| "Daddy! Where are we going?" The little, dark haired toddler asked, looking up at her father with wide, glittering eyes. Caesar chuckled amusedly in response to the little girl's inquiry, finding her curiousity and impatience rather amusing. "We're almost there, Diana. Just a little bit longer." The kid's gaze would then fall upon her mother, Shizuka, expecting her to answer. "I don't know, darling. Sorry. You'll just have to wait for this one. Just be patient." Diana pouted slightly. "Aww... Okay then... I'll be patient."
After a bit more of a walk, they finally arrived at the festival area, with a ton of people and stands everywhere. "Waaaah! Sugoiiiiii!" The little girl cried out, looking excitedly around the area. "I wanna do everything! Play the Trivia Game, visit the mystery place with the cute girl, and all that!" Caesar chuckled, looking happily at his daughter. Seeing her this excited was something he'd never grow tired of. "Haha, simmer down a bit. There's plenty of time to check out everything. But... I guess if you want to go so badly..." His yellow gaze would fall upon his wife. "Could you two go together then? I have something I need to take care of." Shizuka raised her eyebrows a bit. "Hm? Oh, sure. | Joshua had no idea why he was here in a place like this. Festivities weren't really his thing if he was alone on his own. What was the point of going to them if you were a lonely bastard with no one to hang out with? But against his better judgement, he found himself in the throng of attendees. There were all sorts of events going on, most that he lacked any real interest in. What exactly was he hoping for in a place like this? Sometimes he never understood himself well enough, which was pretty weird. Maybe getting involved in all the bizarre shit in Azores turned him out for the worst. ![Young, Fresh and Raring to Go! | The two girls wandered off shortly into the crowds, with Caesar looking at them with a smile as they vanished amongs the crowd. Now, then... This should buy him enough time. He was planning on buying his little daughter a gift from one of these stalls. Her birthday was just a few days away, and he didn't want her to see that he had been buying her a gift. And so, the search began... or not. He hadn't realized just how thirsty he was. Guess all that walking took a bigger toll on him than he had initially thought. And so, he started looking around for a stand that sold drinks... It could be anything, and the first best place got some of his hard-earned cash.
"One Iced Tea, please." Now Ice Tea was something his wife had dragged him into. At first, he didn't see the point in chilling down a cup of tea that much, and he had never been much of a tea drinker anyway... but this "Ice tea" thing was better than expected. Sure, coffee was more his thing, but when it was this warm outside, drinking coffee just felt off to him. He gave the cashier the desired payment before he began walking around the premises. Hrm... What exactly did a girl of Diana's age want...? Toys, no? So maybe... a doll, or a stuffed animal. He was so absorbed in his own thoughts that he almost, (keyword being Almost) bumped into a young man on his way. "Oh, Whoops. Sorry." Caesar excused himself... before he locked eyes with the younger boy... Hrm... this kid reminded him of someone he once knew... Sure, that was a long time ago, but... no, he couldn't possibly be related to him... | |
