The scorching heat of Pyre Grove is just as intense as usual. The small arena being a tough place to fight on, testing the user's capabilites in a small environment. This will be a test of wits, planning and stratergy, using the environment to your advantage being the key to victory.
The combatants stand in the middle of the arena, about 10 meters away from eachother and another 6.5 meters away from the edge, leading to a fiery doom. Both of you are on the same height, meaning that you have 15 Meters of sloping upwards and downwards. May the best combatant win.
OoC:
Send me a PM where you either pick Rock, paper or scissors. If you win this, you get to choose who posts first. Play fair. I'll keep an eye on this match.
Post your stats and any passives that activate straight away (Like Auto-passives). Anything else should remain hidden until they are used in some fashion. (Like Regenerate or Invigorate only showing themselves once you've lost HP/SP). You may begin whenever.

Hmm, so this is where i'm going to fight my first opponent. Before I took over, my old self might have just resigned himself and either quit, never show up, or even intentionally lose. It still pisses me off that he would do such a thing when he could win. Life is all about winning and losing, but he permanently resigned himself to losing. A fool like that shouldn't be in charge of this body. Anyway. My opponent is over there, ten meters away. This arena is tilted and looks all irregular. And There is a dome over us and what looks like.... lava below. Fanfuckingtastic. And the floor is fucking blazing hot! Anyway, I need to get up high, which means I need to change into my true form, which would be a good idea anyways. I shudder as my normal body is consumed by the black liquid of myself, transforming almost the entirety of my apparent being except for my height. I grow large, bat-like wings from my back, I'm covered from head to toe with golden armour, my soulbound fuses with myself on the back of my hands, making me have nine inch wolverine claws basically (whooo), and in my face grows a multitude of horrors, unseeable due to the completely fitting helmet.
....As much as I want to do a hilariously frightening yet cheesy speech in this form towards my foe, now is not the time for it. We are in combat, and only fools monologue. At least, without moving, but it's still a distraction. I quickly flap my wings to get myself 5 meters in the air, directly above my former position. I then boost my speed with one of my special skills, hoping to be fast enough to combat my foe... whoever they are.

Let the dance commence!
Character Appearance:
"My, well if it isn't completely sweltering!" The garish man sauntered forwards, sweat clinging to his skin beneath his blue and white leotard as he fanned his face with a hand. The grace and beauty that was Lucas Fulbrite stood a good 5'11" with a slim and trim frame of 140lbs. He slicked his flawless blond hair back. "I could just melt in this heat! What a rather splendid stage for my first dance of the evening, I simply must speak to my agent about this." Things could certainly be better, but he could do much worse than the center of a volcano of sorts. While he much preferred the spine-tingling chill of the rink, a change in scenery was always a welcome sight. Broadened the horizons, the experience was surely worth the toil. At least it must be, Lucas would not allow something so silly as scalding stone perturb him, no sir! He would give everything to the dance. To twirl and spin and enthrall no matter the stage! It was in his blood, nay, his very bones ached for it! Patiently in place so he stood, 10 meters from his opponent, 6 and a half from the broiling magma behind him, and an incline spanning 15 meters from top to bottom.
"My my, why aren't you the handsome devil! I was hoping for someone a little more dainty but a man's man! Mmmm, count me in!" the slim dancer flirted with the absolutely rugged piece of eye candy before him. "Lucas Fulbrite, Prancing Lad of the Rink, a pleasure to have this dance, good sir," he bowed gracefully. This man... yes, he would dance the Devil's Tango with him tonight! Glorious, oh how so radiant it would be! His tortured screams letting out the Life's last breath... exquisite. Ravishing he may be, Lucas knew that he was much like himself: a devil in fine dress. And devils could not be allowed to besmirch this earth with their taint, for none were as full of splendor as he. For this, they would dance! His bones would break, his body ache, his flesh torn asunder in a beautiful rose bouquet! The devil would dance his last, but oh how magnificent a dance it would be!
"I would be delighted to take your hand an- Oh, we're already starting, ha ha! ~<3" The distinguished lad would chuckle as his darling partner would contort his body into the hideous beastly thing he knew he was inside and take to the air in elegant flaps. Lucas would also begin to take his more elegant form, performing a flawless Biellman spin, eschewing glittering sparkles as ice coated his body and began to melt away.
True Self Appearance:
"I'm ready for my debut! May we begin our radiant ballet...? Hmm hmm ~<3
When the spinning came to a halt a perfect creature rivaling only the angels in beauty would be standing in Lucas's place. The same height, the same flawless looks albeit with noticeably less clothing so as to present his impressive body to the world. Blue of skin like the flawless sky, he embodied the element he held most dear: Ice. Lucas, nay! Vanitas... loved the ice. It was as smooth and inviting as he, a perfect structure testament to Nature's beauty... On his feet he bore wicked ice skates capable of slicing even the hardiest and stubborn of elements in twain. His hands held twin MP9's, wicked little sub machine guns capable of piercing the hearts of his adoring fans... along with their brittle rib cages as well.
Weapons:
Vanitas chuckled a gleeful chuckle and turned his eyes upward toward his opponent, summoning the winds to aid him. A valiant effort, but one ultimately in vain. His fate had been sealed as soon as he stepped foot into the arena... "Now let's do something about this abhorrent heat...~<3" he giggled sultrily, extending a hand toward the ground. From his fingertips ice would sprout, covering the ground in a layer of ice 6 inches thick. This ice would cover the entire incline of the stage top to bottom, a good 15 meters, while spreading the 6 and a half meters behind him and 8 and a half meters in front of him, another 15 meters for his capability. 8 meters of scorching earth on his opponent's side of the stage would remain, of course. As talented as he was, Vanitas was not a miracle worker. These talents of his were taxing on the spirit, not something he could waste on ugly landscape. "Do please go ahead, my darling golden lark! Continue, give me a good dance!" he would egg on, more frost flying from his fingertips as he formed a perfect image of himself from ice and frost. The demonesque deity of cold would dance lithely circle around his creation with nonchalant grace, keeping an eye towards his opponent in anticipation of his move.
—Strength Name:Dance Upon the Ice ~<3 —Description: Lucas is a figure skater, and a good one at that. The ice is his playground, the rink his domain, and he finds sliding across the cold and slick just as natural as walking, even more so.
There may yet be more to this skill...
—Strength Name:Graceful —Description: Spins and twirls, pirouettes and sliding steps! These are what magnificent dancers are made of! Lucas is a lithe acrobat on the ice able to pull off many impressive stunts and jumps as easily as most people find breathing to be simple.
Lucas's Luck stat receives a 10% bonus.
—Strength Name:Bullet Waltz —Description: Attacking with his feet frees up both of Lucas's hands for a little extra firepower. The rest of this Strength isn't obvious yet...
—Weakness Name:Delicate —Description: Being statuesque isn't without its drawbacks. Lucas's dancer's figure isn't the most sturdy thing out there, a lover, not a fighter.
Lucas's HP is lowered by 10% of its actual value.
—Weakness Name:Nothing Less Than Your Best! ~<3 —Description: Considering himself perfect, Lucas's vanity can be a glaring weakness in certain combat situations. He will toy with his opponent and will refuse to engage them at anything less than they're full strength, as he sees it his duty to fully and completely trounce them at the height of their capability. If an opponent is powering up, he may often just allow them to do it.
—Weakness Name:Dancing Song —Description: The scrape of Lucas's skates are very distinct, his dancing movements making a very familiar crunch and slide of metal on ice. Lucas is easy to locate through hearing, even if someone can't exactly see where he is.
Actions:
Mabufudyne | Inflicts a large amount of Ice damage to all enemies. | 32 SP | Tier 3
Tier 3 Mabufudyne (150% power) + Arcana Boost (Star: 15% to Ice) + Ice Boost (25%) + Ice Amp (50%) = 240% Boost to PmStr (100), total of 340 Ice potential.
Soul Skill Name:Beauty Incarnate! Shadow Name: Vanitas Tier: Tier 4 Cost: 20% of total HP Type of Damage: ??? Description: Vanitas/Lucas creates a radiant, striking ice sculpture next to himself in his own image... the rest is hidden away for now.
- Vanitas has coated the 15 x 15 meters of his side of the stage in ice 6 inches deep, leaving 8 meters on Nich's side untouched. This ice has the potential to last 2-3 rounds per moderator judgement.
- Since Vanitas is on the ice, not the ground, he does not take the Damage Over Time effect.
- Vanitas has used his Soul Skill to create a statue in his own image, one that he's hanging off of at the moment. He's doing nothing else with the statue.
The Run Down:
- Asked Jerry about how much I could freeze of the stage and for how long, got an answer of 70% likely and for a few rounds which I'm going for. Didn't get a depth, but 6 inches isn't too far-fetched, it's thick enough to skate on and last awhile.
- Vanitas is staying true to the Weakness of Nothing But Your Best Nich has taken this turn to power up so Vanitas is waiting until he's done to begin the fight.

Hmph. Is this fool openly showing sexual orientation in a fight? Disgusting and foolhardy. Openly trying to make advances on the opponent? Is this some sort of strategy? No matter. He will fall like the rest. Looks like he transformed into some sort of..... blue-skinned form? Is he of an Ice orientation? That would make sense with his skates. .... He has dual machine guns. Shit. He.... he just.... froze the majority of the arena, up to about 1.5 meters away from my current position. He seems to be well versed in ice skating and he just made himself the perfect area for it. I must quickly correct this. Did he also make a statue of himself? I don't trust that. "FOOL!" I yell at this man... Lucas is his name. I fly down to the edge of the ice and attempt to destroy all of it with a torrent of wind concentrated through the ice with a punch at it, destroying the ice and his cover from the floor, and possibly also his mobility if he doesn't do something. After that I shoot a burst in his direction with my own machine gun. I then proceed to move forward 3 meters and back up to 3 meters high to get ready to attack him.

Invigorate 1 | Recovers 3 SP on each user turn | Passive | Tier 1(Must be a Tier 1 Skill)
Wind Boost | Increases Wind damage output 25% | Passive | Tier 2(Unlocked once defeating ten Demons/Shadows; Must be Tier 2 or below)

Actions:
Using the Dark Skill "Dark Skill Name: Winds of Chaos [What's the tech called?] Persona Name: The Demon of Conquest[The name should match one of your Personas] Tier: Tier 4 Cost: 50 SP [Make it realistic. Physical damage moves is HP for a cost. Magic is SP] Type of Damage: Wind [Self Explanatory] Description: Nicholas, or rather, the Demon of Conquest, channels into the winds the true nature of the conquest, CHAOS. Creating a torrent of winds, destroying all in it's path, only for it to be claimed by it's destroyers. This is a Tier 4 Wind AOE attack........ there is more to this skill." To break the all of the ice with basically a fucking hurricane punch. Also using 1 Machine Gun Dex attack at Lucas. Movement is Diagonal movement down of approximately 5 meters and diagonal movement up of approximately 4 meters. Vertical position is down to 3 meters and horizontal position is forward 4.5 meters.
The Dark Skill is a T4 AOE (200%) with a 75% wind modifier from wind amp and boost, that ice is done. (Fuck me he has star arcana.)
Gun Dex Damage is 100x3 if each shot hits. If you don't know, each shot is worth 100 Dex damage, also Gun Strength for extra get hit.
Run Down:
So, Gran told me I would be able to move this distance probably since my opponent is still 10 meters away while i'm doing this, Gran also said that I would only be able to do two attacks. Also, I personally believe that punching basically a thick layer of ice with a hurricane punch of T4AOE+75% would fucking shatter it to pieces. (Got this idea from a boss in MadWorld I believe it was called.) Also, he is probs gonna have some bullets in himself if he doesn't fucking do something since I have +Accuracy.
Here are my fucking weapons if I need to show them. (Including soulbound because it is always visible, should have done this last post. Also gun because shots were just fired [literally].)
Soulbound:
Weapon Name: Claws of the Lion Weapon Description: It appears to be a pair of nine inch steel claws with three blades on each. The grip on it is made so that it is handled horizontally, like the lion walking across the savannah. When Nicholas transforms himself into his shadow form, they fuse with his hands at the top between each of his four fingers (Excluding the thumbs), making them practically his own claws. (What it looks like)
Gun:
Side-Arm Name: UZI SMG Side-Arm Description: It appears to be a small machine gun of the Uzi variety. It has a back-end that allows it to be pressed against the shoulder for more accurate fire, a grip that allows it to be held and fired at the same time, like that of a pistol, and a sort of holdable area under the barrel allowing it to be kept even more steady. The elongated barrel also makes it more accurate, truly making it a marvel of a small machine gun.(What it looks like)

Oh, such a display! This raw, unrelenting force was exactly what Vanitas had hoped to see! Such unrestrained power! Although... it came at the cost of his beauty. Pity, that. Well now, can't have that, can we? What a shame this destructive gallant eagle needs to die. The massive impact from the Demon's blow was more than enough to shatter all the ice coating the battleground, giving no surprise to the dancer. He was anticipating such a test of might, although a little more direct of one. Nevertheless his reaction time was quick enough to avoid even stumbling a tiny bit as the frozen cold below his feet gave way as it evaporated into a lingering powder, dropping onto his skates gracefully. Excellent indeed! His rippling, icy body would be obscured amidst the driving crystal... As for his magnificent visage, however, remained delicately untouched, and the statue remained standing. There was radiance and wonder in unimaginable power such as that... but the destruction was ugly. Not fitting for this world. Not long for it either. A cheschire grin tugged at Lucas/Vanitas's lips.
"Now now, that wasn't very sweet of you..." he would coo. Strong as his opponent was, Lucas/Vanitas was that much more swift. He knew that the gusty assault would not harm him and allowed it to pass him by without action... but there would be repercussions for such a vile act. For one, he was making mistakes left and right. There was no variation in his movements, no variety! He traveled on a straight plane, so easily exploited. As the ice cracked and broke around him, Vanitas took a quick step forward and laid out a soft blue hand, forming yet another statue in front of him. He used this statue to push himself backward into the arms of the other as the Demon drew his firearm. Second mistake. It was quite the faux pas to stay where he was for any length of time, the dancer had the golden lark right where he wanted him. As shots rang out they entered his flawless, icy double, shattering it to pieces, but bought Lucas/Vanitas time. While incoming rounds were being fired, the devil of the rink whispered a sweet, lone word.
"Beira...~<3"
Materializing before him quickly a gorgeous Queen would appear, a giantess standing at 7 feet, with perfect turquoise skin clad in gay attire such as he, with long sapphire hair of silk...
Beira, Queen of Winter:
Oh, how regal and splendid and beautiful was she! Not to mention deadly... Queen Beira held forth a clawed hand, and just as soon as the statue Lucas/Vanitas was shattered a bullet pinged into her abdomen and she fired a powerful blast of cold the width a man was tall a meter above the Demon's head, sweeping downward like a beam as it traveled to the end of the arena. The Demon of Conquest would be jumping straight into the torrent of sub-zero chill if he chose to ascend from the ground into the sky like he had intended. Dodging to the left or the right was an option, of course, but it would require enhanced reflexes to avoid being caught by the beam. Those magnificent wings worked to his detriment here, providing a larger target to strike. Forwards and backwards was also a death sentence. He would need to act quickly...
Yet as Queen Beira did so, Lucas/Vanitas had his own missives. Using his own likeness to propel himself, he would skate along the edge of the arena in a wide arc, strafing just along the edge of it as carried himself along, heading to the peak of the arena, the very tippy top of the slope. "You should do well not to underestimate you partner's skill! I might just surprise you... hmm hmm hmm! ~<3" giggled the prancing lad as he propelled himself along the dastardly hot ground at a quick pace.

Soul Skill Name:Beauty Incarnate! Shadow Name: Vanitas Tier: Tier 4 Cost: 20% of total HP Type of Damage: ??? Description: b]Soul Skill Name:[/b] Beauty Incarnate! Shadow Name: Vanitas Tier: Tier 4 Cost: 20% of total HP (88 by build) Type of Damage: None Description: Vanitas/Lucas creates a radiant, striking ice sculpture next to himself in his own image. Such a shame this beautiful creation will be used as a decoy... The ice sculpture has a maximum number of hit points as the same amount of HP Vanitas/Lucas used to create it and is weak to ________ attacks, immune to _____. They are immune to any Ailment that wouldn't affect an inanimate object as they are constructs and do not actually take actions. They share his PEnd and MEnd but cannot dodge attacks. There is more to this skill, however...
- While the Demon of Conquest was in the midst of destroying Lucas/Vanitas's ice, he created another statue in front of him.
- While the Demon was drawing his weapon, Lucas/Vanitas summoned his Reverse Persona and prepared to use a skill.
- All three shots from the Demon connected, two striking the statue, one striking Lucas/Vanitas's Reverse Persona.
- Queen Beira (Reverse Persona) fired Sinister Chill with the effect radius one meter above the Demon's head as soon as the statue was destroyed. The attack has a 2 meter diameter and is travelling downward in a line towards the Demon.
- Lucas pushed off his previously created statue and used his enhanced speed to travel to the top of the slope of the arena. The arena is only 15 meters long and 23 meters wide and they started in the center 10 meters apart, Lucas would need to travel a minimum of 8 meters to reach the peak and is currently in that position moving along the outside edge of the arena.
- Both Lucas and his statue take the 5% Damage over Time effect of the stage for standing on hot ground.
The Run Down:
- The Demon of Conquests's Winds of Chaos skill is of a higher Tier than Mabufudyne, it can easily break the ice.
- As The Demon was destroying the ice, Lucas/Vanitas was creating a statue of himself between the two of them. As he drew his weapon to fire it, which I'm assuming he had to otherwise I would've known he had a machine gun just by looking at what's in his hands, Lucas/Vanitas summoned his Reverse Persona in front of him yet behind the statue. He then waited for the statue to be destroyed to fire Sinister Chill before The Demon could take off like he wanted.
This is justified through the fact that Vanitas is much faster than the Demon and was anticipating his actions beforehand (Lucas made no offensive moves and merely waited for the Demon to perform his). He also fired his weapon before taking off into the sky again, meaning that he landed performing his attack, then drew his weapon and fired before taking off. This buys Lucas time to summon his much faster Persona in anticipation of his movements. Vanitas is sure that the Demon doesn't want to spend time on the ground just like he doesn't.
- If the Demon continues to move upward as Sinister Chill moves downward there's no way he can dodge diagonally without being caught in it somehow assuming his wings stretch wider than his arms, he won't be able to flap upward and tuck them in fast enough even with Shadow Accel. He'll need to dodge laterally or toward the ground to fully escape it, and even then he'll most likely need to use Shadow Accel considering the fact that he needs to move meters through the air while Queen Beira merely needs to move her hand a less than half a foot to catch him with the attack.
-All of the Demon's shots connected because of his Strength, but moving and making another attack before shooting gave Lucas more than enough time to do something about it other than Shadow Accel quick enough.
- If the Demon is hit and Frostbite occurs he will be frozen to the spot he's hit in, if in the air he will either need to put all his movement into staying afloat or come to the ground.

What the.... the fool can still move..... he summons ice wherever he slides!? Damn, well, at least he seems to be suffering the effects of the ground. What the.... he made another statue. Whatever. Yes! The bullets broke through it! .....He summoned a reverse persona to block the last bullet. Damn. Oh SHIT! ICE BEAM!!! I quickly stop flapping and sprint diagonally to the left 5 meters using the shadows to boost my speed and then use the momentum to take off at the end to a height of 2 meters while moving diagonally another meter, quickly spraying a burst after take-off at Lucas, between Lucas and his statue, and at the statue. Shit, he had such an attack in his arsenal. If I didn't have that 1 meter of distance from my head I would have been screwed. That was an ice beam from the reverse's hand, right? I need to be wary whenever it appears. I also need to keep up my momentum, or i'm done.

Queen Beira's frost beam shifted downward at lightning speed, coating the ground in a thin frost as it climbed toward The Demon of Conquest... and missed entirely. Such pity. The meaty armored giant would have made for a fantastic gallery piece, such a work of art! Those angles! That girth! Imposing, powerful, intimidating! ...if only he would have been a good little songbird and stayed put. Instead he fought and writhed like the cur he was and found a means of escape, darting closer toward the peak of the smoldering rink of fire. What a shame, that. Oh well, can't win them all! What enjoyment would there be without a struggle, a challenge! The clashing of an unstoppable force of nature's beauty and an immovable specimen of a man ~<3. Oooooo-oh-oh... That armor... How he loved a man in uniform... It truly was unfortunate he was resigned so strongly to his fate, they could have waltzed so beautifully together... *sigh*
Vanitas clutched his magnanimous Queen of Winter back into the recesses of his mind, safe from the bullets and assault and harm. Her fragile visage could only handle so much, after all. Vanitas kept up his rhythm, the scraping of his skates like a symphony among the stone, crashing against the bubbling ichor in a concerto of defiance! The golden lark... he edged closer and once more unfolded his gleaming wings to the winds, taking himself nearly 3 meters above the ground and much closer to the prancing lad, he would say between 3 and 4 meters between the two of them. The quaint little arena left little room to stretch his legs. He could see him aiming his rifle and prepared for the incoming assault... but nay, he did not aim at his gleaming, perfect form! He had gone for the decoy! What luck, such a boon this was! Vanitas would have more than enough time to prepare his own counter attack.
He targeted his frigid copy first, a round echoing into its frozen form, the icy duplicate holding fast under gunfire. But... it was SO far away! The magnificent golden lark would need to swing his barrel from the scapegoat to the real deal, a good 8 meters or so. This left Vanitas with PLENTY of time to meet his steps. As the first round entered the sculpture and the second round skipped across the rocks, Vanitas holstered his own firearm, holding his arm to his shoulder. When the dastard's weapon began to line up with himself he knew that this was the time to react! Showtime! Vanitas turned himself, his back toward the trough of the arena and kicked off the lip of the sweltering stage, travelling 4 meters rapidly toward his opponent. The fired round sailed above his head, the elegant dancer feeling a passing need to wave to it as it left. His quick movement ended just below the flying beast, quite the short distance at that! If he had merely stretched out his arms he could have graced his fingers along those rugged iron boots. Mmmmm ~<3.
He shot like a lightning bolt, rapidly covering all that ground as he left tender flakes of snow in his wake. His quick movement may have ended just under the beefy devil yet his momentum did not subside. Using his honed, lightning reflexes the azure beauty would flash-freeze an icy lance one meter in length into his fingertips and hurl it quickly to pierce the center between winged one's shoulder blades. It was an easy throw, his target was right next to him, after all. No more difficult than playing trashcan basketball... quick pace. "Shiiiiia!" he grunted in exertion, the icy projectile dancing past his fingertips as it left to seek a comfortable position through metal and bone. Should he freeze he would find his wings bound first, bringing Icarus to the earth so as he belonged. But regardless, Vanitas would sail along. Not as if he had any choice in the matter, which he did, but the sheer speed from his Demonic propulsion kept him moving at a quick pace. "Come on, my darling meadow lark!" the cocky dancer mocked as he slid down the ramp, "Give me a show!"
—Strength Name:Dance Upon the Ice ~<3 —Description: Lucas is a figure skater, and a good one at that. The ice is his playground, the rink his domain, and he finds sliding across the cold and slick just as natural as walking, even more so.
Lucas generates ice underneath himself with which to skate on, increasing his mobility. This ice disappears immediately when his skates leave it, it's purely for his own mobility. When Lucas maneuvers around on ice he can easily maintain momentum and move faster than a normal run speed if he can pick up some steam.
There may yet be more to this Strength...
If an opponent is powering up, he may often just allow them to do it
—Weakness Name:Dancing Song —Description: The scrape of Lucas's skates are very distinct, his dancing movements making a very familiar crunch and slide of metal on ice. Lucas is easy to locate through hearing, even if someone can't exactly see where he is.
Blizzarou | Moderate Pierce and Bufu damage to a single opponent. | 16% HP | Tier 2
**Frost Bite | 10% (20% with single target skills) chance of inflicting a freeze ailment with each bufu skill used. Not effective against opponents that are strong/block/ etc ice. May cause freeze that makes your next attack undodgable. Wears off the opponent's next turn. [in PvS - in PvP it lowers opponent mobility and agility by 15% and partially freezes them in place until their next turn]. Can be put out by an agi skill used on self that matches tier. Effects do not stack. Passive | Tier 1
- Vanitas dis-summons his Persona back into his psyche.
-The Demon's first bullet strikes Vanitas's Statue 1 (Starting Point).
- The Demon's 2nd bullet strikes the ground as stated.
- Vanitas takes advantage of his Graceful Strength to turn his back toward the bottom of the arena while holstering one of his MP9s without slowing his momentum and uses Shadow Accel to boost himself 4 meters down the slope in a direction straight toward The Demon of Conquest. Vanitas travels directly under The Demon during his Shadow Accel. On a slope he's moving downhill, and assuming The Demon is aiming center-mass Vanitas's Shadow Accel should bring him under the bullet with more than enough time to spare especially if The Demon is higher than him, which gives him less distance to travel before he's under the shot.
- The Demon's 3rd shot misses due to Shadow Accel.
- As soon as he's past The Demon Vanitas throws javelin of ice into his back (Blizzarou) at near point-blank range
- Vantias's Dance Upon the Ice ~<3 Strength allows him to maintain his momentum during Shadow Accel. Vanitas is moving swiftly toward the bottom of the arena, maintaining his momentum from Shadow Accel. He his currently 1 meter behind The Demon and on the ground, travelling extremely quickly.
- If frozen, The Demon will fall to the ground for his turn. This is because the freeze effect will be coming from the small of his back, close to his wings. He may or may not be able to move on foot pending mod approval.
- Both Lucas and his statues take the 5% Damage over Time effect of the stage for standing on hot ground.
- The Demon of Conquest fired at Vanitas's statue first, meaning he'll need to swing his weapon up to meet him. Vanitas isn't moving fast enough to dodge a bullet without special reflexes, especially going uphill, but he'll have more enough time to react to the attack with an action especially if he's more than 7 meters upward from his statue or traveling toward there.
- Assuming he moved closer to the top of the arena (movement was unspecified, "left" could be up or down the slope) and he started at 7.5 meters from the top (arena is a 15 meter slope 23 meters wide, entrants started in the center 10 meters apart and equidistant from the top and bottom), this places him where 3 meters up and a minimum of 4 meters from the top of the slope (because of the lateral distance). Lucas is 6' tall, or just shy of 2 meters, he's able to fit under the Demon and has the reaction time to strike him from near point-blank range just as he's doing.
- Because Vanitas has used Shadow Accel and the Demon is facing uphill, Vanitas has a good window to strike The Demon in the back before he can turn around or react to the attack. This attack is likely guaranteed to hit barring certain exceptions because of the difference in Luck (172 vs. 300). There is little chance for this attack to miss without being prepared for it based on sheer reaction time.
- If the freeze effect occurs it's occurring starting form The Demon's back, meaning he's highly unlikely to be able to use his wings.

OOC Note:
Honestly, I'm sorry for the delay, and I would have posted much sooner but certain unpleasant things came up and, while i'm still feeling their effect, though they are nowhere near as painful as before. Also fucked up where Lucas was, sorry about that.
Shit, looks like I have to change my direction to shoot at him.... What the- He dashed under me! I quickly turn around towards him and see... he's catapulting into the edge of the arena, but he also shot towards me a spear of ice! I quickly activate my massacre mode. NOW IS THE TIME TO END THIS!!! I dash diagonally upwards 5 meters towards where Lucas is blasting off, simultaneously closing distance and avoiding the ice spear. Looks like the bastard underestimated his own speed! I continue gliding towards this Icy knave and summon what could only be described as 2 volleys of dark wind lances. "DIE!" I yell at Lucas, firing the 1st volley of lances and then firing the second .75 seconds later towards him. The diameter of this is 35 meters, so each will certainly be able to hit him unless he does something to intercept both volleys. Then he will also have to contend with the lava, and it may hurt him much. I take off my helmet, and let this knave gaze upon my true face, a face of horror.

Now including some flavor text to make Lucas miserable and afraid.
Within the armour lies the bodies of all those dead in the name of conquest, all superimposed. Woe be upon any who see The Demon of Conquest for what it truly is, for they shall know despair.
Actions:
Activating Shadow Massacre and using Shadow Accel to move 5 meters diagonally upwards towards Lucas to evade the ice spear and close the distance. While gliding towards Lucas for another 5 meters horizontally, activating Dark Skill Winds of Chaos Twice as wind lances and shooting them in an AOE of 17.5 meters radius surrounding Lucas' current location in the lava.
Run Down:
So, according to Daichi, Shiina, and others, I would have enough time to avoid his ice spear being thrown at me. I would activate massacre, seeing an opportunity to destroy my opponent and avoid the spear using Shadow Accel.
I would then summon 2 groups of wind lances covering an area of 35 feet, with a radius of 17.5, concentrated directly at Lucas and his surrounding area. I would then fire them both with the second volley having a lag of .5 seconds from the first volley to make sure that they can both hit. Whilst doing this I would be gliding 5 meters towards Lucas.
I was also told that being in the lava and being made of ice would at least have Lucas needing to say goodbye to some limbs, so i'm counting on that to hamper his movement so he can't avoid the blows.
Also, my current distance from Lucas should be around 17.5 meters.... assuming he hit the edge of the stage with his speed.... if not, it's somewhere between 8-17.5 meters. I kinda didn't really get much knowledge about where Lucas would stop.... sorry bout that.

Ah shit, forgot to calc damage and debuff chance.
Here be damage calc and the chance to lower enemy speed by 30%
101 PMstr +T4= 101+150%=252.5 +Wind boost and amp=252.5 +75%= 441 damage of the Wind Element towards Lucas Twice.
Now for the chance of luck reduction
Reduce luck if 1 or 2
Debuff Chance:
Attack 1
Random number (1,10) :
5
Attack 2
Random number (1,10) :
2

as usual I fuck up again. Here are the details for Winds of Conquest
Dark Skill Name: Winds of Chaos [What's the tech called?] Persona Name: The Demon of Conquest[The name should match one of your Personas] Tier: Tier 4 Cost: 50 SP [Make it realistic. This is a Tier 4 Wind AOE attack with a 20% chance to debuff the enemy's luck by 30%, for all the four corners of the world are not safe from the winds of conquest.

OOC:
Very behind on my own posts, I apologize for that. I've been away on business and very sick lately but I should be back to full form.
Also gonna try out something new with how I post, instead of sounding so scientific in my content post I'll be putting in those details under my Actions or Rundown spoilers. I think it'll make things more fun to read.
Such awe! What a beautiful duet! The clashing of two very capable men in spirit and body, a magnificent display! Dance with me, golden lark! Tango with-
*FWIIIIIIIISSSSSSHHHH!*
...
...well now, isn't this quite the predicament?
Before Vanitas could react he found himself rocketing into the scorching magma just at the base of the platform. Such haste and speed was powerful enough to dig him in deep, and barreling downward at an angle as he did drive him past his waist into the searing molten rock instead of sliding along the top. Pity that. He had hoped for enough time to sculpt a magnificent sculpture to prevent this sort of tragedy... but it can't be helped. Monologues tended to do that, distract you from the unknown danger as you taunted the known one. Oh well, if he had to do it all over again he wouldn't have changed things in the slightest. Well, except for maybe generating a frigid ramp to prevent this sort of thing, but not the monologue. No use crying over spilled milk, on with the show! No pain, naught to gain as they say! Yet there was always a silver lining to be had, even when faced with the cruelty of hubris. The density of the lava had slowed Lucas to a standstill after a little bit of travel, merely sinking him to a little above his navel rather than taking an unhealthy dip in flaming agony. Throwing that spear of ice had left his arms completely free, quite another boon! No such thing as impossible, merely a greater challenge to conquer!
...as flippantly as Lucas was treating the situation the truth of the matter was he was in very real danger. His sculpted, icy body risked vanishing under the intensity of the heat. Despite all this, the dancer couldn't feel a thing. An uncomfortable chill, even for his snowy form, graced his skin as he could feel his cold flesh begin to melt away. Should he be a mere man he assumed that this is the part where his nerve endings would be incinerated into uselessness, but the Prancing Lad just felt... colder. And lighter. Not the best of signs, no. The hot, thick liquid began to steal his cold from him, making his immediate moves all the more important. But a dancer was always quick on his feet. Metaphorically, of course, even if his body was slowed his reflexes were still as sharp as a finely-honed blade. Stunned slightly, but still aware and in control, crackles and hissing could be heard as thick fog began to roll off his skin and gently, patiently, his already frozen shape began to freeze once more in a layer of white.
Lucas's subconscious mind was a bit more alert and forward thinking, and as soon as he was even able to comprehend reacting Queen Beira appeared above him in an elegant and alluring pose, a sexy smirk upon her full lips as she held a single finger out. And upon her appearance did it began to snow, soft flakes drifting from above the arena. Her cold, comfortable embrace would come to his rescue, preventing him from being damaged by her harsher, more piercing methods. Just then the two would be rocked by fierce hurricane gusts, such force to destroy the two instantly! That would be, if not for the Winter Queen's prescience and wise actions. The stalwart noble moved not during the windy assault, not did Vanitas with half his body submerged within a hot cocoon of death. Silver linings abound! As the two were rocked by strong blusters Lucas would feel his mind turn sluggish with subtle indecisions as chaos entered his thoughts. He began to think of how exciting all this was, very worth the struggle! Raw power and emotion, enough to bring a tear to the eye! As he lay dying in that fiery aby- oh, right. Queen Beira reacted after the dual strike, thrusting her palm down quickly and unleashing her own chilling blast toward Vanitas. The sub-zero chill gave him the extra "oomph" needed to freeze his form completely and prevent him from fading away into nothingness within his smoldering prison. The lava around him began to bubble and spit as it hardened and solidified gradually, penetrating deep below the surface with time.
"That's it, my eager sparrow! Leave me no quarter! Shower me in your soul ah ha ha! ~<3" the blue devil urged with a giggle as a frosty chill whipped around himself. Quite the opportunist, wasn't he? Well met, golden lark. Well met indeed... Lucas crossed his arms over his well-cut chest, closing his eyes as he began to edge closer to the brink. "Your power... incredible..." With that final remark, the dancer of the ice froze completely, leaving a mere ice sculpture of himself wading in the lake of fire.
_____________________________________
Back on the platform, the magnificent statue Lucas had crafted at the beginning of their ballet opened his eyes, the white frost beginning to coat his skin as deathly fog rolled from his body in the blistering heat. He peered upward at his soaring opponent with a slight smirk on his lips.
That's right, darling. So strong you are. But however strong you may be, I am that much more clever. Quite the ruse if I say so myself, ho ho! We will witness what will draw gasps of pleasure from the crowd in this dance: unmatched strength and form or graceful, cunning elega-
Wait... what's wrong with your face?! Is that a nose!? Noses don't look like that and they CERTAINLY don't jut out of the side of your head! Disgusting! Vile creature! Such a horrid abomination is not long in the presence of my flawless visage!
Vanitas's curling cheschire grin twisted into a determined scowl as he prepared for his next hidden strike. Such a... a thing could not be allowed to exist!

—Strength Name:Bullet Waltz —Description: Attacking with his feet frees up both of Lucas's hands for a little extra firepower. There may yet be more to this Strength...
—Weakness Name:Delicate —Description: Being statuesque isn't without its drawbacks. Lucas's dancer's figure isn't the most sturdy thing out there, a lover, not a fighter.
Lucas's HP is lowered by 10% of its actual value.
—Strength Name:Heart of Ice —Description: His Shadow Self being made up of much the same material, when in his True Form Lucas blends into icy environments easily since he's of a similar color to it. He also can't be picked up by thermal imaging of any sort and cold environments (but not Ice attacks) don't affect him nearly as severely as normal humans.
—Weakness Name:Dancing Song —Description: The scrape of Lucas's skates are very distinct, his dancing movements making a very familiar crunch and slide of metal on ice. Lucas is easy to locate through hearing, even if someone can't exactly see where he is.
Shadow Skill: Shadow Massacre Appearance while in Massacre Mode: While in Shadow Massacre Vanitas begins an alluring, sensual, irresistible dance upon the ice, becoming one with it. Thick white fog will begin to roll from him in chilling waves and all of his movements will come accompanied by driving, sparkling snow that drifts gently down from above. His skin will begin to frost over with cracks of hardened white, as if freezing all over again. Description: If a Shadow Self were to go into a Massacre, they could cast a Tier 1 skill and immediately follow that Tier 1 skill with another skill in the same post. You can only link up to three skills total in one post. This Shadow Massacre only lasts for three (3) turns, and once it ends it can not be used again the entire topic and all following skills will be weaker by 50% (unless a special item is used). Unlike a Shadow Frenzy, the Shadow Massacre allows you to link any three skills no matter the tier or type.
Into the Void | Nullify all damage, except Almighty, for the next turn for both enemies and allies. [3 post cool down] | 50 SP | Tier 4
Sinister Chill | Inflicts a huge amount of Ice damage to one enemy. This attack includes a 25% chance to inflict the Frost Bite status ailment. | 32 SP | Tier 4
Soul Skill Name:Beauty Incarnate! The ice sculpture has a maximum number of hit points as the same amount of HP Vanitas/Lucas used to create it.. They are immune to any Ailment that wouldn't affect an inanimate object as they are constructs and do not actually take actions. They share his PEnd and MEnd but cannot dodge attacks. Vanitas/Lucas's Salvation skill will also heal his ice sculptures of all damage and cure them of Ailments if applicable.
Vanitas can trade places with his statues once per post. To trade places with his ice sculptures in such a way he needs to use this skill again to create another ice sculpture in his place, and the ice sculpture he chooses to trade places with will be destroyed. He can perform this skill as a response to an incoming attack if he's fast enough, leaving his icy decoy to take the damage as he gains a better position.
There's a little more to this skill to uncover...
- Overshooting his Shadow Accel, Lucas ends up in the lava where he's in danger of melting. As we've sorta worked out in the chatbox, he's roughly 3 meters from platform's bottom edge and submerged up to his midsection. This would put him 12-13 meters below The Demon and 15 meters away.
- Lucas is slowed significantly while in the lava but his Persona isn't. Lucas enters Shadow Massacre and summons Queen Beira above himself and uses Into the Void to protect himself from what he's about to do. This has the nifty effect of protecting him from the damage of Winds of Chaos.
- Winds of Chaos strike Lucas before he can get his next skill off, doing no damage. The debuff from the 2nd hit of Winds of Chaos still lands since it's not damage.
- Queen Beira uses Sinister Chill, a Tier 4 Ice skill on the lava in order to keep Lucas from further melting under the intense heat, freeze back parts of his melted body, and harden the lava around him to prevent him from melting further. Lucas would've taken damage from his own skill, but Into the Void nullifies this. Lucas also can't freeze himself because he resists Ice.
- At the same time Queen Beira is using her Persona Skills Lucas is using his Tier 4 Soul Skill Beauty Incarnate to generate a statue in his place as he takes position of the statue on the platform. He's in lava so this is a slower process, but the skill is a Tier 4 Ice skil and Into the Void and Sinister Chill buy him enough time to accomplish this. He returns to his starting position, placing him 8 meters below The Demon and 3 meters behind him.
- Lucas unsummons his Persona. He's also not making any noise by not moving, nullifying his Dance Upon the Ice Weakness and attempting to play on his Heart of Ice Strength to buy himself time for his next turn through faking his death to an extent. He'll be prepared to counterattack next turn.
- Lucas has already touched lava in his turn as well as the hot ground but Into the Void prevents him from taking Pyre Grove's Damage Over Time effect.
- Into the Void only lasts for one full round. Lucas used it on his round, nullifying the incoming damage he'd receive. Any attacks he would make would be received on Nich's next round and be similarly nullified. However, Nich should be able to attack next round and deal damage when Lucas receives it on his turn.
The Run Down:
- By what's been worked out in the chatbox, Lucas heads straight into the lava and continues for about 3 meters before the density slows him to a halt. At a 15 degree angle he's about 1 meter deep. At nearly 2 meters of height he's in up to his midsection. (worked this out with a bunch of complicated as shit math along with the density of lava and comparing the comparable falloff of bullets underwater)
- Term's ruled that Lucas can survive for a little bit in the lava. He's 150lbs of ice, he'll melt a bit but it won't kill him. Casting Sinister Chill on himself can also work to minimize this damage and prevent further melting. Everything below the lava will definitely lose a lot of mass due to melting, but by channeling more cold and ice combined with the fact that Lucas's melting lower half has nowhere to actually go, it's safe to say that he won't sink further and may be able to maintain some of his lower body. Even if its bone-thin.
- Lucas may be slowed down, but his reaction time and Reverse Persona are still functioning on the same 300 Luck, at least for his first move. He would use Into the Void not as a reaction to The Demon's attacks but to prevent himself from dying through hitting himself with Sinister Chill. Because the Demon moved before unleashing his attack and not just with Shadow Accel, I would argue that Lucas can get one Persona Skill off before he's struck with this attack.
- Lucas isn't fast enough to counter The Demon's incoming attacks after using Into the Void and isn't particularly concerned with them anyway, more concerned with the lava melting him alive. Both attacks hit, doing nothing, but the debuff from Winds of Chaos still applies. Lucas can't take damage at the moment but debuffs are a different story.
- Using his Soul Skill at the same time as his Persona is using its own skills afford Lucas time enough to complete his skill, Sinister Chill surrounding him buying even more time to create a statue in his place.
- This part is ambiguous and may need mod ruling, but I need to post so it's getting written this way. When Lucas switches places with his statues per the skill, I'm intending for him to essentially take over the body of his statue and leave his old body as a statue. This would mean that the real-world damage he'd taken from the lava would be moot. Thing is, I didn't write the skill to say that anywhere so it's sort of up for interpretation. In any case, his current maneuver doesn't affect the sequence of events and it can be retconned based on ref decision.
- Lucas's Tier 4 Soul Skill allows him to create flawless statues of himself. With his Heart of Ice Strength he happens to look just like them. He's attempting to use this to his advantage by not making a sound and allowing The Demon to believe the melting statue is still him. It won't work for long probably, but he's attempting to buy time with his now slower speed.

Hah! The fool doesn't even notice my attack.... what? Did he just..... NULLIFY IT!? Damn, I need to keep on with the winds while I have advantage. Speaking of winds, I need to keep up my speed. Can't let him get out, and I think I also managed to slow him down some, so that helps. What is he doing by solidifying the lava? Trying to escape now are we? Well he is submerged, so it won't do him any good..... unless he has another plan in place. That, would be bad. Huh? He... turned into a statue? He's definently not trying to escape, and I would think he would try to avoid his death if at all possible, or based on his flamboyance, acknowledge my strength in his defeat. Yet, he said nothing of defeat. What is he planning? Wait a fucking minute. There is a statue in the lava. He created a statue before.... don't tell me he did some swapping bullshit. I quickly flap 180 degrees and lo and behold. The statue has it's eyes open and is scowling at me. Heh, so he had this as a last resort, huh? A statue swap? It won't do him any good. I use the shadows to hurl me diagonally downwards towards Lucas 5 meters, leaving about 3 and a half meters left in distance, about 11 feet to be able to make a reaction. PERFECT. He was never this close to me, and now he is dead. I drop my SMG to the floor before the shadow accel, knowing it's not needful anymore. Then, using the momentum from it, I glide toward Lucas, cruelly smiling, and cross my arms, preparing to slice him to ribbons. Each slice from each arm will go from the cross position to fully stretched out, making sure he can't dodge to either side. And if he decides to take it head on, it will be an ice-man vs a somewhat slower than bullet speed armoured flying corpse-man. So he can either die, or get fucking wrecked. "It's Finished!"

Wind Amp | Increases Wind damage output 50% | Passive | Tier 3(Unlocked once defeating thirty additional Demons/Shadows and using your True Form 35 times in PvS combat; Must be Tier 3 or lower)
Soul Skill Name: Weapons of War [What's the tech called?] Persona Name: The Demon of Conquest [The name should match one of your Personas] Tier: Tier 4 Cost: NA [Make it realistic. Physical damage moves is HP for a cost. Magic is SP] Type of Damage: Passive[Self Explanatory] Description: In the pursuit of conquest, many nations sought to develop better weaponry to kill the enemy with less effort required. Humans always seek up arms, and so the Demon of Conquest sought to better his arms too. This gives a passive 75% buff to Slash Skills. [Explain what happens when you perform this technique]
Actions:
Casting Soul Skill Name: Winds of Victory [What's the tech called?] Persona Name: [The name should match one of your Personas] Tier: Tier 1 Cost: 10 SP [Make it realistic. Physical damage moves is HP for a cost. Magic is SP] Type of Damage: Buff [Self Explanatory] Description: Nicholas channels the winds to his wings, knowing that they fortell victory, to make his advance towards that goal all the faster. This is a buff that boosts luck by 15%. Expires in 3 turns. [Explain what happens when you perform this technique]
Then using a Soul Skill Name: Shadow Accel Persona Name: N/A Tier: Tier 1 Cost: 15 sp Type of Damage: N/A Description: A high speed movement that allows the user to move at high speeds in short bursts. Out side of dungeon traversal, the movement distance is from 0 - 5 meters.
And finally following that shadow accel up with Skill 5: Tempest Slash | Inflicts a large amount of Slash damage up to 2 times to one enemy. | 18% HP | Tier 3(Must have used your Shadow Frenzy ability to defeat atleast three enemies in one battle or used your True Form 35 times in PvS combat; Must be Tier 3 or lower)
Damage from Tempest Slash is the following.
Base =100 Tier 3 = 100+100%=200 +Arcana Boost(15%) and Soul Skill boost(75%)=200+90%=380 Damage for both hits. ....yeah. If this hits, he's toast.
Run Down:
So, I use Winds of Victory once again after realizing my Winds of Chaos did nothing.
After he does his little statue teleport, Nicholas almost immediately realizes that Lucas did some sort of trick and quickly realized he switched with his statue. (Break told me it would be easy to see through, yay)
He then does a quick 180 and confirms said suspicion. (Daichi notified me that the statue was behind me in his post, I suck at remembering positioning, thank you man)
He drops his gun and shadow accels 5 meters out of 8 1/2 meters towards Lucas and glides the rest. (Break confirmed I would be going somewhat slower from shadow accel (bullet) speeds.)
Nicholas quickly crosses his claws and once he reaches Lucas, Slashes a claw to the left and right from the cross position, covering two arcs of about 33 inches (somewhat more than 4/5 of a meter)
Then, since Lucas' shadow form is made of ice, it will likely suffer damage if they collide and Nicholas' attack doesn't hit.
And finally, since the luck difference has been lowered to 38, he has MUCH less time to react to any action on my part.

Yes, of course. Just as anticipated. You never let me down, do you songbird?
Lucas had been prepared for the charge, anticipating a savage assault from the hideous beast. For their entire ballet he had attempted to close the distance yet Lucas would prance away much like the Sugarplum Princess to his Nutcracker. This time would be no different. Regretfully, the ice dancer would have no time for a witty retort or degrading taunt toward his opponent. Time was of the essence. From his position in the air would the armored behemoth come down on him yet Lucas would not be where the abomination anticipated him to. In a flash his ice skates melted away, leaving the pretty boy to dash backward 2 meters with his bare feet on the scorching rock. The sacrifices we make... although, it was much more bearable given his frozen form. He wouldn't make that mistake again, no sir! One dip into the lake of fire was quite enough for one dance! He left tender snowflakes in his wake, trailing in the air as the clumsy bird smacked down to earth, bouncing and tumbling a bit from his airborne dive.
Queen Beira appeared before him in an instant, hovering over the metal menace and throwing forth an icy blast of chill from her palm downward onto him. Such cold should be enough to subdue even the most unruly of ne'er-do-wells, yet Lucas wasn't quite finished. He claimed it to be foolish to underestimate one's opponent and the magnanimous man was no hypocrite. He needed to be absolutely certain that such a monstrous visage could no longer grace his flawless presence. He had resolved himself to destroy such pock marks upon the world and despite his enjoyment, destroy it he would. It was too much a blight to continue living.
As his splendorous Queen would begin her assault so would Lucas begin his own icy attack. Puffing out his cheeks, he would blow a gust of sub-zero chill outward to engulf the grounded avian in a cornucopia of cold. If his opponent were to take him seriously, so should Lucas take seriously his opponent. Anything less was insulting to his vast skills and abilities.
But the heat had gotten to him. Panting hard, the sculpted young man would brush his glorious hair from his eyes. "Phew! Such heat in this arena! I'm... *haaah* ...I'm glad we could settle this like men. You've been such a worthy opponent!" And, just as he said he wouldn't do, Lucas dropped his guard around his opponent. After all, if he wasn't dead, he was frozen solid. Right? No, of course he was right, the dancer was never wrong!

Strengths and Weakness:
Strong vs. Ice
—Strength Name:Meet the Tempo —Description: Being a dancer makes you very, very intimate with time, rhythm, and most of all, your dance partner. Lucas picks up on subtle cues in actions and intentions, specifically on where his opponent may strike from or what they might attempt. He can sense sneaky tricks coming if his opponent begins plotting, but not exactly what they might do. Still, this gives him an advantage against falling for underhanded tactics.
Actions:
Lucas is on Turn 2 of his Shadow Massacre.
Shadow Accel
Shadow Accel is a new technique for dungeon traveling but can also be used outside of battle for high speed movement. When you appoint a leader in the dungeon, the leader can travel through the dungeon themselves. When they're performing the Shadow Accel, instead of moving one square at a time, they will move three spaces at a time. So if you can only move six squares on normal, you'd be able to move 18 spaces in Shadow Accel. You will still need to write the appropriate number of words like normal. When you are in this state, any enemy you come across will automatically have the first move vs you in combat, however it allows for a faster traversal through dungeons. When encountering an enemy, the rest of your team will join you in combat even though you're the only one traveling in the dungeon. For each post, you must choose whether to Shadow Accel or post a regular way. However, you can not mix and match the travel types. Just keep in mind of your surroundings and the chance of an ambush when you're traveling this way. You can still do this technique when you're alone in a dungeon aswell. *Sukukaja does not work for this technique* Outside of battle, Shadow Accel can be used to dodge bullets in short bursts.
Soul Skill Name: Shadow Accel Shadow Name: Vanitas Tier: Tier 1 Cost: 15 sp Type of Damage: N/A Description: A high speed movement that allows the user to move at high speeds in short bursts. Out side of dungeon traversal, the movement distance is from 0 - 5 meters. When Vanitas uses Shadow Accel he leaves drifting, sparkling snow in his wake.
Shadow Dark Skill: Sinister Chill | Inflicts a huge amount of Ice damage to one enemy. This attack includes a 25% chance to inflict the Frost Bite status ailment. | 32 SP | Tier 4 (Lucas uses this skill twice)
- Lucas dimisses his Soulbound Weapon to avoid a repeat of last time. This occurs near instantly as understood while he simultaneously using his Shadow Accel.
- Lucas Shadow Accels 2 meters backwards, outside of The Demon's threat range of both his charge and his attack.
- As the Demon strikes the ground, most likely bouncing off of it, Lucas will summon his Persona directly overhead (less than a meter) to cast Sinister Chill down onto him. With the movement he's taken, Nich should be just in front of Vanitas (again, less than a meter).
- As Queen Beira fires Sinister Chill down onto The Demon, Lucas will fire Sinister Chill from himself at The Demon.
- Lucas is standing on the ground with no protection, suffering the Damage Over Time effect of Pyre Grove.
- With Lucas's HP under 10%, he'll become Fatigued at the end of this turn. Lucas is also taking a breather here, leaving his reaction time slowed.

The Run Down:
- Lucas was anticipating Nich to Shadow Accel toward him. Due to his Meet the Tempo Strength, Lucas is astute at finding patterns within his opponent's battle strategy in addition to preparing for his attack the previous post. It was stated that Lucas was anticipating an attack from The Demon before finding him disgusting and scowling, which The Demon witnessed Lucas do. This would mean that by the time The Demon turned around, Lucas was already prepared. Add in the 38 more Luck he has, a noticeable difference but not extreme, and he should have more than enough time to anticipate The Demon's charge.
- Nich is 8 meters higher and 3 meters lateral to Lucas, meaning that he's Shadow Acceling into the ground below at roughly a 20.5 degree angle (am nerd, did math). Continuing his glide as stated, The Demon of Conquest should slam headfirst into the ground.
- The Demon has used his turn to move toward Lucas 2/4 times and only away once when he was forced to dodge or be frozen in place. He's never moved farther away when he's had the option to, even with Lucas's speed giving him an advantage in reaction time that distance can help with. Lucas can reasonably believe that he wants to close the distance.Shadow Accel is the most efficient way to do that.
- Even though he's not much faster than The Demon, Lucas is still faster and attacking Nich from point-blank range. He should have little to no reaction time to counter his attacks especially after slamming into the ground like that.
- With Lucas soon to be Fatigued, this ends here. Either he kills his opponent or his opponent kills him next round.
