| As Frog attempted to lift the bag of kibble, something went wrong in the inner workings on his back and he felt a quick but sharp jolt of pain followed by a cracking sound. Next thing he knew he was on the floor with the large bag of dog food forcefully pressing down against his stomach. "Urp-" was the only response he could muster at the girl's prod, stuck in this uncomfortable position. His hands were stuck under the kibble as well as he was lifting it and it took him the full extent of his physical ability to push off the bag to the side and off of himself. Relinquished from the predicament, he gasped a deep sigh of relief and relaxed his arms to his sides.
"Ggggngh..." | |

| "This is very much a predicament," she admitted. Now her body was ready to give out. She did the only safe thing she could do and set the bag back down on the ground.
Wow, okay, that's an impressive strain on my neck and shoulders. I don't know how far I can carry the bag if he lives far...
"We need a plan," she replied, doing her best to keep a professional posture. It was obvious that she wanted to collapse and sit on the ground. Yet through sheer will power, she decided to endure.
"This is an inn, right? There must be some equipment we can borrow here. I'll go and ask." With that, she left to try and ask for something they could use to carry the bags home.
OOC: I'll let you have first dibs on if she finds something worth while or not.

| Frog got back up on his feet just as Masako was putting down the bag. Wow, she was really getting serious about all this, he thought to himself as he watched her go on her way, sending her off with a slight wave of his hand.
After a few moments though, Frog found himself facing a predicament. "Eheheh...so now what?" He glanced around at the crowd. He didn't want to go around asking the official staff of the inn if they could help them carry friggin' kibbled bags around. Especially not after he'd embarrassed himself sleeping on the table like that. So he just stood around and hoped the girl would find something, nervously stepping around in circles to appear as if he'd actually been doing something when she got back.- Spoiler:
1 - Masako finds help. 2 or 3 - Masako gets stopped by the security while looking for help and she and Frog get kicked out after the maids inform the innkeep of everything that happened with the mysterious kibble bags and Frog sleeping on the table- Random number (1,3) :
- 3

| Whelp, she found someone, alright, and she was more than not happy with the results.
"Ma'am, I understand how this works," the man replied, "but policies are policies, and I have to-"
She gave him a very authoritative stare. There should be no reason for this. At the very least, they should be able to take into consideration her position as a Cadet, and with it the security of knowing that even borrowed equipment would be returned to them.
"P-please understand, ma'am, my hands are tied on this! I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you and your friend to leave!" The poor man was sweating bullets.
Masako continued to give the man her authoritative stare, but then decide to let up. Sadly, even if she did have a Cadet's authority, she was also by the book. The book specifically states that she was not to abuse this authority unless it is absolutely for official Cadet business, and being a good samaritan was unfortunately not one such case.
"Fine," she replied as she walked away with the bad news. The man breathed a sigh of relief. Never before had he felt so much tension from just speaking to a who appeared to be a teen. A very tall teen, but a teen none-the-less.
"Bad news," She said as she returned to frog, grabbing one of the bags and straining to hold it over her shoulder. "We're being kicked out." Wordlessly, she walked out with the bag, slowly in order to be able to maintain a proper balance. Apparently she was determined to at least get one of these bags of his home for him.
How did he even carry them to as far as here before?! she wondered. If they were this heavy, then the question of how he got this far was a sudden prevalent one.

| Frog was just being busy examining one of the local plants by the entrance to the inn when he jumped as he heard Masako's voice calling him out, landing to face her with a plastered grin on his face. "W-wha..?" He frowned at what she said, surprise breaking through his fake grin. He watched the girl pick up one of the bags and slowly start carrying it. This short daze only lasted a moment though, as in the very next second, the young man was spewing complaints, theatrically gesturing- more like flailing his hands around in a pretend play. "Oh, and just as I was about to find some help. Great. Just great. Oh welp, my house ain't that far, luckily." His shoulders slumped as he shrugged. "Seriously, what nerve, kicking us out." He added through his teeth once they were out, the burdening weight of the kibble pressing down on his back. "Like we did anything wrooong. Friggin' inn. I'm never gonna come here again!!!" Frog swung a clenched fist at the inn as the two of them slowly walked away.
"Anyways. Who are you even, if I may ask?" He glanced at the girl after a while.

| Perhaps a bit of an over reaction, but best not to argue with one who has seen a lot of stress, Masako thought to herself, Just focus on getting this to the goal.
She wanted to put more of her energy into just carrying the bags. It made her wonder just how big the dog in question was, or if the dog was a demon in disguise. To need such big heavy bags...
Well, thinking about it now would be redundant.
After a small pause of grunting...
"Mitsurugi," she replied, "Masako Mitsurugi. And I'll agree, it is... disappointing. At the least... they could have loaned... a cart."

| Frog nodded as the girl said her name. Or maybe he nodded under the weight of the bag pressing down on him. "Pleased to meet you." He answered briefly, eyes focused on the road ahead. "We're close by, but still, like, why're you even helping me, tho? You some kind of hero or something?" Grinning at himself, the young man kept walking ahead and leading the girl called Masako towards his house... | |

| Masako, a hero... what a thought.
Outwardly, she was as stoic as gritting teeth and a grimace face of pain would allow her.
Inwardly, she suddenly started thinking of herself as a Personanger, complete with costume and heroic pose. If only it were true...
"I'm flattered that you would think as such," she would replied as she continued onward, following his lead with every step she miraculously could muster, "But I wouldn't quite consider myself a hero as of yet. I'm merely a fledgling Cadet. As a Cadet, it is our duty to be ready to assist anyone in need. So I make it a point to be ready to help out at a moments notice..."

| Everything started nice and slow, yup, until the girl mentioned she was a Cadet and a momentary shadow cast itself across Frog's face as his blood ran cold. He was a Terrorist now. Cadets were bad. Or something like that. He could only imagine what they did to captured Terrorists...yibbles...though this girl didn't really look bad or anything. She was still the government's slave-
Actually, whatever. He was starting to creep himself out too much with this paranoia. She couldn't know he was a Terrorist. He hadn't even made himself public yet. So for now, Frog decided to let it go and keep at it. For now.
"And a Cadet's duty is to help out random strangers?" His grin shook this time. "Don't you like, I mean, catch bad guys and stuff? Or do 'fledgling' Cadets have to do this sort of dumb thing like help carry someone's dog food?"

| In a way, he was lucky they were carrying such heavy bags. They served as an excellent distraction, forcing her to focus only on moving forward. Sure made it difficult to notice any minor details.
"Well, that is one of the basic Duties of a Cadet, yes," she replied. "And to be fair, I haven't gone on a lot of missions as of yet. I am hoping to be able to get more involved with more missions to gain the experience. Oof... As for this... we've all had our hard times, I'm sure. I just like being able to offer assistance, if it'll lessen the burden for anyone..."
This bag was actually a really good test of her patience. Already she wanted to know how much further it was to his home, but she kept that question unasked. She didn't want to seem impatient, and impatience was very unprofessional.

| Frog grunted a few times. The bag was really hard on his back as they kept walking and walking...had his house always been this far from the damn inn? He was sure they should've arrived at its doorstep already. Friggin'...he just wanted to get to a nice comfy bed and sleep this tiredness away. But that wasn't happening. Not with the second appointment he had for the night. Two nights in a row. Talk about harsh circumstances. Kinda made him appreaciate the girl helping him out, even if she was a Cadet. Speaking of...how did he even actually manage to get the two bags this far on his own? Last he boarded out of the taxi was around the goddamn mall. And that was far away. Kinda. Maybe he had some further hidden latent powers that were beggining to awaken now that he was tired? Like sundown and the moon rising to the skies above. Cheesy.
"Really?" He asked. "I had no clue you people had to do minor helpings around the city. Figured that was for kindergarden scouts and whatnots. But whatevs, I'm grateful to you." He stopped for a moment to turn to her. He was the older one here-time to show some maturity. Frog looked at the girl straight in the eye. Or well, as close as the weight of the bag allowed his spine to bend. "Y'know, if you don't wanna, you don't have to carry the bag all the way to my home. I'll take care of it for now."

| Was this his way of saying that what she did was enough? Or was he trying to be polite to her? In either case, it was polite of him to take a moment to ask such a simple question, even if he didn't think to set down the bag first.
To be fair, she wasn't setting down her bag either. She was dead set on getting her half of the burden as close to his home as he could manage, and there was really only one thing that would stop her at this point.
"Are you certain? I am indeed willing to go all the way, but if you feel this is enough, then I'll... try to set the bag someplace convenient for you." She was a meticulous kind of person. She wanted to be absolutely certain that her assistance was no longer needed. Though it does beg the question, considering the struggle they were having just to lift it up, was he really sure he could manage? And even if he could, how was he going to carry both bags?! On his back? If he could manage that, then perhaps he would be a worlds more stubborn than she is. And she can be pretty stubborn.

| "Oh bananas, of course I'm certain!" Frog raised his voice before pouting. It always ticked him off when the other person was so unprepared to honor another's wishes. Acting like that always just made him have to repeat what he'd said, no matter how uncomfortable saying it made him feel. And it usually made him a heck of a lot uncomfortable. "Look, I'll just call someone at home and they'll come help me. It's just around the corner anyways. I don't know. If you want to keep going then let's keep going. Hmph." He continued, his words barely making sense even to him. This is what he hated so much about people that didn't let go-they always knocked him off his balance and now he was swaying back and forth at the edge of an overexaggerated mental cliff.
And for no real reason at all. Actually, yeah, for a reason-because he tried to be polite. Damn this bag was really pushing down at him...he really wouldn't be able to carry both of them. "Hmph. All right." He turned away from the girl. "Then let's keep going."
After literally a minute or so of walking, they found themselves in front of Frog's house. Or well, the gates to the yard of Frog's house. The house itself was big and painted a pale yellow, with windows framed brown. It was the house number 26 in the street, indicated by a rather biggish number glued to the front of the house diagonally above the door. When they arrived, Frog breathed a sigh of relief as he dropped the bag on the pavement. "Oh my god that was horrible." He exclaimed as he stretched out. He looked at the girl once more. "So yeah, we're here, so thanks, I guess."

| Outwardly, as seems to be the case, she showed no expression, other than gritted teeth and grimmace. Inwardly, she was taken aback by his sudden shouting and ranting. What kind of way was that to answer to simply wanting confirmation? Well, there was no point in arguing now, he seems to have made up his mind. Well, he made up his mind. Would be a waste to question it.One minute... why in the world did one minute feel like fifteen... or twenty... or an hour... Keep it together, Masako, you are only inwardly complaining due to the weight. This will be rectified as soon as possible. I will not let this go to my head. Oh a house, and he's stopping by it! Thank the Queen! Since she was here, she may as well take in the sights of the house. They must be doing rather well to afford a house like this. Then again, I wouldn't know. The majority of my life was spent in apartments and dormitories. I suppose any house would leave an impression on me afterwards...While there was no visible evidence of it happening, she could have sworn that the bag cracked the pavement as it was dropped. Since no such thing occurred, she may as well drop the bag nearby. Unless he himself invited her in to continue to assist, she considered this as far as she could go legally. "Always happy to assist," she replied with a salute. "I'll leave you to it. If ever you are in need of assistance, know that the Cadets are always there to serve." Of course she meant with official Cadet business such as crimes or anything involving the supernatural, but that should have been obvious. Unless he has more to say to her, she would make a bow and take her leave of the estate. [Exit unless Frog stops her] | |

| "Aye aye, miss Cadet." He saluted Masako with his hand jokingly, grinning. "I'll call you next time I need a lift, or some of your friends. It's gonn' be way easier with more people." Frog waved the girl goodbye with this one final notion, as sun slowly began to descend upon the faraway horizon. An omen of tonight's events. For they were about to crack open the Platinum Playhous just like the sun cracks open the soil beneath their feet, seeking shelter from the looming night coming for it-!
Ah, the beauty of life.
Frog walked away inside to get his sis to help him out. Because his sis was as strong as the Hulk.
