| The hat wearing blonde walked with his mother down the busy shopping street, a somewhat tired look on his face. He didn't really enjoy this part of town close to where he lived. It was always so noisy, and the noise hurt his ears! Plus, the parties that happened here every night were always so identical... It just felt like all the 'special' was sapped out of this place.
The boy cared, but he didn't really know what to do about that. With an indifferent thought though, they might have candy apples or something! That was a treat they didn't normally have at the bakery but was very common here on the 'special'-less place. Maybe a snow cone? Hm... Now it was a bit of a game with Proxy to find festival food!
His mom would stop at a booth selling small trinkets, the boy standing close by as he eyed the booths for something tasty to eat. He didn't know exactly where to look... But there had to be a booth somewhere with delicious snacks and treats! The question was where...

| In the distance, there was a small crowd around a stall called Hit Scrolls Entertaiment. Right next to him was a small kind of food stall that was making character shaped cookies and waffle like snacks while gabe had a small collection of his manga that he was personally signing. "That you for the support everyone. And be sure to pick up a nice snack of your favorite character. The love game candied apples are specially good.Gabe would say as he made a dashing pose in order to attempt to attract people to buy. He needed more traffic at the store. He didn't know why it was moving so slow, but he hoped people would be more interested. Though, at the corner of his eye, he noticed someone recognizable. "Ahh, welcome Zavie!" Gabe would say with a wave from his stall. | |

| The boy was a bit away from Gabe, and while the crowd was loud, he was able to hear his call with his useful ears. His head would look over to him, a wave of his hand signifying he had heard him somehow. The boy would tug on his mom's arm, the older woman looking at the young man with a small sigh. She really wished the boy wouldn't be such a social butterfly... But with a light nod of her head, she walked the boy over to the young man's stall.
"Hello, Gabe! What are you doing here? I did not know you worked here." he'd say with a small smile, his mother eyeing the booth with a small frown on her face. Manga? Was this man a manga artist or something? If so, that wasn't a very reasonable career choice. Though, she couldn't deny its popularity in Little Tokyo... Maybe it was more honorable than she gave it credit? She didn't really know, but the booth next to the young man's, a book stand, caught her interest immediately. She'd take a small step to the side to browse the seller's wares there, Zavie looking at Gabe's manga instead.
"What are these? Are they picture books? I used to have some when I was a kid, you know! My favorite one was about a cute little cat with a big hat!" he'd say with a happy smile. It wasn't Cat in the Hat, no, but just a small home made book his mom had made him about a cat with a big hat to his his ears. Looking back at it, it was probably so the boy would get into the habit of wearing hats to hide his ears... But he didn't care much about that. He just loved the cute cat with the cute hat!

| "What's it look like, i'm changing the world my dear boy. "Gabe would say as he swayed his hands over to his wares. Just for today, you can get the first issues of my books at a discounted price. Well, manga books. " Gabe then pointed to the food. "I also have manga themed treats that you can buy separately, or come free with every purchase depending on the book. They are really good. " Gabe picked up one punch frost and flipped through the pages showing Zavie. "Nothing of the sort, the cat in the hat has nothing on one punch frost. Though, i am thinking of a new character to introduce, you just reminded me. Maybe you will get a cat character, who knows. But this is all Hit Scrolls Entertainment, so it's not just manga we sell. | |

| Changing the world? Through manga? That seemed a little hard, the boy thought... They were just picture books, right? Like, cartoons in paper form! He didn't really watch TV though, and he read actual books now that he was older but... Why exactly were picture books going to change the world?
"Changing the world? Huh? How?" he'd ask with a tilt of his head and look of moderate confusion on his face. He was really confused by this... But he wanted a treat so he'd stick around for right now! He'd look at the book Gabe had showed him, not really understanding it much.
"You want to put me in your picture book? That would be really cool! But, I am a little confused still... You do more than sell picture books?" he'd ask with even more confusion and curiosity than before. None of this made any sense to him... But he was eager to learn what Gabe liked to do! And sweets! Yup!

| "How? Well, i think that enjoyment is essential to anyones everyday life. Can you imagine just being stuck with work and whatever you feel responsible with and not having any fun? If you can, how about repeating that every single day. Maybe, coming home to read some good material would change something, awaken something in someone. The fact that there is a time of play for all ages, even adults, in something as simple as a manga..or in your sense, picture book.
Now, about putting zavie in the book...
"Well, maybe not you and your full name. But sometimes people takes concepts and transform them , or atleast little bits and pieces of that thing, into a whole new breed of content. You might seem like a regular kid to others, but your look, actions..personality..that's inspiration to others... or anyone that can gain from it and used it creatively. "
Moving on. "I do.. or i will.. but now its just character related sweets. Would you like to try one?

| He'd listen with a small tilt to his head. So, he wanted to change the world via his works? To make people happy with his books? That seemed like a nice thing to do, though, did a lot of people read books like these? It confused him... But Gabe seemed to enjoy it, so he'd smile after he finished his statement.
"Oh, okay... I understand, I think... It sounds like what you do with your books I do with the things that I bake! I want people to be happy when they eat them. That is kind of like what you are doing, yes?" he'd say with a small nod of his head, Proxy idly ignoring the conversation in favor for the books the boy's mother was looking at. She had good taste, hm...
"So you would make a person that would remind people of me. Alright! If you make a character like me, make sure to tell me! I want to read what he does!" he'd say optimistically, eager to see what someone like Gabe could do. He didn't read often, but when he did he really enjoyed seeing what characters would do. It made him wonder what would happen with his character.
"Ah! Sweets? What kind? Are they candy or chocolate or cookies or cakes or something like that?" he'd ask excitedly, a happy smile on his face. When it came to sweets, the boy absolutely loved them and knew them quite well. After all, he started this conversation in search of sweets!

| "Well, they arent anything like what you do. The kind of sweets that you would get from a professional bakery and all that, but they are still pretty good. What i have for you today is candy apples. However, the caramel is glazed on lightly, so it'll be easier to bite into the apple without your teeth getting stuck or anything. " Gabe then moved his hand to the next wares. "I also have one punch frost sugar cookies. These are the promotional items that basically go with every book sale, so the first that come and buy, they kind of get the set as well. It's a good deal, only because it stress the important of manga sales and whatnot. | |
