~Budding Questions~

With a gentle sigh of amazement, the boy would move through the garden with wide eyes. He had never been to a garden like this one before. The one that was by his neighborhood was nice, but it paled in comparison to the utter rainbow of flowers that were displayed in front of him in neat rows. He bent down gently, tipping the straw hat on his head to look at some daisies neatly lined in a row.

"Do you think this the one she gave me?" he'd ask his shadow mentally, gently poking one of the daisies with a finger. They were really soft, and they smelt just like the one he had! But, this one was yellow and not white... Was there a difference?

"It is a possibility, yes. I would set your eyes elsewhere though, just in case..." the shadow would respond lazily, not really showing much interest in their surroundings. It was a garden, after all... If anyone was spying on them, she'd quickly notice them before they could even act. This was probably the only time she could relax.

The blonde would nod his head though, standing upright and tilting his straw hat back to how it was before. He'd glance around, waving at his parents who were preoccupied with a rose bush. The three of them were all wearing kimono, doing another one of their sweet runs before deciding to stop at the garden for Zavie to try and find another daisy for his flower. He didn't want it to get lonely, after all!

"I wonder... Where could the flowers be?"

Feya was, like always, busy tending the flowers and plants. The day had thus far been rather quiet, with very few visitors actually swinging by. That young man, Gabriel had of course swung by to check on the progress of his pumpkin. As a matter of fact, that was the plant she was currently focused on. And so far, it was growing well, with a small, green sprout poking out of the brown dirt. The strawberry harvest for Mr. and Mrs. Johnson was currently resting inside a green, plastic bucket next to her. They would be coming later on that day to grab their investments, and with that came payment. The doors to the place slowly swung open as a young boy poked his head in. "Oh, good afternoon! Do you need any help?" She'd ask, looking away from her current project for a moment to focus her eyes on the blonde child.

The boy would look up at the lady working in the garden. Oh, did she work here? Wait, did they walk into a store? He hadn't even noticed! Oops... Though, with a careful step forward, and wise eyes causing him to spin in a circle, he'd focus on her with sparkling eyes. This place was even more amazing than he had originally though! Maybe they had lycoris flowers here... But, no, focus on what's important!

"Hello! Um, I am looking for a daisy flower! Um, the one I have is white, so I wanted to get a friend for it that is the same color." he'd say with a warm smile and nod of his head. He thought he explained what he was looking for really well! Proxy would praise him lightly, as well as warn him to be careful about this shop lady... She seemed off. Though, Proxy thought that about everyone so it wasn't something new.

"Oh, I see. A white daisy... Hrm... Just, hold on a moment." Feya replied with a thin smile before scooting off towards the store's vast collection of flowers. Roses, Daisies, Petunias and a lot of other flowers decorated the walls where she was looking. "Ah, there we go!" She exclaimed, standing on her toes to reach the one, lone white daisy which was resting on the top shelf in it's bucket. "You're in luck today, that's the last one we had." She'd give Zavie the little flower, before heading behind the counter, working her magic on the cash registry. "That'll be $5,50, dear." It wasn't often that she saw kids his age inside her shop all alone without supervision. It was a pleasant thing to see though, a kid his age buying flowers like this. "Was there anything else?" She asked, waiting for a response before printing out the reciept. While she was doing this, she'd also wrap a little bit of paper around the bottom end of the flower, to keep it somewhat moist until the kid could put it in a vase or something together with it's friend.

The boy would wait eagerly as the lady went to grab the flower he had requested. He'd rock back and forth on his heels, excited to see the new friend for his flower. He wanted it to be absolutely happy in his home, and if it was going to be happy it needed a friend to keep it company! So he was super ready to see what it looked like! Even if it would look exactly the same, heh...

"Oh oh! It looks perfect! And it is special, the last one in the store! That is even more perfect! He will make a good friend for my flower friend at home!" he'd say with a happy smile, rummaging through his sleeves to pull out a small wallet in which he took out the money he needed for the flower, he'd hold it up to the nice lady, a pleasant smile on his face.

"Oh, um, how do you know when a flower is happy?" he'd ask with a small tilt to his head, looking up at the daisy with wide eyes. He had made sure to give his flower lots of sun light, water, and fresh air! He even brought it on a walk once so it could see all of the Kitty Cat Mercenaries!

"Mrs. Robinson gave a daisy just like this one to me, and I really do not want it to be sad now that it is living some where else... I think giving it a friend will make it happy, but what if that is not enough? Should I play games with it or let it watch TV?" he'd ask with a small tilt in his head. He really didn't know how to make sure flowers stayed happy. Cats were a lot easier in his mind! Lots of attention, food, and most importantly warm naps! He was good at making sure they were all healthy and happy! But, he also could talk to them so... That may have something to do with it.

"I'm sure he will. Feya replied with a faint smile. Seeing the young boy being so excited over something so small brightened the Florist's morning. She'd chuckle happily in response to his question. "I don't think it's something we can see. But as long as it's blooming, I think it's happy." As for his other questions, Feya replied in the same calm tone as before. "Haha, I don't think that'll be necessary. Just give it water, sunlight and maybe talk to it every now and again will make sure it's relatively healthy."

The boy would smile happily and nod his head with a determined glow in his eyes. He wanted to make sure his flower was super happy! He wouldn't allow it to be sad as long as he had cat ears! Which was probably for forever, when he thought about it...

"As long as it blooms it is happy... Okay then! I will make sure it is blooming all the time!" the boy would say with a wide smile and giddy expression as he gently hopped from foot to foot, wooden sandals clanking under his yukata as he did so. If it wasn't obvious before where he came from, it would be now.

"Talk to it? About what? I do not know what plants like to talk about!" he'd ask and then explain with quite a bit of curiosity in his voice. He really wanted to know what a plant's favorite topic was! Was it butterflies? Maybe smells? What about soil?
