Most students hated school, each for their own reason though most of them seemed to revolve around being forced to wake up early in the morning and stay there for most of the day, Athena was no exception. The girl knew she was beautiful but she was also aware that the flawless image she was advertising could crumple with a single misstep, she too had bags under her eyes and her skin only appeared perfect thanks to make up, the academy's long schedule though could easily exceed the time her make up could last before it began losing it's glamour. Thankfully, Athena had discovered that refreshing her make up during lunch break was enough to keep maintain the looks she wished.
When the bell rang Athena made sure to slip away from her friends and visited the girl's bathroom on the second floor which seemed to be empty. A sigh of relief escaped the girl as she walked towards the mirror before she placed her make up kit in frond of her, the lipstick she had applied on her lips in the morning had already faded and her eyelashes weren't as voluminous as she remembered them to be when she left her house. "Ugh those stupid hens and their annoying voices must have had something to do with that disaster." She said to herself as she began to reapply the lipstick. "They're lucky their families are rich or else I would never spoke to them twice, freaking spoiled shits." She continued to rant.

Most students hated school, each for their own reason, though most of them seemed to revolve around being forced to wake up early in the morning and stay there for most of the day. Cecilia, however, was an exception. Those who knew her would no doubt find it odd, but attending Seven Stars Academy was a source of great joy for her. In the past she had claimed countless times that she had no need of an education -- that she already had learnt what they were teaching and that what little new information she got from her classes was frivolous and unimportant. Seven Stars was different for her though. It was run in much the same way that the education system of the past she had complained about was, but the qualms that she had with school-life before had seemingly vanished into thin air. As for why, well, Cecilia truly admired the queen and the society she had created. To her Seven Stars was the beginning of a new chapter in her life: it was the start of a chance to give back to the world she had taken so much from. The classes, curriculum, the sororities... At their core they all served a singular purpose; they existed to help fashion the students into cogs in the glorious, orderly machine that was Isla's society. It was with that knowledge, the knowledge that her time here might provide a chance to be useful to her nation in the future, that Cecilia looked forward every day to attending school. Of course, it wasn't as if she had no complaints...
"Stupid school policy... What dumbass thought of an arbitrary rule like that?"
The sound of loud, obnoxious chewing rang out from one of the stalls as the petite young girl bitterly munched on a wide assortment of candies and sweets. Gobbling down pocky stick after pocky stick, Cecilia's snacking was by no means secretive or unnoticeable. Despite the lengths that she had underwent to smuggle food onto school grounds, she seemingly had no interest in keeping quiet. After all, why would she? To her knowledge the bathroom was all hers for the moment -- she was completely alone, so why bother playing it cautious? What she didn't know was that while she was focusing on the smuggled sweets another student had come in for reasons of their own. And though Cecilia wasn't aware of her presence, Athena would almost certainly be able to tell there was another person within the room.
"Jeez... I really need to cut back on this stuff. I can almost smell the impending diabetes."

Athena's gaze immediately moved from her reflection towards to the shorter girl who had stomped in the bathroom. She certainly was a feisty one, not that herself was in any place to judge her since moments ago she was ranting about her friends thankfully the girl didn't seem to pay attention to her presence. She was shorter than her, though they both had pink colored hair, the model had to admit the girls color appeared more natural than hers, perhaps she could find out the dying products the girl used. She, of course, already looked much prettier than that dwarf... who does she even think she is? Walking like that, ignoring her much hotter senior, and talking to herself about sweets? That was unacceptable, she ought to at least spend a few seconds staring at her being unable to speak and blush when realized she's been staring at the upcoming idol Athena Griva.
She had to help that hobbit realize under whose presence she had the privilege to be at but she was also aware that she couldn't just talk to her, this would imply she actually wanted to talk with the girl. AS IF! Athena was probably older and much more beautiful than her thus making her the de facto alpha of the room, and thus entitled to the gremlin's attention."Oh my, this lipstick is truly amazing." Athena exclaimed, to herself of course, as she stared at her reflection, even though she could also see the girl's reaction through the glass she was OBVIOUSLY wasn't looking at her, what did she care about her attention after all?

An unfamiliar voice reached her ears as Cecilia finally noticed the other girl in the room and froze. Her hand rested in the air motionlessly with a stick of chocolate pocky clenched between its fingers and she silently stared at it while wondering what to do about this troublesome situation. Was she gonna get snitched on? She couldn't have that. That'd be awful! Somehow she had to ensure that this stranger would keep quiet about this situation. Maybe flattery? The woman seemed to be fishing for compliments about her lipstick, so the obvious solution seemed to be giving one out. Yeah... That'd work. Her body began to move once again and she devoured the candy in her hands before standing up and turning her gaze to Athena. The girl's mouth opened up and the words that came out of it...
"Hey, Lipstick Lady! You didn't see anything! I don't exist, understood?!"
...were not a compliment, but rather a demand. Goddamn it Cecilia you prideful dumbass.

"How did you just called me?" Athena asked as she lowered her head slightly causing a dark shadow to cover her face and cloud her expression underneath it. "Do you have idea who I am you little chocolate junkie?" This time her tone came out much more aggressive. The taller girl made a step to close the distance between her and the smaller female, she tried to be subtle but this was just of the days where she needed a punching bag, thankfully she had just found one.
Athena proceed to place her arm on Cecilia's right shoulder and lower her body a bit so the two of them were on the same height revealing a sweet smile, though it would be obvious even to the less observing person that this smile was anything but sincere. "Say how about we start this over, this time without saying anything you might regret..." The girl said as she started to apply a considerable amount of pressure on the other's shoulder.

As Athena began to approach her, Cecilia started to realize just how tall this woman was... Or was it simply that she herself was short? Whatever the case, there was a disparity in height that aided her upperclassman's attempts at intimidation. Nevertheless, it did little more than piss the young girl off. Though Athena possessed a commanding presence and a frightening fury, Cecilia's arrogant attitude ensured that meant nothing. The tight grip hurt, but she bit down on her lip angrily and hid any sign of pain as she stared right into the eyes of the older woman. She'd attempt to draw back a bit and try to lightly push Athena's hand off her shoulder, but regardless of the outcome she'd retain an irritated scowl on her face and would keep her full attention on the woman. Cecilia's eyes were on the woman just as she had wanted earlier, but they refused to look upon on her admirably and instead burned with a sort of passive defiance.
"What kind of cliche line is that? Of course I don't know who you are! I bet no one does you... uh... faceless person!"
Cecilia then proceeded to puff out her chest and promptly told Athena, "Fuck off, retard." This definitely was a great first encounter and would most assuredly end spectacularly for the young teenage girl. And yes, that's sarcasm.

So the short bitch had some spirit in her. Athena expected the younger girl to apologize out of fear, this would allow to pull a few more insults but judging from her reaction any further mockery would simply make Cecilia more aggressive. As the model removed her arm from the girl's shoulder a new plan began forming in her head one that would certainly put the cheeky cunt back in her place, the only thing she had to do was to recall a certain acting lesson...
"How mean... I didn't know it was possible for someone that cute to be this cruel." Athena replied as her eyes became wet in a matter of mere seconds. "You shouldn't call people retarded just because they're diff...dif...different waaaa!" Athena moaned loudly as tears began to flow down her cheeks. "I promised to stand up for myself today against the bullies.... I was so happy to bring this lipstick at school... my very sick mother said it was beautiful... it was the first time I've seen her smiling since papa died but I keep getting bullied at every corner...this is so unfair." She covered her face with her hands to hide her tears. "I just wanted to hear a compliment today."

Athena's act worked perfectly on her and soon enough the confident face she wore would be replaced with a guilty, shocked expression. What had she done? This poor girl was just looking for someone to be nice to her, someone to be a friend, and Cecilia had trampled over that dream and smashed it to bits. "You dumbass, you dumbass, you dumbass... It's all your fault. You have to do everything in your power to fix this." The thoughts repeated over and over in her head as the underclassmen scrambled to find the proper solution to this problem. Perhaps just a little reassurance and some compliments would suffice? That didn't feel right though. That was such a cheap, easy, pathetic way out... She couldn't accept that; there had to be something more she could do. It was what she owed the taller woman after hurting her like this. Nevertheless, flattery could potentially prove a good start to raising the girl's self-esteem and making amends, so she decided to go through with it anyway.
"I'm so sorry! I'm a complete dumbass: a big, stupid idiot! I was just feeling jealous. You're so pretty and pink hair looks so much better on you than it does me... And that lipstick you were talking about -- your mother was right, it looks fantastic on you. I don't know what came over me. If there's anything I can do to make it up, anything..."
Athena had said something about bullies. Maybe Cecilia could try and help her out with that? They had to be assholes to pick on someone so vulnerable, but perhaps if she just sat down and talked with them they'd come to understand, or at the very least reluctantly stop. She pondered the situation as she stared at the girl with regretful eyes and awaited a response.

Athena wanted to laugh so bad, that girl was more naive than she could ever imagine, she had to find a way to use this weakness as best as she could. This bitch was bound to make a nice addition to her little herd of followers but unlike the other the girl needed not to be dazed by her, in fact the young model was led to believe Cecilia wasn't going to be impressed by her popularity at all instead she had to maintain the charade of her being a pitiful bullied girl.
"There might be something you can do for me..." Athena said as she wiped her crocodile tears but making sure to keep the sad face on, she couldn't break character just yet after all. "On my way to school I spotted a very poor child so I gave him all of my lunch money so he could eat something." She lowered her head and bit her tongue to keep from laughing, once she regained her composure she lifted it back so she could stare at Cecilia's eyes. "But now I'm completely broke and so hungry... my family is too poor and so I don't have any spare money on me to buy myself something to eat... I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow so I can eat a vegetable soup from the common meal." At that point the girl stopped and took a moment to force one more tear to run down her cheek. "Unless some kind soul were to give me some money to get something from the cafeteria."

Cecilia felt her gut sink with guilt and a lump emerge in the back of her throat as Athena made her request. Money... She didn't have any on her today. Her intent had been to pig out on the sweets she had smuggled in. Sure, it wasn't an orthodox lunch, but it wasn't every day she could sneak a bunch of chocolate and other sweets into the school, so she figured she might as well make it special. A nervous expression crossed her face and she fiddled with her fingers unsure of what to say. What was the solution here? For a brief moment Cecilia was panicked, but quickly she'd realize that there was an easy fix to the conundrum.
"I don't have any lunch money on me, but if you want then you could take these. This candy's really good. I was gonna eat it myself, but, uh, don't worry... I'm not hungry at all. Just don't get caught by anyone, alright? This sort of thing could get you in a lot of trouble, especially if you eat it in a classroom."
She had lied, of course. Cecilia was starving. A few pocky sticks was nothing -- it wouldn't have satiated anyone's hunger, let alone sufficed as an entire meal. But it didn't matter. She didn't care about her own appetite, not even taking it into consideration in the slightest, and should Athena accept her offer she'd begin shoving the bags full of candy into her arms without hesitation. Even so, the rustling of the plastic wouldn't be able to conceal the growl her stomach let out, nor would the lighting in the bathroom hide the famished look in her eyes. Cecilia may have been able to ignore her body's cries for food, but it'd be clear to anyone that she was not as full as she claimed to be.

Athena didn't have to act in order to appear disappointed, she could really use that money to get herself something nice, sweets on the other hand were useless, what was she supposed to do it them if she were to eat them then she would gain extra calories and become fat. The girl had enough sweets fit an entire classroom, at least for her standards, and she couldn't even bother to get the less fattening ones either. The girl's stash was basically a diabetes bomb, was she trying to help her or murder her.
And then it occurred to her, that short mass of pink fluff wasn't as innocent as she had thought. No, that girl who so easily played the role of the naive damsel was in fact a wicked genius. A shiver almost overcame the young model, she had planned everything from the start. She wandered inside the bathroom once she saw Athena, ignored her in purpose in order to annoy her knowing she would eventually play the victim card, and with her final move she had forced the model to either take the extra calories and turn fat or drop her act. The little bitch was not an adversary she could underestimate.
"How nice of you... but I uh...." She had to find a way out of this. A hungry girl wouldn't dare to turn down such a gift but her looks were on the line. "I'm actually... I'm diabetic, I can't eat any sweets, if I eat one I'll die." The perfect way out, Athena would kiss her amazing mind if she could. "But I guess mother will be very happy, she haven't had sweets for years... thank you so much, you are so kind miss... I'm sorry I didn't catch your name." She had to find more about that elusive mastermind, a worthy foe was bound to spicy things up a bit.

She couldn't... eat sweets? Wait, if she ate one she'd what?! Just from eating a single piece? That couldn't be true. It had to be an exaggeration. Whatever the case, Cecilia would frown and reach her hand up to the taller woman's shoulder placing it gently atop it. "I'm... I'm so sorry. If there's anything else I can do, I'd gladly..." Her voice trailed off and she stood there unsure of how to deal with the situation. This poor, poor girl... If only the underclassmen could think of some way to help her get some kind of meal. But sadly, nothing came to Cecilia's mind and she could only stand there with an uncertain, lost look on her face. "I think there's some sugar-free kinds in there. Can you have sugar-free candy or...?" Well, at least it wouldn't go to waste. While Athena's hunger still hadn't been dealt with, at least her mother might receive some joy from the gift. That thought brought a light smile to Cecilia's face.
"There's no need to thank me. It's the least I could do. I'm Cecilia."

"Oh that's... nice." Athena said as she watched the girl sweat, she must have been an amazing actress to pull emotions like that so realistically but nobody could possible be this gullible. "It's a pleasure to meet you Cecilia, I'm Athena. Perhaps we could hang out sometime in the future." As if she wanted to ever speak to that manipulative midget again but if she wanted to get on top of her then she had to play her game, as long as she though she had fooled her Athena could easily scheme the bitch's social downfall. I'm afraid I'll have to go now so I can...ummm...pray for my poor mother. I prayed yesterday as well and good God set you on my path so I have to thank Him or His generous gift... see you around Cecila!" Athena said as she rushed out of the bathroom with the sweets still on her arms. She would have to find someone to take them, there was no way she was falling for the girl's trap, if she wanted war she was going to have it.
