| For starters, it teaches you patience and diligence. The grand prize is the fish that are living beneath the waters, that is something that you are trying to capture. It may take a while, a long time for tit to come around and for you to finally get it,but it's satisfying in the end. As well as the fact that practicing such patience is closely related to meditation. " Gabe would grin at the thought of it" That is why i do it, a sense of self through a calming practice based upon one's own merit and mettle against the sea. It's quite a way to think about it, and some people might think i'm mad. Bur for me, it's alot better to understand for the sake of it all, if anything. | |

| ''What is this, a Pokemon game with fish? That's honestly what it almost sounds like with the way you speak.'' Gray would just shake his head, mildly amused over the fact that the guy was praising fishing to no end, like it was the best activity to be doing ever. ''Not that any sort of meditation is bad, but if I am to be doing some sort of animal hunting, fishing comes off as pretty bland. Perhaps I'm just used to activities involving more action. When I want to relax and be calm, I can go have a picnic in the forest instead. Rather than capturing poor fish to generate that effect.'' And patience was pretty relative. If you aren't a patient person to begin with, you'll probably give up fishing pretty fast. You aren't being forced to keep at it after all, so it's not the best tool for teaching such....
''What made you try fishing in the first place?'' | |

| "Pokemon, i have heard of such a game, but never actually had the pleasure of playing it. I'm more of a Pacman gamer myself, simple and fun."But that was beside the point. "To each his own perhaps, the epitome of manliness calls you different heights and different practices. I'm sure that your preferences are just as suitable for whatever pleasure that fishing gives me in general. I was only sharing my experience with you in hopes that you would try it sometime. "That's all Gabe was really doing in the first place, nothing terrible. "My father was a fishing man, i merely adopted such a trait for myself, finding my own reason | |

| ''Is that the one with the yellow ball eating stuff? To be honest, I don't really play games much. I just know they exist.'' And the general gist, maybe. He was usually doing other things, so games didn't cross his mind often at all. Hearing the next words, he would blink with a low chuckle. ''Epitome of manliness you say? Does one need to be manly to be a man? Either way, I may consider. With all due respect, I find it easier to make a decision after actually trying rather than just hearing people's experiences alone. After all, as you said, to each their own. Someone singing praise about an action gives no hint as to whether another person would find it interesting themselves.'' Many times, that is not the case at all. Which makes recommendations only half as effective. An odd look would cross his face when he received his answer. ''I see. Well, I can respect that.'' There would be no reason not to.... | |

| "Ahh, rule number 1, no spectators. There is an arcade in vista square, i think you would have a fun time checking it out. Just a suggestion. " To simply live without experiencing something on a decent scale? Gabe thought it would be best for him to go with the flow at the time being. "Well, as i said before. Maybe it would be better for you to try. I welcome the company if that day comes when i'm around. " Gabe would them offer a hand shake. "It's been a pleasure, Mr. Gray. | |

| Gray would tilt his head in slight confusion. ''Rule? I'm not sure what do spectators actually have to do with this.'' Maybe because some people don't like being watched? That's not a rule then, but just a preference. Well, either way...''Maybe one day, although it sounds like a rather crowded place.'' And likely to be comprised mostly of kids and teens playing around, which could be pretty exhausting to keep up with. ''That, I cannot guarantee. I don't really come around here too often. And when I do, it's mostly after work which means I'm too tired to go battle with fish.'' Still, it was a nice place in its own way. He would smile thinly, accepting the handshake although keeping his gloves on. ''Of course.'' Now he just needed a fish friend. | |
