A lonely day? ((Open))

School was out for the day. The birds were singing, the flowers were blooming, perfect for a good day out.

The ten year old girl simply sighed as she wandered around in the city. Having to wait in her school group just to be let out was a bit annoying. Her parents were so busy with work that they unfortunately didn't have time to pick her up. She could leave on the bus, but it was very crowded and noisy, not an idea environment for her.

She preferred to head home on foot, anyway. Home was not a place she wanted to get too soon. Besides, Endymion was always exciting and bursting with life! It was much more worth while for her to run free through the city to see what new events she could catch for the day.

Today, she chose to run around Vista Square. It was a great place to keep updated on recent events while she ran around. The constant and busy crowd also made it easier to obscure herself. Plus, no one was going to ask her why she was wearing a jacket over her school uniform. She hated leaving her beloved jacket in her locker while she was at school. All of her courage was right there in her jacket.

So, with jacket zipped up and covering her face, the ten year old made her run through the city, intent on seeing if she could find any new routes to run through. This was her favorite way to explore the city, searching for new routes. One never knows what they'll find as they search for new paths to travel through.
