini muffins in front of her. "Thank you." She'd say with a light smile before her face switching to one more of slight concern. "A selfie...?" She'd repeat with an awkward chuckle. "Heh, y-you don't want a picture of me on your phone... I make for awful pictures... I'd just look stupid." The red hooded girl would add, honestly just embarrassed by the concept of taking a picture with Gabriel. She didn't want to end up having a stupidly embarrassing picture on his phone by mistake and she knew how camera shy she'd usually get.

"Ahh...i just thought it would have been a nice picture to have. Sorry for offering the suggestion if it was that embarrassing. " Gabe put the phone away and then got his bearing. "Let's eat before it gets cold then, shall we?" Gabe would say as he quietly got started on his food. He ate a bit slow, but displayed a degree of experience from using his culturally. He didn't eat completely normal, or average. At best, the perceived description of Gabe at his side of the table was showing proper manners. " How are the muffins tasting?

"I... U-uhm... S-sorry..." Red would say apologetically. "I didn't mean to be rude or anything... I-I'm just kinda camera shy..." She'd say with a sigh, god damn it she was just ruining a perfectly good conversation with her awkwardness and irrational fears of certain things. She really wished she could just ignore those feelings sometimes and just go along with anything, but it just wasn't in her nature to do so. She'd try to smile and shrug off the awkward feeling that hung on her as she watched Gabriel eat for a moment before snapping back to reality properly and picking up one of her muffins and taking a bite out of it. "They're good, still warm too." Red would say, they really were some of the best tasting muffins she had ever tasted! "So, what other things do you do for fun aside from your card tricks? Anywhere you like going now that you come out more?" The girl would ask, feeling like she should ask some of her own questions as well.

"Anywhere i like to go.......hmm... well for starters...i like to go to my manga shop. " Gabe would say with a smile as he took a small sip of his coffee. "It makes me happy that the long nights of working at the casino had finally paid off, people are pleased with my work, and they also come to socialize. I mean, working wth a place that makes a lot of money, i realized that's one way to measure success. However, that's not the only way to measure success. Something fulfilling........ at the end of the day." Gabe then took a bite of his bacon omelet and wiped his mouth.

"I also like to go to the lake. It's nostalgic, but i remember the one time i was allowed outside on my best day. I would say it was by best day of health back then, i would go fishing with my father. " Gabe then looked to Red. "Any place holds a nostalgic memory for you?"

"Manga? You mean those comics from Japan?" Red would ask curiously, surprised that was something that Gabriel was interested in. "I've never read one myself, but I've seen a few animes and they were pretty cool." She'd say with a slight snicker, she had never actually watched one on her own accord. It was always her sister that wanted to watch them and she just watched alongside, yet she had to admit some of them were very interesting. "You work at a casino? That's really cool, I bet your slight of hand with cards is super useful there huh? I uhm, never had a proper job myself, don't really count the playing guitar on the street as a job, not a fulfilling one like you said anyway.

"Nostalgic value? Hmm..." Red would ponder on the question for a moment whilst taking a bite into her second muffin. "Well, if I had to say anywhere. Probably the music store in Suize Q. It was where my mum bought me my first ever interment, I remember how excited I was to try it out and fell in love with music ever since. So I guess that'd be the place that'd be most nostalgic for me if I went to it again."

"Hmm....." Gabe mulled over what she said as he started to go through his meal once more, slicing up his food into little pieces and then taking frequent bites after picking it up with his fork. " Sometimes, I think that's what life is truly about, living long enough to make these memories with the people that you care about. Hearing about how you started off with music actually brings a smile to my face. If its more of a career than a hobby, I really hope that you make it big, i'll be watching from the nosebleed seats if your concert tickets sell out a lot.

Gabe would say in a joking manner. " Though, i'm sure you can do it. Maybe you can take me to the record store and show me your favorite music collection? I never had a chance to browse through old school cd' and listen to them, seems more of an tv show kind of thing.

"Music has always been something I've enjoyed, it lets me express myself in ways that I usually can't and, well, as much as it would be nice to one day have it be a job, I'm just... Kinda too nervous to share my music with people most of the time. I like to play when no one is watching, or at least not properly playing attention... I guess I just get stage fright is what I'm trying to say." Red would explain, she really did love her music and quite honestly it would be amazing for it to be a career and her not having to do any other boring job and just make a living off of what she loved. She just had to learn to break that social barrier first.

"Thanks for the kind words though." She'd add with a warm smile before taking another bite of a muffin. "And sure, we could do that sometime. Although asking me what my favourite music is wont be true for very long." The girl would say with a light laugh. "My preference on what I like the most at the time changes almost every week."

"You have time.... time to find your footing and break out of your shell. You know the thing about people, every one of us, in one way or another, we have talent. We all have something to offer towards someone else, in one way or another. Your music is notable fo yourself, have you ever thought that someone else would be able to enjoy your music as well?" Gabe nodded as he pushed up his glasses. "I sure did, and I hope that...well... if you take it seriously, that more people would also agree with that sentiment. "

Gabe then finished his meal and only had his coffee left. After that, he heard the comment that Red's favorite song changes every week. " So what's this weeks favorite? If you don't mind me asking?

"Heh... Hopefully someday." Red would respond simply before taking a final bite into her second muffin, she'd look down to the third one for a moment before deciding to save it for later. Or take it home and let Raine have it, whichever happened first. She appreciated Gabriel's kind words on her music, but it still worried her even the thought of playing in front of a crowd. She'd love to be able to, although she wasn't sure how long it would take to find the courage to do so.

"This week...? Weeelll..." The red hooded girl would have to ponder on the question for a moment, it was a difficult question for her to answer as she liked so many different styles of music from many different bands. It really depending on her mood which one she'd pick at the time. "Probably Demons by Imagine Dragons. Been listening to it loads recently." She'd say with a confident nod once decided. "What about you? You got any favourite songs?"

My favorite song is Yelawolf -Till It’s Gone, it ...taught me how to grow up fast......... if anything....." Gabe would say in a rather somber moment. It's quite vulgar, but resonates with me and a time of my life that i have to face everyday. So, lets trade songs for the day. When i get home, i'll search up your song, and you can search up mine. Then we can talk about it together next time we meet. Sounds fun?" Gabe would say as he asked for the check.

"Hmmm, sounds like an interesting idea." The girl would reply after a brief think about it. She'd quickly leave a note on her phone of the name of the song Gabriel had just told her about so she didn't just end up completely forgetting later on. "If its a song that has that much meaning to you, I'm sure it'll be a good one. I don't really have any deep reason why my choice is my favourite at the moment, just the song I listen to the most I guess." She'd smile weakly, watching as the waitress came over to give them the check for their meal.

"Heh, thanks Gabriel. It's been fun to chat and get to know each other more. Can't say I've done something like this much before." She'd admit kind of sheepishly as she stood up from the table and checked her phone once more to see what the time was. "And I'm sorry to dine and dash, but I've actually gotta be heading home now. Promised my sister we'd go out soon and don't want to let her down. Hopefully we'll run into each other again sometime soon." The red hooded girl would turn to take her leave, waving Gabriel behind as she started her walk home. "Cyah around."
