Blah afternoon. (Trinity)

8D let out a sigh of relief as he plopped himself down on the park bench, finaly satisfied that he had escaped his horrid fate and was now firmly out of J and Kay's clutches. Turns out the snack cakes he was bringing with him from Zavie's bakery were in fact vital to the continuation of life on earth in any recognizable form, or at least that must be the case from the reaction he got from showing up with only half the boxes, the other half having been stolen by the maid cafe during that horrible mix up.-HAHA, Continuity- The poor clown was barely able to escape with his life! Kay he could understand, she always had a short fuse, this was to be expected. What he didn't get was the blind fury that J had launched into. Turns out he loved those little snack cakes more then life itself and only slightly less then science. SOoooooo in order to keep his limbs where they are he decided to spend the rest of the day in Suzie Q... Just enjoying he sights...

OK BORED NOW! GEEEEZE this was dull, Yeah there were performances all around 24/7, but eventually you get used to this kinda stuff. When everyone and their grandma are pop Idles... No one is, and that gets dull. And so we find our sad little clown alone on his bench... the normally bright balls on his had dim, and droopy.... Sigh.... If only he had a friend to spend this time with.

Trinity was out again, looking for a different place to maybe put on a show or just to hang out later when she had more free time, sometimes she had to wonder if she could get more training in on her acts but at the same time she knew down time was important. and as she walked along she noticed a familiar sight, the clown that called himself Grins and she decided to walk over to him and looked at the rather bored looking clown and she tilted her head a bit.

"Hello, you look rather bored isn't that normally something a clown shouldn't look?" she asked as she tilted her head a bit more, and took a cookie out of her pocket, in a baggie of course, removed it from said baggie and started to nibble on the edge of it gently as she looked to the clown once more with that unblinking gaze.

"Hm?" 8D looked up with a lack luster grin and a tired eyes, however his look would turn bright as his gaze met that of Trinity. A whimsical smile would play on his thin lips as a chuckle escaped his stony mood,"My my my! What a small world it is my dear! It has been not a full twelve hours yet we find ourselves in each others company once more. It almost seems to good to be true my friend." Almost instantly his mood would change and his board and sad expression would shit to one of joy and hesitant optimism. With a sly grin and a little laugh, 8D would slide to the side and pat the bench next to him, beckoning her to join him on the bench.

"And you are right I suppose, this is not the look of a happy clown nor of a righteous entertainer. Unfortunately I am quite melancholy this day, you see I am the one thing that a clown such as myself can not be happy about, I am board. Dreadfully, dreadfully board... Tell me, what do you do when you are so dreadfully board?" He would ask with a wistful smile as he eyed the woman who was hopefully seated at his side by this point.

Tilting her head at his small world comment Trinity stood there as she thought about that, and honestly it wasn't like the world had shrunk, but the fact that the two of them resided in the same city made it inevitable that they would more then likely run into each other again, especially with how the city was compartmentalized, in fact the structure of the city nearly guaranteed that they would run into each other again since many of the more public places where clustered in only a few sections of the city making. The time however did play a factor, though seeing as he was a clown it made sense he was more then likely going to be in a section of the city where the most people would be to have fun and looking for entertainment, so that would also alter the chance of them running into each other.

As he moved to the side and gestured to her to take a seat she did so, lowering herself to the seat and looking to the clown as he agreed with her previous statement, and he posed a question to her, a question that was rather simple to answer considering she was nearly always doing it so it wasn't something she dwelt on to much "We tend to read books or play music when we want to pass the time. We find it enjoyable, It also helps us out at times when we require to keep up our practice, However we are not sure that would fit your more active personality" she said as she looked to the clown, he seemed more the type to want to interact with people in some way, or maybe just doing his job as a clown. This was all assumption of course as she didn't really know that much about him really.

"Books you say?" Grins smiled widely at the girl as she took her seat. There was definitely something odd about her in ever sense of the word, not that he was one to judge. Though if you asked him, she was the more robotic of the two. Not that there was anything wrong with that persay, but it was interesting to note none the less. He would smile brilliantly at her manner of speech, however. He found her use of plural pronouns to rise a sense of interest within his mind. Honestly it made her seem-Intriguing and different... How fun! Ehehehehe!-"I do like to think myself an avid reader, believe it or not I find curling up with a nice book to be very relaxing! Ehehe, mostly I read Satire and the like. As for music I'm afraid I'm not that good with my fingers to play any instruments. Whenever my act needs music I usually play it from an MP3."

"Oh dear me look at me ramble on about myself, please forgive my sudden burst of Narcissism, Ehehe. Please, what instruments do you play? What books do you enjoy? Both will surely be more interesting then the interests of a clown, Ehehehe" 8D grinned happily as he relaxed into the bench, happy to have someone to while away the boredom with.

"Yes books, they tend to be a very good distraction for us, and the stories tend to inspire at times you would be surprised how time seems to pass without notice when you are reading a good book". It was when the man continued on that she looked to him and tilted her head to the side as she listened to his words on the matter of literature seems he was a fan of a certain genre and she nodded slowly as he made mention of his musical abilities. She could somewhat understand, some people had a natural knack for certain things, and a natural ineptitude with others, she was aware of her inability to make things with her hands for the most part, which seemed contrary to the fact that she was so natural skilled with playing and learning instruments.

Looking back to the jester she listened to his apology and tilted her head a bit to the side, "There is no need for apology this is a discourse talking a bit about yourself isn't out of the ordinary, As for Us, We play many instruments, Guitar, Drums, Flute, Violin, Viola, Bass, We have learned to play all instruments along with our siblings, As for books We enjoy informational books, though philosophy as well as long novels of fantasy and even sci-fi are among the genres we enjoy" she answered him as she looked to the clown, "Have you considered broadening your genre choice? or learning to play a simpler instrument? We have noticed that live music seems to have a greater effect on the listeners"

"Oh! You play many many instruments! I must say that you are quite impressive in all senses of the word!" Grins would smile and clap happily. So many different types of music from one person? Such talent was not unheard of, but it was rare in the day and age. Even 8D himself, who prided himself on his talents, was unable to play even one such instrument... Truly she was a performing force to deal with.

"Hmmm I suppose live music could be a bit more interesting then the simulated music I am used to using..." Hmmmm... 8D would stroke his chin carefully and consider the advice she was giving. Perhaps she was right. Live music would be far more impressive then just playing a jonty tune from his speakers, but... there where some draw backs as well."I like the idea, however I am but one clown! How will I both play instruments and tell jokes and dance all at the same time! Perhaps... If I had a partner," 8D would grin widely and chuckly slightly as he hoped the girl would pick up on what he was putting down.

She nodded as he exclaimed his surprise at her playing multiple instruments, and she took the complement well, it was one she heard a lot, but that didn't diminish the complement at all, after all the people she had met so far all had something they were far better at then her, After all Grins himself could apparently tell jokes and entertain people with his acrobatics, both things Trinity could not do, she was good at dancing but advanced Acrobatics was beyond her, and she had been told quite a few times that she didn't have much of a sense of humor, well on line anyway were people couldn't tell who she was.

To his assumption that live music would help his act she nodded once more "People tend to pay more attention to live music, it has a feeling to it that is different then music played off of a music player or the like, and some people simply like to see the performance as it gives them something else to watch and listen to along with the act" she nodded a bit more to her own words but then the jester seemed to find issue with the idea and she thought on his words a bit as she sat there with him.

The partner Idea would work, but if he wanted a relatively easy to play instrument maybe a guitar would work better? or a Ukulele? since it would be rather comical added to the jesters jokes and it would be small enough to allow him to do his dance without being tiring "There are several ways you could do so, you could get a guitar, as they are easy to learn to play if you study and have a good teacher, you would be playing your own music in no time, or you could use a Ukulele it would still carry and has a nice sound to it but it is light enough to not bother any acrobatics you may wish to pull off, and may add visually to your acts.."

She then looked up at him as she then considered his last Solution and she nodded "An Assistant would most definitely aid you in your shows if they are the ones playing, and they may be able to help in telling jokes, but they would need to be able to work well with you, A clash of personalities is something that can ruin even the best planned shows" she replied in her monotone and her unchanging expression.

"Yes yes, very well.. I do believe I understand what you are saying dear new friend.... Yes for you see I am very capable of reading between the lines! You are saying you wish to volenteer to either teach me the art of the bard, that's the DnD kinda bard with the silly guitar thingy not the Will I Am Shake a Spear kind Ehehehe, or become my bard! Ehehehe!" Ok so she didn't pick up on his subbtle hints, however she may pick up on his blunt and rather crass hint. At this point it wasn't so much Subtext as it was just... Text.

8D would spring from the bench and smile broadly to the monotone girl. "I kid I kid, though that is about most of what I do, Eheheh! What I am saying is, would you like to help me? I would compensate you for your troubles, and it would be OH so much fun! What do you say? Would you like to be my bard?"

-4 months and that's it?... Wow you're shit Jack...-

The girl looked at the rather odd clown man as he made his little speech and assumption about her efforts here, while he was wrong she could tell her was doing his bit of work trying to make it comical and so she didn't correct him, Though she had to wonder if she could teach him, she had a very good grasp on all instruments and the like, perhaps she could train him to play more then just one instrument that he could play alongside his act? Though by the sounds of it the man seemed to think that wasn't a good Idea, and so it seemed that Idea was out the window as he seemed to so easily dismiss it so she decided to drop the suggestion.

However he seemed to want her to play music FOR his acts, and she thought about it for a bit, really she could simply count it as practice after all she would be playing and more then likely changing to different instuments when needed or simply to allow for a more interesting show for him, however that would bringing more then one instrument with her for when she did come to help him preform and though she always traveled with rolling luggage and a large duffle bag...as well as a backpack at times, she would have to instead travel with an instrument case, and she could fit a few things in there and maybe her normal things, and the larger instrument cases she had at home had wheels and could be pulled around rather easily, so with a bit of thinking she decided it could be doable and she looked back up at the clown.

"I suppose I can help you, however I still suggest that you learn an instrument as well...in case there are moments when I cannot be there, as having live music for your shows will draw more people, the times you don't may have those same people not bother to watch....though I will need a disguise....or people may come to see me rather then you...if they know who I am anyway..." she said as she looked to him her expressionless tone and unblinking gaze locked on him.

"Ehehehe! You have yourself a deal my friend! I shall both become your preforming partner, and if you will have me, your student in the ways of music! If at all possible I think I would like to learn the Trombone! Oh the many bone related puns I could tell... I may crack a RIB laughing about it! EHehehehe!" 8D nearly collapsed from laughter at the thought of all the various jokes he could tell. Though if he did fall he would risk cracking his FUNNY BONE when he caught himself! And he just wouldn't have the SPINE to tell J that he needed repairs! See? They write themselves!

Grins smiled and placed a finger to his chin as he thought about the one caveat. She was a good deal more famous then himself, so that would be a draw to his shows, but she was right when she said the crowds wouldn't exactly be for him... now would they? Though... then maybe they would see how funny and entertaining he was and that would boost his popularity!.... But that would be deceitful... And 8D is nothing if he isn't Honest!-you wut m8?-"A disguise? You don't say... Well That's a grand idea! How do you feel... about clowns? Ehehe"

listening to the man accept she nodded "Very well We will be opening a shop eventually...We can give you classes there if you like or anywhere else as long as it is not in a public place, focus is needed when learning an instrument and you seem the type to put the focus needed into things" she fixed her unblinking gaze on him as she tried to figure out what instrument he would be best at playing, and honestly it was hard to tell what, but that's what training was for, and also she figured he would have one in mind to try out so that wouldn't be to much of a problem.

When he mentioned if she liked clowns she only tilted her head, her still unblinking gaze locked on his eyes the whole time "If We had negative feelings towards clowns then Trinity would not have sat here and conversed with you...however to answer your question we have no negative feelings towards clowns" her voice was as monotone as ever and her face just as expressionless as she answered him.

"Focus? Hokus Pokus Focus! I'm the most focussed guy that's ever been focused on anything that needs Focus! Back in High school they called me "Focus McGee cuz I was so focused on all the... the important uh... stuff I needed to focus on... and... What were we talking about?" 8D would stand there dumbfounded for a moment before bursting into a laughing fit at his gag. However, his joy and jubilation would slowly due as he would undoubtedly see his new friend's face remain cold and indifferent to his joking around."You uh.... Don't laugh at much do you?... Not even a little bit..."

Grins's smirk would return in full force however once she mentioned her indifference towards clowns. Honestly at this point he would take what he could get. More often then not Clowns were hates and feared... At least this way she was neutral and could be swayed towards thr right path. "Well then I think I may just have the disguise we're looking for my sour faced yet oddly friendly friend! Sense I will be learning the ways of the Bard from you, it is only fair that I teach you the ways of thr Clown in exchange! Thus giving you a costume and paying for your services at the same time! OH what a clever Clown I am! EHEHEHE!"

She listened to his pun it was amusing but Trinity remained expressionless and unblinking as Grins would start to laugh, but after his fit he seemed to ask a question of her which seemed pertenent to him at least "No We don't tend to laugh to much..is that a problem?" she tilted her head once more as he looked at him and then listened to him continue about teaching her how to be a clown, and she nodded a bit it did seem a fair trade, she was teaching him about her trade so he would teach her about his, while not the same trade they were in the same field and it was basically trade training exchange.

she tilted her head back the other way and then strait again as she nodded "This is acceptable....so does that mean we are going to do a show now? or are we training you first? the wording of the agreement would suggest We help you with a show first, unless you want to rearrange things...though that would require that We get a disguise first" she pointed out as she sat and waited for his reply, her unblinking gaze fixed on him.

"I suppose not..."8D would respond, feeling slightly defeated... He was a clown! And a damn good one at that! It was his job to make people laugh and by Gangadiddle, he was gunna do it!-Damn it Jack...- Maybe not today, and maybe not tomorrow, but 8D would get this ice queen to laugh if it killed him! No that is not foreshadowing shut up..."Is it a biological thing or more a, you just don't find a lot of things funny? Cus a man has pride ya know? Ehehe! I mean I 'd be the LAUGHINGSTOCK of the clown community if I couldn't make you laugh! Ehehehe!... Man that one was bad..."

A small glint of a plan flashed across 8D's eyes for a moment before he recovered from his downtrodden state and returned to his happy go lucky demeanor."Actually sense it seems I am gathering a full class, I would prefer if I taught you my ways first, Ehehe, kill two birds with one stone if you will, that is to say... If you wouldn't mind a classmate."
