This would definable be a pain if Gabe decided to go into dangerous territory that is the dungeon if he was sober. So with that being said Gabe felt as if the best idea that he could possibly go for, is to well... be drunk. Ok, maybe not drunk, that's a bit of a stretch and Gabe didnt want to pass out in a weird place. But with selenus attacking him, trinity annoyed with him, tatsui being quite the follower and dealing with everyone elses nonsense later on, Gabe was having quite the hard time.

"A Guinness please.... Gabe would say as he sat down at the bar.

A woman sat a few seats down, downing a tall glass of something that didn't look child-friendly. She took a heavy gulp of the tall and thin glass and set it on the table. She chuckled to herself and called the bartender for another. "Oi! Not getting any younger here, another!" She said with a wide and happy grin on her face before leaning back in her seat. She seemed to be a bit tipsy, but something about her was intimidating. She had a few scars on the exposed parts of her body namely her arms, and were someone to look under her hair, one of her eyes would be milky white. A war wound perhaps? She looked to be more than just a beauty in the bar from the first look, did someone have the nerve to approach her?

"I was expecting someone to be more loud and rowdy later in the light...." Gabe would think about it in that regard when he looked to the left of him, noticing the woman. She definitely seems to have been through alot. Which is something that could be said for anyone really, internal wounds are the ones that are hard to notice. "Hmm.." Gabe finished his pint in one big gulp and then wiped his mouth before getting up from his seat and moving close to the woman. "Is this seat taken? " Gabe would say as he sat down anyway.

The woman looked to Gabe as he addressed her with some sort of glare. He had incredible audacity coming to the lady! "Hm? Do you even think it's a good idea to sit here? Near me? I hit things near me when I get upset, so don't get mad when I warned you boy." She said, grabbing the drink that she already sensed the the bartender made, and took a nice gulp without taking her eyes off of Gabe. Her eyes were fierce, and it was clear that despite her appearance on the outside and her apparent drunken state, something beneath was as hard as steel, and harsher than heat. Stepping on the wrong toes here may be a death sentence for Gabe. Was it a good idea to remain here, leave, or something else?

"My lady, this is a local bar with a wide selection of drinks. Though there is a code of ethics involving women. For starters, always carry a lighter... and second...." Gabe would say as he raised one finger and used the same finger to point at the glass. " Always treat the lady to a second glass as a gesture after sitting next to her. " Gabe would then chuckle. "I feel as if everything about you tells a story, even from the way that you looked at me. You can consider this as a greeting if anything at all. " Gabe played it cool, he wasn't intimidated, being a badass gentlemen had its own merits. Still maintained moxie while acting within his boundaries. Being respectful while being bold, Gabe had his own path.

The woman raised an eyebrow. She couldn't decide if the man was staying out of boldness or stupidity. But in the end, he did just offer to get her a drink. She gave a half grin. "Alright kiddie. Fetch me another drink and you can sit here. But I ain't saying anything about myself. You cough it up first." She said, hitting the counter with a calloused hand, intrigued. She looked to the bartender and stared at him until they decided to shudder off and make another drink. Of course this time it would be on the young man, but she could never turn down a drink even if it came from someone younger.

"So tell me boy. What makes you think it's a good idea to stay and sit near me? You got a death with or something?" She said, leaning back and curling one of her legs over another. Her posture was graceful, but her stare was fierce, a strange equilibrium of beauty and power that formed in this strange woman.

"Fair enough, in your eyes, i am but a stranger. " Gabe would say as he cleared his throat and only went over the interesting bits of the question. "I don't think there is anything wrong with sitting next to a person and having a drink with them. All i see is a woman that's been through alot in her life, fearless, prideful, beautiful, good taste in alcohol. On the flip side, who wouldn't want to meet a person like that? In fact, why dont you tell me the reason why i should be afraid of you?" Gabe then talked about himself. " I'm Gabriel, but my friends call me Gabe. I work part time at a casino from time to time, and i'm also a manga artist. Seems like a crazy combination, but even more, i like to practice card tricks. " Gabe would say as he made a card appear from his hand and disappear all the same with the flick of his wrist by the use of a slight of hand motion to put it back in his sleeve. "That's about as interesting as it gets im afraid.

Streya wasn't entirely fond of the boy probing into her life and making assumptions about her. They had never met and now they wanted to delve even deeper? "I think a bigger reason why you should fear me is how you keep trying to assume things like what I might have done. I am far more experienced than you boy, and a lady doesn't like it when men try to get into their business." She scoffed and leaned her head higher as though she were looking down on him. She took another sip as he talked about himself, and looked at him with a sort of indifference when he showed off his card trick. "Cute, but will that help you when you piss someone off? Not sure if quick hands will get you out of trouble." She chuckled at the man and ordered another, pointing to the boy again. Was she just asking for another drink on him? Hopefully his bill won't rack up too high...

"Though..." she leaned her head a little closer with a smug expression. "Probably a good idea to not reveal your best so early on. You should keep a lady guessing with how good you are, even if you have to bluff, bullshit your way into someone's heart, it's exciting."

It's not an assumption, do you know what they say about scars?" Gabe would say questioningly as he decided to order the same drink as the woman as well. “Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars. With that kind of statement thats been governed by time, what do you think makes a strong soul? Not to bore you, but with my standing philosophy that i just told you, pared up with it's definition, thats how i see it. No disrespect of course, my lady."

Pissing someone off though, that's a different story. " Quick hands are often paired with quick feet. Trust me, i don't like getting into unfavorable situations unless i know i can win. But....there is a guilty pleasure of excitement towards the unknown, even more than knowing the result.
As for my best, well... with the many years of black jack, no matter what card you play initially, it's always the last hand that counts the most.

"Gabe took a sip of the drink and actually coughed a bit. He couldn't tell if it was the "hard stuff" that his father used to like to indulge in, but it certainly had a kick to it. " W-what is this drink that you keep ordering?" Gabe just had to ask.

"Ha! Then I must be as strong as I am lovely. Which of course, I am. I've done plenty in my life to warrant a title like that!" she said merrily as she drank again. She ordered another before she was even done. She was quite the lush to be able to handle what she downed. "But you sound like you're challenging me! Say you think you could beat me drinking? Nice try boy, but you won't. I gave you the good stuff, hell I don't even remember what was in it." She smacked him in the back heartedly not exactly bothering to worry if he was drinking in that exact moment or not. "You got nerve kid underneath that babyface. What do you even do to keep yourself looking like a toddler?" She said, laughing happily once more. She didn't seem drunk as much as she was enjoying teasing the young boy. At least she wasn't upset with him anymore.

Well that was unfortunate, Gabe would have no idea to assess his potential liver damage if that was the case. Although, he felt as if he shouldn't drink too much. Either that, or he should be sobering up pretty soon for the night. Gabe felt as if he needed to focus for the night. "Well, it's always bold to make a challenge even if it's in someone's own specialty. He would say jokingly as well, but he didn't understand the baby face comment. It's just that that clean cuts are a lot more welcomed in the workplace. Even if i was to sport some sort of facial hair, it would be prompted to take it off. But the looks of a man is only one aspect of a man and what he has to offer. " Looking to her, he would smile. What's beneath the exteriors is what counts, the foundations that nobody can see. She then hit Gabe in the shoulder with a calloused hand, which would prove to be enough strength to nearly push him off the table. "Alright kid, you're good enough, is this your first time tasting this stuff? I almost don't believe you if you're already downing this much. Don't lie to me, I will be able to tell."

"Do i need reason? Good question...." That actually made Gabe think about it, did he need a reason to drink. I usually stick with wine in social environments. Anything with a high alcohol content is usually a response for a higher stressful activity. It's usually between what i did, currently doing, or going to do. When
you get tipsy enough, you end up caring less about it. " Gabe literally rocked as if he was pushed by a frown man, holding himself with his arm so that he didn't slip completely out of the chair. She was strong, that much was certain . Though, as he regained his composure, eh laughed it off. "Ahh, no... i guess you could say that this is just my own showing of bravery. Never had it before, but i'll drink it like it's a common brand. " Gabe then held eye contact with her. "Dont worry, i dont have any reason to lie, not about this. You can tell it's working if your light taps almost threw me off my chair hahahah... It was a gleeful laugh, even Gabe noticing himself that the drink was stronger than expected.

The woman smirked. "So be it. My name is Streya. I respect people who are willing to go head first into things they haven't tried. It takes a certain type of boldness to be able to do that." She said, downing her glass, and leaning back into her chair. "You'll have to come out more, trust me, you'll build some hair on your chest. " She placed two fingers on his collarbone and gave it a slight pinch as though she were pulling a hair from it, but of course she wouldn't hurt him and let go after a bit. "Hm, this city has a lot of places to get a drink, it's pretty great. Why don't you find some places and tell me about it? It'll be fun, we can even get into a great fight with some schmuck. Sound great?"

"Miss Streya, it's definitely a pleasure. " Gabe was courteous nevertheless, at least got her name. It was enough for the time being then, things happen one step at a time. "Sure, if you say that you'll only be at this bar, then this is the only bar that i'll drink at. Hahah...." He would remember how merry his family would be when they had friends over at the house, Gabe wondered if this is what it felt like? "Every now and again, i work at a casino called Lucky Clover. They do have alot of premium alcoholic drinks, and from working there, the owner did raise me a little bit. You should come, there is a special drink you might like. But i won't tell you what it is, you'll just have to wait and see. " It was a bit of a gimmick, but a good taste nevertheless. Gabe wondered if Streya would like it.
