"Hm?" Brittany blinked once, twice...then at the third time, like the lamps of her rationality got turned on inside her brain, she understood the purpose of that question. Quite an amusing deduction from Nebula, enough to make Brittany laugh, but an inaccurate one. "Noooo! I'm not getting married anytime soon! I don't even think I can! Like, I don't have time...and besides, I actually, you know, need a boyfriend first or something? A man?" She said it in a matter-of-fact tone mixed with her usual good mood. "You would think being a model would draw the guys' interest, but naaah. I tell you, some of them are even scared because of it. Like they're afraid of the fame or intimidated because you, like, have a career and they don't, you feel me? Some guys are just like that, they don't like if the woman is more successful than them! Silly, right? That and..." Her voice seemed to trail of, just like the carefree way she spoke about her romantic life... There was something in her mind, yet she rubbed it off shaking her head and returning the customary smile to her face. "So yep, not marrying anytime soon. You probably have more chances at it than me! Some guys like that kind of girl. Shy and all. I can tell you'd have a crowd of nerds from my school fawning all over you and your talents! Totally!" One hand has gone to her lips, covering the girl's laugh. It was an amusing thought, but she had a feeling she was right under the joke: Nebula was just the favorite type of geeks, nerds and otakus.

"Y-You don't have a b-boyfriend?" The young artist was relatively shocked by this. Brittany was so pretty and nice, surely she must have had guys falling head over heels for her, right? "I-I would've thought, yknow... s-since you l-look like that, you would h-have had one. Unlike me..." Nebula would refrain from commenting. Though she didn't distrust Brittany, she certainl considered the possibility that she might unknowingly say something incorrect, much as she felt was the case here. Lonely or not (either party), Nebula thought that nobody would try to romance a disgusting freak like herself. It just wan't reasonable thinking to her. Regardless, Brittany gave off the idea that she wasn't up for debating that statement, so Nebula promptly decided not to do so.

Nebula checked the time on her phone. She really needed to get going if she wanted to make it home in time for rendering and drafting everything and having some free time to eat dinner and the such. Unfortunately, this interaction would have to be cut short, it seemed. "U-Ummm... I h-have to go now, b-but let's keep in touch, o-okay?" She would then offer to exchange contact info with Brittany. Friends were an invaluable commodity and an imperative neccessity at the same time for the blonde, so she was determined to prove herself useful in some way or another to people she met, the first step of which began with keeping in touch.

Regardless of Brit's indulgement (or possible lack thereof), Nebula would give a polite bow, hug her sketchbook tightly, and leave before it got too late.

To Nebula's insistent surprise upon the revelation Brittany was single, the girl simply shook her head, laughing. It was funny how she thought beauty opens such doors. If anything, it draws admirers to your company, like moths attracted to a tiny flame or light. Whether they stick around or not, it was a complete different matter.

"Hm? Oooooh! Alright! Oh my, my friends will be so jealous when I tell them I befriended an artist!" She giggled mischievously as the hand invaded her bag to pick the pink cellphone of hers. Once each of the two ladies finished registering the other one's contact into their friend list, Brittany smiled satisfied. "Cool! I should be going home as well, need to get ready for tonight. Hit me up if anything!" And so the girl waved goodbye to the shy, but incredibly talented artist she met, walking down the opposite direction as she glanced once again to the piece of art in her hands.
