Haru listen to the words spoken. He agreed there had to be more than just one person involved in this and maybe like Noah said they would have a brute to contend with along with the one playing with them now. It wasn’t a pleasant thought to have to deal with two terrorists, but at the same time he would not let it bog him down. If the two were a threat, they’d just bring them down...though at this rate and with Maria rushing off to who knew where, he had to wonder if they would actually succeed tonight.

No.

He would shake his head to clear it. They would succeed. They had to. It was as simple as that. Refocused, his eyes would glance over at Noah as he spoke on the situation at hand. To his words, Haru would sigh a bit.

“I didn’t think this would pleasant the moment we survived that fog….and these surprises are not helping disprove my thoughts on the matter,” he would state before falling into his combat positioning, making sure to stay clear of that lashing tail as Noah turned into a dragon? Sigh. Well, he supposed that was the least of his worries. At least said dragon was on their side.

As for the enemies well….

“....”

Haru grip would grip his soul bound weapon a bit tighter uncomfortable inwardly with what he saw, but calm outwardly as his eyes turned gold and the familiar power of his persona flowed through him. However, for the moment he did not use his persona as his grip shifted on his weapon and he moved to engage the enemy directly…

Hatsuharu - Level: 3 :

So the attack didn’t work. What stubborn creatures and now…the rabbit ticks. That can’t be good….

There is a dark chuckle within my mind and a voice sweet yet venomous at the same time speaks to within my head.

“Tick tock, my master. Tick tock.”

…..

I am silent, but I can see him smirk behind that face mask as he watches me amused at my efforts to remain composed in this unfavorable of situation.

“Forgive me my master.”

He pretends to care, but I know the words and the bow are insincere. He is mocking me. It is infuriating and causes my heart to become colder than ice. My resolve settles as I remind myself of one thing: I am master of myself and the creature within. Mock me as he will, in the end he will obey.

The familiar price of pain flows through me and the creature within chuckles and obeys the mental command given. He seems to be pleased, but about what I do not know. It matters not I suppose. Just focus.

There was a light hum within his mind as his persona would tilt its head lightly as it watched the creatures before it dissolve into nothingness. The creature seemed to ponder something before it heard its master's mental command and looked over at the dragon boy on the team. Golden eyes under the helmet would glow slightly as the winged creature lifted an armor hand and unleashed a healing spell on the other before vanishing from sight.

As the persona left, Haru would relax in his stance only slightly as he dismissed his weapon for now.

“Well that is done,” he would mutter to himself before looking over at the others. “Is everyone all right?” he would ask the others to see what sort of state they were end. Sure, they all stood and appeared to be more or less okay looking; however, sometimes that was not the case. A look could be deceiving and while words could lie too, he would hope that everyone would be more or less honest about the way they were feeling at the moment. It was much more favorable to have folk speak up rather than find out about some issue or what not later down the road that could get them in trouble. The idol would let whatever came from that play out for a while longer before his eyes drifted over to the area they were in. The scenery was as foreboding as ever and the path before them pretty straight forward...or so it seemed. It was hard to say just what was what in this place, so the young man simply marked the path ahead of them as unexplored terrain in his head.

Now while he was curious to see what was up ahead, he found himself quickly putting that part of himself in check. Perhaps if the situation didn’t already have him on edge and he wasn’t so concerned for Maria and some other things that tugged strangely at him, maybe the Cadet would’ve indulged in exploring. However as it stood now, this place seemed to play with him more than he would like to admit and as such he wanted nothing more than to find their target, capture her and then get the hell out of dodge before something unfortunate happened to them all.

Despite the thoughts and uneasiness  there, the Cadet would keep his emotions well hidden as he seemed to blink in a disintersted fashion as he turned his back on the unexplored path ahead and began to head back the way they came. As he moved he would speak.

“The threat here is gone for the time being, so I suppose it is time to pay our lovely cat another visit, yes?” he would say as he paused on the path to wait for the others. Haru wasn’t exactly enthused about this, but the cat had to be dealt with in one fashion or another...even if the risk of dealing with the creature was more games and stalling put in place by their enemies….
