Childhood Memories(Toffee)

Seeing all those arcade machines brought some fond memories to Gionatan's mind, he and his brother playing together until they got tired and returned home. Perhaps that's why he decided to visit Arcadia by himself, to remember the old times, an attempt to make this melancholy that took over him recently go away. The young man started to walk around Arcadia looking for a machine that he used to play as a kid, although he doubted he'd find one considering those games should be at least 10 years old, so anything that caught his attention should be enough.

"Oh?"A smile appeared on GioGio's face when he came across a familiar logo on one of the machines, it was a sequel to his favorite game, but it was the closer it would get so he would take, besides it would be quite interesting to see what changed. He took a few steps towards the machine, inserted a coin and started to play the game.

Bruno was wandering around in the arcade, rather then looking at the contents of the arcade games, he was checking out the mechanics of the video games, and was enjoying looking at how it worked before a staff told him he had to play a game if he wanted to stay. So, the giant went over to explore a game he could try out. So he continued to wander around some more, this time he paid more attention to the titles to try and find a nice game to play and all. Eventually he had found a game to play, a sort of car racing game, and inserted a coin into the slot.

Several hours later, Bruno stumbled away from the machine, with a dazed and confused. He thought he had been doing so well, he obeyed the road rules and all of the other rules like the right of way, but it turned out he was doing rather poorly, and was supposed to crash into everything in the game. Looking around and seeing other sort of games that were based around violence, and he was rather confused. Why were violence games so appealing to people? So he continued to wander, before he saw a figure around a game and seemed to look pretty happy around a game. Moving closer to see, he smiled brightly, his face illuminated by the light of the arcade machine. "H-Hello!" he grinned

Gionatan was having fun with the game, he got quite far in the game but was eventually defeated, seeing how well he was doing GioGio wasn't about to stop any time soon, he pulled another coin from his trouser's pocket and when he was just about to insert it he stopped upon seeing something purple in the corner of his vision. The young man turned his head to see another male, a rather tall one, and said male was greeting him.

"Buongiorno."GioGio greeted the purple haired boy back calmly with a half smile on his face"Do you want to use the machine?We could play a match together."He gestured towards the machine with his right hand, as far Gionatan is concerned it wasn't uncommon for kids to challenge each other, even kids they never talked to before.

Bruno paused when the unfamiliar greeting. 'Buon....buongio...' he thought to himself, trying to pronounce the word inside of his head before smiling again at the stranger. When asked to play the game, Bruno paused, not really expecting that question, he was just planning on watching, so he was left a little speechless, but after he zonked back to reality, he nodded his head shyly and shuffled toward the other end of the machine where the other set of controls were.

Staring down at the controls with a puzzled smile on his face, he inserted a coin into the slot and looked up at the stranger again. "Er...h-how do y-you play th-this mister?" he asked, smiling and looking a little embarrassed at his lack of knowledge regarding the game. He brushed off the clothes he was wearing, a dress shirt and some black pants before continuing to stare at the screen with a confused and slightly worried look on his face.

Gionatan let out a small laugh when the other male referred to him as 'mister' "You don't have to be so formal, call me GioGio... So, what's your name?" The purple haired boy appeared to be really shy, Gionatan would have to be cautious to not make the other uncomfortable. "Huh?So you never played a fighting game?It's not that hard, your objective is to knock out the other character in a fight." He took a pause and pointed at the controls "You use the joystick to move the character and the other buttons to attack, depending of the combination of commands you make the character may perform a special move." There was more than that but he didn't wanted to bombard a newcomer with too much information, most of the commands were very intuitive anyways. "You should train a bit first, here." He'd insert a coin in the slot and take a few steps away from the machine.

Bruno nodded his head. 'Not so formal, right.' he thought as he smiled. He blinked a few times when his name was asked, as if he forgot for a few moments, before shaking his head. "O-oh, s-sorry! M-My name is Bruno, Bruno St.Peter! Nice to m-meet you M-er, GioGio!" he said, grinning ear to ear. When Gio expressed his surprise about Bruno never actually playing a fighting game, bruno nodded at the basic information given to him. Putting a hand on the joystick and the other resting above the buttons, he looked blankly at the character selection screen. A whole new can of worms. "Th-there's so many ch-characters t-to choose from!" he said excitedly before eventually coming to the choice of a vampire like figure with a few bats surrounding them. He began move around and tap the buttons, trying out the combos and getting the whole thing of it. "L-Like th-this, right G-Giogio?" he asked as he continued to try out the mechanics of the games.
