Base & Transformed Appearance:
Base Appearance: Ryan Turner is a 5'9" tall, 24 year old thug of a rather athletic build, slender yet muscular. His face is framed by his shoulder-long hair, which is bleached to a pearl-white color, matching the beanie he's often seen wearing. He wears baggy or torn up jeans coupled with various vests and hoodies of different colors and patterns. His shoes of choice is a pair of black sneakers. He's usually seen wearing a silver necklace, and in one of his ears, you can clearly see a matching silver earring. His eyes are a deep, dark grey, and rather squinted and small.
Transformed Appearance: When Ryan assumes his True Form, he goes through a rather drastic transformation. His skin starts to glow a bright green, as it starts to melt, and shape itself into his new form, taking on a hexagonal texture on his skin, as the body shifts into that of a small dog, about 1/3rd of Ryan's original size, being about 2'10", and being about 3'6" from tail to snout. He lacks any sort of fur, and it's skin is black and green. A green scarf hangs from it's neck. On it's chest is a single, red gem.
Personality:
Pre-Awakening: Ryan, prior to his transformation into a Shadow Self, is a rather chill individual, who pursues his goals in a rather laid-back fashion. However, he's never really been fond of authoritarian figures and rules, as he finds them restrictive and as such, a hinderance in his work. However, he's never really acted out on his disliking for the authorities in Endymion, and he's not exactly vocal about it either, so no-one except maybe his closest friends would really know what he thinks.
Post-Awakening: After waking up to the truths of the world, and what the current status-quo is within the city, as well as being you know, the shadow, his disliking towards authoritarian figures and rules increases exponentially, to the point where Ryan quits his job and turns to a life of crime. He does whatever he can in order to fuck with the authorities, consequences be damned. He despises them for hiding the truth from him for so long, and for being so damn restrictive, and honestly, who can blame him? Endymion is practically a dictature, where what you can express is limited to varying degrees. His lust for freedom and spite for what the government is doing is what drives him forward. He wants a less restrictive life... and he can't exactly leave Endymion. Not after what he's seen. So, in order to achieve his goals, he explores his own powers, and finds ways to mess up the cadet's plans in whatever small or big ways he can. So long as they don't get to boss around with him how they want, he's satisfied.

The Potential
|
Strengths: (Anything your character is skilled in, such as Martial Arts/ Drawing/ etc? You are allowed a maximum of five strengths and a minimum of three.)
—Strength Name: Experienced Climber —Description: As a kid, Ryan was pretty good with climbing and scaling vertical surfaces, and this is a hobby he's kept up working on even today. More or less just for fun. But he can scale building walls on his own at a relatively okay pace. Fast enough to outrun anyone not experienced in climbing walls.
—Strength Name: Fleet of foot —Description: Ryan's quite athletic in terms of running and climbing, and he's pretty light on his feet. In PvP combat, this means he's naturally faster than normal humans (or animals in his shadow form). In dungeons, his movement speed is doubled.
—Strength Name: Graffiti Artist —Description: Ryan's very adept at using spraycans and making his own stencils, the art that he makes is eyecatching and conveys a message. He's even been practicing his craft in less-than-stellar positions and scenarios, such as while running or hanging upside down. In those situations, he's freestyling it, and more often than not, the result isn't very pleasant to look at. This strength also gives him access to aerosol spray cans.
—Strength Name: Fighting Spirit —Description: Even when things look grim, he never gives up, due to his conviction and tenacity towards reaching his goal. Once his mind is set to something, he'll chase it, no matter what. When his HP falls below 30%, His PmStr recieves a 15% boost in strength.
—Strength Name: Canine's freedom —Description: While in his Shadow Form, due to being such a small target, his luck is raised by 15%.
----- ((A floating Strength is a strength you've gained inRP. For example, if you were on a Kendo team for some time, you'd naturally know Kendo which is where this strength would come in. However, be aware, it will not be as strong as any of your actual strengths and is a small plus)
—Floating Strength Name: —Description:
Weaknesses: (You must have the same amount of weaknesses as strengths. These weaknesses pertain to you and not your Persona. IE: Physically Weaker, lack of attention span, etc.)
—Weakness Name: On the Ground —Description: Ryan is very much a hit-and-run kinda guy, and struggles greatly in areas where he's forced to fight his way through. Sure, he'll certainly try, despite knowing that a straight up duel will most likely be his end. Fighting with Soulbounds will give the opponent a slight advantage in PvP.
—Weakness Name: Distaste for the crown —Description: Ryan absolutely hates the Cadets, and will go through whatever means necessary to make their job as difficult as he can. Should someone say that they're supporting the crown, he'll spit in their face, and leave. He can never respect those that deny their own freedom, and force containment on others.
—Weakness Name: Recklessness —Description: When close to death, his actions get more and more desperate, decreasing his PEnd by 10% and his MEnd by 5% while his HP remains below 30%.
—Weakness Name: Discovering the Limit —Description: Ryan's not too used to his new powers after awakening, and as such, has to pay 10 extra SP to use Shadow Accel.
—Weakness Name: Canine's Bite —Description: While in his Shadow Form, since his only way of holding his soulbound is his teeth, which is not ideal at all. Thus, his Dexterity attacks in his Shadow Form deals 15% less damage.
----- ((A floating weakness is one gained in RP. It could be a fear you inherited during RP, or an injury that hinders your character. Some can be temporary while others can be permanent.)
—Floating Weakness Name: —Description:
Soul Bound Weapon: (This is the weapon you'll be able to summon to your hand while in combat. This weapon is special for your character specifically and can also form when you transform into your True Self. This can be anything but a Gun (Or gun related weapon unless pre-purchased with a Nihil Soul))
Weapon Name: Canine's Bite Weapon Description: A single, purple dagger, with a cross-shaped design on it. An orange gem is found on either side of it's hilt. The blade is 9 inches long, while the handle is about 5 1/2 inches long. In his Shadow Form, he carries the weapon in his mouth, should he use it. Weapon Image:

The Background
|
History: Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Ryan Turner's life has been a rather wild one. At an early age, he was utterly fascinated with street artists and performers, as they did something so interesting and fun as a way of living. He didn't really keep the consequences or reasons why they were doing so in mind, as he was just a kid at the time. He wasn't one to really concern himself with the future all that much, just like most kids his age.
Time passed, and Ryan grew up into a quite handsome, young teen, and this would be the point where he and his family finally moved away from Orlando in favor of going to a bigger city, where studies, work opportunities and social activities were more lucrative. This was the time where he discovered the art of Graffiti, something he's been working on ever since, behind the backs of his parents, of course. An honest boy, indeed, who just happened to like something that could be considered to be vandalism. He went to school, and met a few friends over the years, until the time to move away came again, this time for college. It was at this point where life started to take a nosedive, away from the pleasantries.
And it all started with the Eternal Divide. Ryan was living in his college dorms not to far away from the RnD departments of the former Endymion. He actually liked the area quite well, his peers were nice and the teachers were easy to understand. He was taking art courses, seeing as his eye for the craft had only improved since highschool. He was around for the big event in the RnD Area toghether with a few friends, to take a small break from the studying... when calamity struck. All hell broke loose, with Demons running amok. He had never seen anything like it. Fortunately for him and his classmates, they survived, forever scarred by the atrocities commited by the demons.
Life moved on, while Ryan had a hard time doing so... the school he was studying at shut down after the tragedy, and understandably so, seeing as a good 60% of it's students had been lost to the Divide. Ryan was around, however, to see the city recover... Remarkably well, as a matter of fact. The woman, Queen Isla, had just showed up one day, taken charge and in just 5 yearsm Endymion was reborn, bigger and better than it had ever been before. Most took this without giving things a second thought, but Ryan, now being a 24 year-old forced drop-out, was suspicious. This woman just showed up, and shaped the place into what would become a totalitarian city-state, with one supreme ruler. It was restrictive. He could no longer express himself as an artist legally with as much freedom as he used to. And he hated it. His passion for art had been ruined by some woman with an attitude. Just because she had returned the city from basically ashes to what it was today, did it give her any right to rule it like some goddess? Hell no, and Ryan sure as hell didn't like what he saw. The masses were blind to it all, but not him. Of course, he wouldn't act out on his grievances with how the place was ran. He still liked the general area, and... he had nowhere else to go, really. Showing up on his parent's doorstep now would just be awkward. So, he stuck around, hoping that one day, the city would be free from it's tyrants rule.
