The male by the name of Yozonami would find himself within a room of blue. He'd be sitting in a chair across a table from a rather older gentleman with a peculiar nose. Standing by this man's side would be a young woman with keen yellow hues and bleached white hair. Her skin was deathly pale, as though she never had even seen the sun once in her life. If Yozonami were to survey his surroundings, he'd be able to take a guess that he was in what appeared to be a plane of some sort. A rather large one with first class properties. Though when he looked towards the cabin windows, he'd see nothing but fog outside. Was he truly on this strange plane, or was it a dream? There would be alot to process with the two strange looking people infront of him, and the various tables spread out across the room. However, with the smooth melody coming from a faceless man playing a piano, and a woman humming into a microphone, towards the center of the room; the place almost seemed rather peaceful. Like a safe haven.
After giving the male time to take in his surroundings, the odd man with the long nose would fold his hands over his lap, as he'd lean forward in the chair with a wide grin. "Welcome to the Velvet Room." His words were clear, and could easily be heard. "We've recently had the pleasure of meeting a guest like you. My name is Igor, and this is Justine, one of my assistants. We are delighted to make your acquaintance." As the man, now known as Igor, spoke of Justine, the female would give a slight bow towards Yozonami in greeting. "We reside in this Velvet Room." Igor was sure to take small breaks in his monologue towards the young female. After all, this was surely alot to take in. Especially when you suddenly were to wake up in such a room with no previous knowledge of how you've gotten there. "This place exists between mind and matter...A room for those who have signed a contract...A contract for those who have unlocked their potential." The man would turn his palm upwards towards the ceiling, and in the palm of his hand a glowing card would suddenly appear within existence. It hovered above his palm, slowly turning repeatedly. If Yozonami took a good look at it, he'd be able to see a image of the sun and the word "Sun" on the face of the card. However, the card would suddenly shatter into bright blue lights that resembled pearls and then would vanish.
"Within you is the power of the "Sun" Arcana. The power of a shining bright youth with happiness to cleanse the darkness in others. Personas of the Sun Arcana are well versed in the burning of light..Ah..! Excuse me, I am getting ahead of myself. I am sure you wish to know what a Persona is...?" Igor would lean back into his seat with his fingers entwined around each other. "A Persona is a manifestation of your psyche. It is a facet of your personality that surfaces as you react to external stimuli... You can think of it as a mask that protects you from life's hardships. That being said, your power is still weak. When you use your Persona ability, you must channel your inner strength. The ability evolves, as you develop social links--your emotional ties with others. The stronger the ties, the more powerful your Persona will become." The man's voice would suddenly fall into a low hum, as Justine would take a step forward to take over the conversation.
"As my master has already said, you need external stimuli to unlock your Persona. That, my dear, is where I come in. If I may be so bold, I'd like to force your Persona out through extreme stress. Only then will your potential be fully realized." Holding the Persona Compendium in her hand, Justine would make her way towards a red door that stood towards the side of the room. Standing infront of the door, the young woman would open it and look towards the one named Yozonami. "I am sure you have many questions, but time still marches on in your world. Thus, this must be an expedited process. Step through the door when you are ready. To unlock your true inner strength, you must face yourself amidst uncertainty. I will be there to assist you just this once." The doorway led straight to the heart of "Limbo": a place that shaped itself to those who entered it. It was the one true location where one could hope to unlock their potential, yet at the same time it was rather dangerous to traverse alone.

"Is this a dream...Or is this some illusion i created in my head. A fantasy world to escape reality? Or is this reality...and im just now escaping the fantasy. Does this place reallyexist...or am i just dreaming...again.
A dim light filled Yozonomi's blurred vision as his eyes slowly opened and began to take in his surroundings. The last thing he could remember was day dreaming alone on his bed, he must have dozed off. But this sensation felt real, not like a dream but like a world that was real, and yet was not at the same time. None of this made any sense to him, he wanted to believe it was just all in his head, a peaceful dream that took him away from the stress and pains of reality, but something would not allow him to fully believe this was fake. Like an inbetween sense, that he was here and not here altogether. Regardless of what was real and what was imaginary, this was all taking place before him, and he was going to go along for the ride.
The room Yozo sat in was a odd room, dimly lit, yet there was no sign of a light source anywhere. The windows to the cabin were fogged, no not the windows, but the entire exterior of this place was a swirling blackness, a place he could not quite wrap his mind around. He had little time to take in the room for sitting across from him was a strange little man, with a crooked nose and a devious smile. The violet haired teen rubbed his eyes a little and continued to stare at this man, trying to absorb what was going on, while the man began to speak. Inbetween words Yozo took glances, trying to analyze the area the best he could, while catching only half of what this man had to say.
Here he was, in a day dream, day dreaming. He caught a few words, like Velvet Room, Sun, and Persona. He knew not really what these things were or what any of them stood for, after all this was a dream right? Everything would go back to normal when he awoke. However the dream continued on, with this strange man talking as if what he was saying was some of the most important things Yozo would ever hear. It was not until the blonde female sitting to the side stood and spoke that he finally snapped to attention. In all of his analyzing he had failed to notice her sitting there quietly, and now she was directly adressing him. She spoke of unlocking a persona, and being forced through extreme stress to unlock some kind of hidden potential. She then motioned towards a red door that also went unnoticed until now.
The door was a bright red, and was just sitting there as if it was awaiting yozonami to open its door and proceed through. The blonde haired woman wore a warm welcoming smile and assured him that she would be there to assist him this time. With slight hesitation Yozonami walked to the door, and allowed his hand to rest on the handle. What was the worst that could happen? After all this was just a dream, and he could control his own dreams right? Maybe this door would wake him, maybe it was the bridge between his dreams and the real world. All he had to do was walk through right? so the teen took a deep a breath, swallowed and pushed the door open.

As the boy opened the door, he would be swallowed by a blood red light and would be transported directly into "Limbo." Once his presence was complete gone from the Velvet Room, Justine would tilt her head with a quizzical look. "Master, it appears alot of our recent guests come from the same region. How strange." The young woman pinched her chin between her index and thumb while closing her eyes. It appeared as though she was in thought, though she wasn't much of a thinker. To save her time, Igor would lean forward in his chair and speak up to his faithful assistant. "A Persona is a great power that responds to a need, not a desire. With such an influx of guests coming from the same area, it can only be speculated that a great tragedy will soon befall that region." His words were as calm and interested as usual, showcasing how comfortable he was with passing grave news. No one really could tell if Igor was human, or something else; however these rare moments did show that he had the capability of appearing cold and inhumane. It was his job, after all, to follow the orders of Philemon and assist those with the potential of Persona. On the other side, he was simply there to aid them, not guide them. They had to find their own answers to stop the tragedies that befell their lives so suddenly. So now here he was..awaiting the results of Yozonami's battle against himself with nothing but a smile.
Justine watched her master with wide golden eyes before turning towards the red door herself. "Limbo" was just a step away now. Those of the Velvet Room lived in a plain adjacent from that of "Limbo." At one time Philemon was concerned that the two worlds had the possibility of crossing into one another, which would become quite a problem for those that needed the aid of the room itself. Whatever "Limbo" was, it was a threat to not only the natural plain of existence, but also the supernatural. Everyone would need to play their part to find the truth behind its creation, and Justine knew this first hand. This was why she didn't hesitate to open the crimson door and follow the boy named Yozonami into the demented world of "Limbo." With a simple turn of the wrist, the room attendant was bathed in a blood red light and transported into "Limbo" aswell.
