| You enter a strange, otherworldly room with a glowing blue crack on the wall in front of you. The crack seems to be almost pulsing... There is a table with a phone, a VR helmet hooked up to a computer, and what appears to be a photo showing people you don't recognize. On the wall to the left of you. The phone suddenly starts buzzing. The Caller ID is Unknown. Answer? Y/N. - If you did...:
A unfamiliar voice begins to speak. "Hello? This is Takeru Kagemaru, speaking. If you're hearing this, then I have a chance. You see, this place was built by some friends and I to harness the time-space rift here as a source of entertainment. Except we underestimated it. We all did. You see... due to a series of....unfortunate circumstances, I, and the others with me were sucked into the rift. When that occurred, I believe the reality of the stand itself changed. While I am alive, and relatively safe, the others... well... they didn't get off so lucky. Anyways, the trip had several side effects, namely causing space-time rifts that have resulted in myself and the others being thrown into different eras of time and different places. All of them are also in peril. As well as dimensional damage that must be fixed. If even one of them were to die, or the damage went unchecked... Well, i'd rather not think about it.
Now, my hands are tied currently, having had to accomplish several needed things in order to keep this reality from getting damaged any further, meaning I can't quite help you... but I did leave something behind. The device hooked up to the computer is called a Blick Winkel machine. The Computer itself serves as a guidance system: Your consciousness will be temporarily transmitted to someone else's mind, and you will control them, and guide them to success. The system currently has the power to only transmit one person at a time, however, so please bear that in mind. I have also had each situation codenamed and with a description label so that you have some idea of what's going on there. Some of these involve saving the people that fell in, but many of them are tasks that completion will result in the dimensional damage being repaired.
Any items in your possession will also not be carried over. Keep that in mind as well. In exchange for assisting me, the computer is programmed to dispense a reward for doing so, namely tickets. Do you understand? You are the only people capable of saving me at this point. I can do nothing but watch and wait and pray. Do not fail me. That is all."
The Phone hangs up. There is a button to replay the message...
- OOC:
Translation: These challenges will have you take control of characters with predetermined stats and skills that I will PM you once you sign on. Using them, you will be required to fight off (usually) an enemy with the option to (or being forced to use) creative gimmick(s) to do so successfully. Arc 1, being the solo arc (yes, this has multiple arcs, more on that later), and some challenges have multiple parts for... well... reasons. Challenges involving PU's have 3 parts, challenges involving Cadets and ASSW's 2, and all other classes, 1.
Arc 2 is for certain "groups" that will be unlocked and revealed throughout the various completion scenarios.
As for reward, you claim, atm, a good 30 tickets per battle (subject to change), and a novelty item related to the challenge. As before, please post below if you would like to attempt one.
Turn on the computer? Y/N. - If so..:
There is a list of names and descriptions attached to them. Clicking one causes a confirmation notice to pop up, and the device hooked up to it to start humming. The list is as follows, currently:
-Arc 1: (Note: anything in parenthesis here is OOC):
FOOL: Once upon a time, there was a Persona-using adventurer named Morgan Jones. This is his story, the story of how he overcame a temple with three terrifying guardians, and the treasure he found as a result...
MAGICIAN: The ASSW known as Firon Stel is an assistant to the great Dr. Mercer, the scientist designing a magnificent heat source of geothermal energy, the Neo Solaris core. Unfortunately, the core has attracted a race of alien beings known as Cyrolians to Earth that seek to bring about a new ice age to the planet. It is up to Firon to stop them, for only he can withstand the cold temperatures of their mothership...
PRIESTESS: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
EMPRESS: Aquilla Sui, a female rogue from a faraway land has chanced upon a tribe of desert natives under attack by a massive viper called a Droughtnaught, who has been obstructing a large part of the only river in the village for the last day or so. The village is beginning to slowly suffer because of it, and only she has the means to stop it... that is, if she can survive it.
EMPEROR: Victor Voltaire, a rogue who was flung into a whole new universe due to a blast of cosmic thunder, has found Axel under attack by it's natives, the Teravoltians, beings starved of electricity they require. Victor must save Axel from being sacrificed to restart the Eternal Dynamo, the Teravoltians means of gathering electricity usually.... or die trying.
HEIROPHANT: ACCOUNTED FOR.
LOVERS: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. ACCOUNTED FOR.
CHARIOT: Majinzo Miyamoto, a Shadow Self said to be a alleged bastard son of Musashi Miyamoto, is a serial samurai killer in Feudal Japan, targeting swordsmen with legendary swords, and taking them when he wins. Today, Majinzo has lured another samurai who's sword he desires to his lair... but will they meet the same fate as all the others, or...?
JUSTICE: Tyrest Russel, a Cadet who has become a wandering lawman in a apocalypse-wrecked world, is out enforcing the law of a land many would call dead. But he ignores them, preferring to make his own way in life. Today, however, a most unusual set of cases presents itself to him...
HERMIT: In medieval times, a female forgotten known only as "The Siren" runs from a medieval witch-hunting inquistion. Wishing not to harm them if at all possible, she hopes to drive them away with the help of her demon weapon... The question is, can she?
FORTUNE: Traveling one-ASSW band Gaston Lubbock faces trouble in a run-in with sky pirates, and a hostage to save under the name of John Smith, to boot. Can they and the crew of The Soaring Sonata take down the pirates, or will they be the ones ascending to heaven?
STRENGTH: A Heel Luchador of a Shadow Self named Clint Norris seeks to take it all, be it in or out of the ring. The only difference is, as a bunch of thugs find out, is that in the ring, he holds himself back. Outside of it... well... they're about to have a bad time...
HANGED MAN: Ian Azriel, the lone, mysterious Forgotten guardian of the peaceful town of New Dorado, is considered legend by many who would seek the treasures of New Dorado. However, one man, a fearsome bandit named Odion Grey seeks to rob it, considering Ian just that: a legend. Too bad this legend is all too real... and ready to defend New Dorado to his last breath.
DEATH: In a world ruled by monsters, Johnathan "John" Thaumiel is one of the few that actively investigates (and stops) them. It is on one of these cases that he finds Henry... only for them to become besieged by a ravenous horde of undead. Will they join the ranks of these reviled corpses, or will they live to the tale...?
TEMPERANCE: Raye Shepard, a Forgotten Theoretican who finds himself in a world full of paradoxes and glitches in reality, soon finds his fascination turned to fear as he fights for a way out.
DEVIL: Vincent Cobb is a Persona-Using hitman for the Mafia nicknamed "Velvet Red" for his love of Red Velvet Cake... which he always has after a successful job. Usually, he has no trouble at all doing this, however, today's target, a rival Don, has quite a.... unique bodyguard. Will he be able to send his target to sleep with the fishies, or will he be the one doing so?
TOWER: Leon Takumi was a former star athlete who's life was ruined by a disastrous affair with the wife of a high-ranking official. Now, he is a Shadow Self driven mad by guilt and betrayal, little more than a berserker with shreds of thought for a brain. Tonight is the night he takes revenge on all those who he feels betrayed him... the question is, however, will he actually succeed...?
STAR: An ASSW designed for Arctic Combat, Cyril Omega, finds Telos frozen solid in ice deep within the Antarctic. However, Telos is not the only thing frozen that Cyril unknowingly frees while freeing Telos from his icy tomb...
MOON: A Shadow Self named Christopher Lune is a mad scientist who cares for nothing but himself and his twisted experiment subjects. It is one of those subjects that he decides to "test" today... By deciding to have it attack him to determine it's combat ability. However foolish this may seem, Christopher is not a fool... He is a lunatic, a difference of which the beast will experience firsthand...
SUN: In a world where vampires walk the earth, a rogue named Sonny Veradaux has the means, and the desire to eliminate them all so that the people can live in safety again. It is one of these vampires that he challenges today, only to find that this is not what it seems...
LUST: Edward Drake is a ASSW thief who was thrown into a room with all of his desires at his fingertips. Or so he thought. Instead, something else greeted him...
AEON: Grant Memoria is a Forgotten who got stuck somewhere in a place where nobody remembers. The question now is, with his mind already beginning to forget, can he escape before he too forgets, or will he be just one more who forgot...?
MAGUS: Ulysses Kimball is a cadet who seeks to change the world for his benefit. He has all the tools and means to do it... the question now is, can he? (Note: This quest has only one part to it).
JESTER: Akira Masaru is one of the few PU's left sane in a world of psychos, madmen, and so much more. Can he survive the madness, or will the madness consume him...?
