Subject: A Familiar Face (Eunomia ~ Samael) Tue Jun 21, 2016 3:23 pm
As Samael was dragged through the gravitational pull, he would see strange multicolored lights before he felt himself lose consciousness. When he woke up, he was on a strange surface that rippled with every touch his body made on it. He could see strange golden orbs float in the air around him, and not too far, a strange woman in an orb, clearly bored with herself. Strangely enough no one was around save for that enigma of a woman. Though something about her has changed, like she recently discovered something...

It would appear that further inspection of the portal-riddled place was impossible as Samael was very soon pulled by a force towards that large object in the middle of it all. Interesting? He wouldn't have thought it was possible to really go there, as it appeared to have no 'door' from what he had seen while he was down there. Alas, he wouldn't get to confirm an entrace either way, for the force would make him pass out once getting too close...
''.........''
For the second time in a fairly short timespan he would find himself waking up on foreign ground, and this time his sight would be assaulted by lots of golden everywhere, and a water-like surface underneath. These places were...upgrading in oddity, it would seem. He would take a moment to get used to the new surroundings before standing up, looking around the vast..dimension, or whatever it actually was. This would likely mean he wasn't about to follow the girl from before anytime soon, but with the ambition to help she had displayed before, he would have to hope she wouldn't do anything troubling instead. The two of them were obviously not accustomed to these 'worlds', that much was certain. Reflecting on the situation aside, he would soon catch sight of the one non-golden existence close by, which appeared to be....a woman in a bubble...? Very unusual... ''...Hello? If you don't mind me asking, is this your residence or are you here on a 'visit' like me?'', he would address her after a moment of consideration is he turned towards where she was. First things first, was she from here or was she another person dragged in...?

Eunomia slowly flickered awake as the new person arrived on the scene. She took a few moments to wake up properly, rubbing her eyes and even letting out a short yawn. Though, once she was actually alert, the former Goddess tilted her head at this person, and smirked.
//"...oh hey, it's you."// Euny crossed one limb over the other and leaned back as she stared at Samael. Oh, it was funny to her, how they were only meeting face-to-face now. //"Do you really need to ask? I'm from the same world as you, Ryer. Tell me, how did you get here? I don't remember there being more than one opening. Don't tell me you got all the way to the top?"//
//"Well, it's not that important."//
Euny stared at the Wild Card quite intently for a few seconds, as if appraising him. She had eyes in Erisia, but not this world, so it was strange to see someone like him in person. Why, she had a gander to say she was the weaker one this time. And the thought somewhat pleased her... the thought of gaining a new power pleased her, that was.
//"So, why are you here, then, hm? Did Yufosa find you too or did you just stumble in randomly? I swear, you Special Ones really are prone to the strangest events happening..."// She chuckled to herself. It had been this way in Erisia as well, so this was no real deviation. Nevertheless, she was very much interested in what had brought him here, of all people. Did that mean she would show up too? Oh, that would be the most amazing thing...

Samael would raise an eyebrow as he observed the woman as she spoke to him. Based on what she was saying, she knew him, even his name. But he was pretty sure she is not someone he had met before. With that unusually colored hair and all, it was unlikely he would have forgotten seeing her before. Who was she really? ''I wouldn't ask if I knew. I have no idea how you know me or my name, but I don't remember ever meeting you, so I found it logical to inquire.'' Even though she was seemingly from the same place as him, she was still a stranger...with some magical power if she had info on him out of nowhere. ''And...I would tell you how, but I am no wiser myself. It's as if I was pulled in by some sort of gravity, and I don't quite remember whether there was an actual entrance.'' Allthough she said there was one, so maybe that was it in some way? Or his path was a new one. You can't bank on anything in foreign territories....
He would keep looking back at her as she stared at him, taking the moments to think over the situation, even if he wasn't really coming up with anything useful so far. ''Perhaps it is random. And if it isn't, I wasn't informed. I woke up in an odd place that had portals leading to other worlds alongside one other girl, and I ended up being pulled here after a while. I know no more at the moment.'', he would answer with a slightly thoughtful look. She appeared to know more than he did despite all the questions however...''Yufosa is...?'', he would inquire afterwards, hoping to get at least one solid answer.

Soon, a rift would open nearby, and Aldred and Irina would walk through. Naturally Sharaku would be right behind them as he chose to follow. Both of them looked at Eunomia and then Samael. No one could tell what Aldred was thinking, but the look on Irina's face was of shock. "Who are you people? What is this lady doing here, and why are you in Yufosa's residence? What in the world is going to happen?" She said, grabbing at her hair and tugging at it. It was clear that they hadn't seen either of them before. Just how much did they not know about this situation?

//"Hrm, right... I forget you people couldn't stare back some times. My bad."// She shrugged, apparently in a good mood. Then again, why wouldn't she be? One of the two with the most potential in her home world was here now, and it may mean the other wasn't far behind. It excited her. //"I see. I wonder if this world is pulling people in at random... from what I can gather, it is fairly unstable, so that wouldn't be surprising. Normally, when something collapses in on itself, like a star when it dies, it gains a greater gravitational force. Maybe this is something like it. The world is dying, so it's pulling others in. Makes sense, no?"//
Euny's eyes shone with what Samael said next. Another girl? Well, if fate played its cards how she imagined it would, then this girl was most likely the other one visited by a God in their home world... Eunomia was about to speak up further, when another rift was torn open into the Core, and out stepped a few more interlopers.
//"Eunomia."// She introduced herself without much of a hassle, then turned her floating body towards the woman. //"I've been here for a long time, Yufosa brought me himself. And honestly, unless you decide to be passive bastards like me--"// She pointed at herself. //"--, probably nothing is going to happen."// Euny leaned back and turned her face towards Samael again. //"Yufosa's a tall old man with a pretty complicated beard and gray hair. He also has a few patches of black around his hair, but I think he just dyes those to look cool and hip. Though I just wish he could be more careful, he may end up breaking the latter."// The former Goddess crossed her legs and rested her head on her hands, simply observing what was going on for now... even if she actually now had the power to do something, if she just got out of this ball.

''Stare back...?'' Samael would question after taking in what the strange woman was saying. What did she mean by that? He kind of assumed it had to do with him not being able to tell how he got here and all, but it would still be nice to bet as much explanation as possible in this situation. After all, he would need to figure out just what was he even here for. He would cross his arms over his chest in thought as she spoke her next words. A dying world...was it this one? In which case, how were those they saw in the portals related to it..? ''So...this place is dying? What will happen if it does..?'' The typical answer would be that they all die, which was something he would expect, but you can never be sure. Maybe she would actually say something more than that. She seemed to be a bit vague with certain things, so he wasn't sure how much she really knew though..
~~~
Sharaku would follow with the duo, only to stop right after them, having sort of ran into more people. For a moment, he was mildly confused about what was going on. He thought they were going to visit Yufosa, but the man was apparently not here? And instead two others were hanging around. He would tilt his head slightly as the floating woman introduced herself and all, turning towards Irina and Aldred first. ''...I assume this is something you haven't heard of either? This situation just keeps getting more complicated...'' It was really questionable though. This place was their home, right? How did their leader keep someone here without the others knowing about it at all? Shaking his head slightly, he would glance back at the others. ''Speaking of Yufosa, where is he...?'' After all, they did come after him.
~~~
''And the party is getting bigger...'' Samael wasn't sure how to feel about so many people showing up when even the original mystery wasn't yet cleared up, but he was aware that he could hardly make his own rules in a foreign place like this. ''I was honestly more interested in what he does than his appearace, but thanks anyway.'', he would nod at the woman in thought. The way she spoke, he would guess said Yufosa held some importance here, and while identifying him was nice, knowing more would always be better. And it would also appear that the odd newcomers were searching after that man as well...

When Sharaku asked where Yufosa was, Aldred crossed his arms. "Naturally I haven't heard of the young man and woman. But Yufosa did say that he had been keeping some kind of prisoner locked up when he found her. Apparently she attacked him; I'm assuming this is who he meant. So does that mean you attacked our leader?" He asked Eunomia. Irina looked to Samael and shook her head. "Well, yeah. We get to watch the closest worlds, die and others around them. But you....you don't look like you come from a world nearby..." she walked up to him, examining his face closely as though he was a piece of jewelry. She placed hands around his face and his chin, before backing a few steps. "Your world is really far from here. Hey, old lady, do you know this kid from somewhere? You and him seem to have the same presence, like you both come from a really far away place. Start talking," She said, attempting to hit the bubble, only for it to repel her hand. She grabbed it in dismay, and then breathed out quickly. Meanwhile Aldred turned to Sharaku. "You have a point. I shall call for him. Why he is not here is peculiar. He always seems to be in this area..." With that he would step away, and summon a strange blade, and thrust it into the ground, causing a miasma of black and purple mist to appear around it. Was this how he called him?

Euny quirked an eyebrow at the knight. Attacked Yufosa? Her? Hrm... now that he mentioned it, that may have happened. She wasn't quite sure. One thing that was for sure, though, if it happened now, she wouldn't have attacked him, so she could confidently say that this person, who she was now, wasn't guilty of that.
//"I don't remember doing such a thing, why would I?"// The former Goddess shrugged, then crossed her arms again. She only smirked as Irina tried to bonk the ball, and unconsciously called on a little card bearing the Justice Arcana. //"So many demands, didn't your leader tell you anything? Looks like he's hiding more than you guys would have liked. Sit down for a bit and I'll tell you what you want to know, don't worry."// Eunomia bent the card between three fingers and crushed it to summon a fairly large tome to her hand, which she began reading casually.
//"Hey, Sam, you might want to sit down too, this'll probably explain why you met with that crazy bastard that no-one else could see. The Crawling Chaos sure likes to play tricks on the mind, doesn't he?"// She hummed casually, seemingly unaffected by whatever was going on outside. The fact that Yufosa wasn't here did, however, pique her interest. Actually, now that she thought about it, where was Dio in all of this? She only wished she could still communicate with him telepathically, she'd demand him to return to her this instant. What a chore...

...a prisoner? Well, these guys seemed to really be good at keeping numerous secrets and whatnot, so he shouldn't have been surprised to hear this one, but it was still not what Sharaku would have expected as an answer. ''Why would someone like him even need to keep prisoners...'', he honestly didn't know what to say to this, and said woman was denying parts of what was being said, which made the matter no less complicated. He would sigh. ''Well, I suppose we have no other choice but to listen for now and wait...'' He wasn't sure what exactly was Aldred doing, but if it had to do with calling Yufosa over, then they could do no more but to wait if it would work. And maybe this girl in a bubble would actually reveal something useful meanwhile, who knows? It would certainly be nice to know more besides vague guesses and reminders that information was being kept secret for some unknown reason...
~~~
Samael watched the small crowd, listening to them talk, sadly not really understanding most of what was being addressed. Being from a supposed faraway place sure wasn't helping him in this situation, even if this Eunomia woman was really from the same world as him. It's not like he knew her or anything. He would raise an eyebrow, slightly puzzled as the green haired woman walked over to touch him. ''Yes...?'' These people certainly knew how to be a confusing bunch. ''It seems that way. But as of now, I'm about as clueless as you lot when it comes to the meaning of this all.'' Was it a special thing that he was from a world far away...? They made it sound that way, but with the little information he had...well, he couldn't really confirm anything. ''...you sure seem to know a lot. I guess we'll listen then...?'' What else could they do? Well, he at least didn't have a lot of choice. He wouldn't even know where to go in this place...
"dammitalltohelli'msosaltythathegottogetawaywithhisdumbbusiness." Dio walked in, smiling halfway but with a clear grumpy tone in his voice as he walked in on a crowd. How dare he just up and vanish? The other newbies wouldn't have done that at all! He looked upon the group as Aldred and Irina returned their odd stares. Dio suddenly stopped and turned on his devilish grin. He looked to Samael and waved with the same hand he used to trick him the first time they met. "oh hey there kid. been a while, but you're talkin' to my lady friend here. did you and her start dating?" Irina crossed her arms as Dio lifted his own in denial. "baby i'll be good to you i promise. don't do that." Irina sneered. It seemed they had a history neither of them were interested in sharing. Aldred still had to focus on his own business, so he could say nothing at the moment. If Eunomia wanted to continue her tale, she was free to do so.
Dio shook his head. "well sammy, i missed you. seems you can't catch a break in your world. sorry, gotta lay that on me a bit," he said rubbing the back of his head. "what with much of other worlds going to hell, and mostly cause my first girlfriend is trapped here, i decided to pull you out. it was a bit easier. and honestly, you're probably gonna do better than these other chumps i see. you're not as much of a loser." he walked towards him and gave him a pat on the shoulder, before grabbing his cheek and giving it a light pinch. He then took a few steps towards Eunomia and patted the sphere with a smirk. "oi babe. start talking. i gotta get this goof down to help or we all get a big mouthful from the old man."
Eunomia froze for a few seconds once Dio showed up and, and............. immediately directed his attention towards that other woman, in a much closer manner than she liked. The Goddess' eyes were fixated on Irina for seconds on end, as her mind ran through around one hundred and fifty nine possibilities on how to kill her in the most brutal ways, and around ninety three of which were very, VERY painful.
//"...H-hmph."//
Euny turned her back on the group once Dio came to knock on her prison, though a quick peek around would reveal a very clear frown and pout on her face, even as she continued flipping through the book's pages. Though, once HE told HER what to do, the former Goddess knocked the chamber herself, right where he had hit it, then started shouting in some kind of tantrum.
//"Q-quiet, you! YOU don't tell ME when to start talking, you understand?! Y-you good-for-nothin' shameless flirt! StupidshamelessflirtI'llshowyou..."//
The former Goddess frantically flipped through her Persona's pages to distract herself from his annoying demeanor, but stopped flailing and grumbling once she reached a specific page... There it was, right in front of her.
It was time to begin...
~The History of Erisia Dysnomia~
//"The Universe of Erisia... our home universe. Unlike yours, it didn't shine brightly, our skies were not filled with little spots of light, and we had no company in our system. No, our world was alone, in a small, confined space, with a single star, and a single satellite. We looked up at the sky but saw only darkness beyond our shining "Moon", saw only loneliness in our future. We didn't dream of leaving Erisia, it was futile to explore an infinite nothing."//
//"In the beginning there was only the two of us. Me, and..."//
//"..him."//
//"I don't recall how he got his power or what he chose to name himself, but before our world was created, he was a genius by the name of Zant Tabber. Prior to our conflict, he belonged to a cult... the Cult of Eunomia. Like the rest of my followers, he devoted his life to me, my summoning, and my teachings. Ten years before the End of his Universe, I was brought into his world, an Earth not unlike yours, truly, but far, far more advanced... My goal was to bring eternal order to his world, to his universe, by making it static. Never changing, with an everlasting peace and calm. In some circles, you might even call it the... Heat Death of your Universe. I chose to see it for what it was: unchanging quiet and Order."//
//"However, unlike the remainder of my followers, Zant grew discontent and horrified at my plans. He devised... something, some kind of weapon to counter a God. I do not know where he found the resources or the knowledge to build it, but the weapon was a program with the ability to override reality itself. He dubbed this weapon, this Blade with which to seal me, The Monado. Its activation was... devastating. It terrified even myself, as his entire world-- no, his entire Universe was engulfed in a single flash of white and consumed by this impossible weapon. Only he and I lasted in the void, battling for control; him as the Administrator, and I as the only other remaining Godly being. He used his Monado to seal part of my powers, however, and constrained me to a world of his creation. A world with a single floating continent, filled with an all-consuming fog dubbed the Sea of Death, and its Tower of Life piercing straight through the middle. This is the world he named Erisia Dysnomia, as the opposite to me, Eunomia. After this event, his consciousness went dormant, with his instructions, unbeknownst to myself, already underway."//
//"In this world, two races developed, each by mine and his metaphorical hands. Zant had the Monado remake humans in its own image, but he miscalculated one thing: a computer cannot comprehend emotions, it cannot take them into account when storing souls. And so these humans first appeared without feelings, out of the blue, as if they simply were placed there. But humans are nothing if not persistent, and these first people reclaimed what had been taken from their hearts, and made new emotions on their own. The files for the original emotions, in turn, as they could not be read, were discarded. I, in turn, made my own race from scratch, drawing vaguely from human ingenuity and Zant's own book for my biomechanical beings. Those who I called Diplos, a double of your race. Much against either of our expectations, the Monado created its own beings, animals like your own but... different, in a way. Beings it decided to call Zos."//
//"The world, however, was naturally far more unstable than yours. While there is spiritual energy in any old world, Erisia's own wasn't dormant within people. It flowed freely in the world, always active, unlike the inert power inside someone with the Potential. Humans mistook their released power for magic, and the resource they expended, they dubbed Mana. This Mana had strange side effects, however. It reacted with the emotions the Monado had discarded from the souls it had collected, and amplified them. It created the final race in Erisia: the Sfalma you fought not too long ago. As spiritual energy is derived from a person's soul, it draws its power from emotions, hence why it created beasts made out of pure instinct, without rationality."//
//"But humans were not powerless against these beasts. While most had lost their ability to control their spiritual energy, or their Mana, there were a few who retained the Potential, and so, in a fit of bravery, awoke to their primordial powers and combated the Sfalma, for the sake of their race. As humanity was small in population, these people were deemed as heroes. They aided the remaining humans in defending themselves, making rudimentary weapons that capitalized on what little control the majority of the population had on Magic, and so they became the first inventors and teachers. Despite this, the world moved on, and their names were lost to the times. Due to the dependency of humanity on these weapons, fewer and fewer experienced the hardship necessary to awaken to their power, and so only a handful retained innate control over Magic. Most specifically, a single lineage: the Dahllia family, ancestors to the Maiden of Eris and Maiden of Harmonia. This family produced heirs that consistently awoke to their latent powers at infancy, and were seen as the guardians of humanity. With their protection, people gathered under a single tribe, and so the settlement of Eirini was first formed."//
//"Humanity prospered for the next half of a millennium, until the ruler became the Maidens' Great-Grandfather. He was not, by any means, a bad ruler, as he ruled well into his children's lives. Forty-one years before the birth of the Maidens, this man had a stroke of genius. Perhaps due to his own Persona's intervention, he invented a new defense system, much like how Zant had come up with the Monado millennia before him. He used this defense system, the Barriers, to create a wall made of pure Magic around the Colony of Eirini. As it turned out, the Barrier repelled the similarly made Sfalma, maybe due to their equal polarity. It's not clear just what kind of Magic made them work, and for a time, not even I knew. But now, well... I suppose it's a mystery you'd have to figure out for yourself. Nevertheless, after bestowing this gift unto humanity, he fell into the eternal embrace of death, happy that his life had given his people the greatest way to defend themselves from the threats in the outside world."//
//"The Colony of Eirini grew over the next forty-five years, living under a single ruler and his consort. However, the latest ruler, Kalos' and Lux's father, had been born as the younger of two siblings, with an older brother in line for the throne. This brother, however, was born with a physical deficiency that made him unable to rule, and so his younger sibling took to the throne instead of him. Even still, the older brother resented his younger one for taking what was supposed to be his, and resented life even more for having taken his rightful chance. As the smarter of the two, the older brother gathered a large team of inventors, workers and soldiers and exiled himself from the Colony of Eirini, moving to the opposite side of the continent. For the next five years, he, alongside his followers, would built what became known as the Colony of Parangelia, sapping Eirini of nearly the entirety of its productive population."//
//"Shortly after Parangelia was built, however, the older brother gave into his resentment and planned the murder of his brother by himself. One fateful night, during a private dinner between the two, the younger brother had offered him the chance to take the throne due to his own insecurities as a person. As a father, he felt as if the obligations of the throne were preventing him from giving his daughters the love they deserved. The older brother, however pained he felt, though, did not listen to his younger sibling's words. Instead, he slipped a vial of poison into the ruler's drink, and watched as his brother's face twisted into one of regret, and his body fell limb on the floor. Despite this, though, the older brother had not accounted for one thing: his own deficiency. Caught in the reality of what he had just done, the brother succumbed to despair, and his heart gave out as well. With a single, last beat, the man clutched his chest, and fell beside his brother, leaving the two Colonies with no rulers."//
//"The ruler's consort, the Maidens' mother, lived only for her daughters, but her own despair and grief overtook her after only two years, which left the 9-year old Maidens as the only ones fit to take the throne of the Colonies. The two were separated from each other, with Kalos being dragged to Parangelia against her will, and Lux being forced into staying in Erisia. As the two new rulers of the Colonies, the sisters were dubbed the Maiden of Harmonia and Maiden of Eris respectively, as an attempt to calm the people's hearts. They were told they were the ones that would bring peace to humanity, and perhaps, that prophecy was right, if things had taken their rightful turn..."//
//"Kalos ruled Parangelia much like her uncle had, and was raised under the city's strict and orderly system. As a result, she became the first ruler to propose a formal and proper education system. Lux, however, ruled Eirini like her father, with self-doubt and insecurities about her position. She bore no children, but had two confidants by her side. The General of the Royal Guard, Lumen Nightfang, and her second-in-command, Lieutenant Alpha Harken. While Lux had these two, though, Kalos only had one confidant, Lieutenant Masuda Kyrielite, a childhood friend of both Maidens, but long-time resident of Parangelia."//
//"And that brings us to the present day. While humans were developing in the surface of Erisia, I had my own plans for my Diplos, naturally."//
//"As you can imagine, the mechanical monsters that invaded the Colonies were my own subordinates. Metal Face and Jade Face, each of them bearing Diplos pilots of high renown. Zant, for the longest time, had left Erisia to its own devices, dormant inside four split beings. But, even then, I only recently discovered that Lux's and Kalos' ascension to power was his own plan, far before he was split. I, however, interrupted this plan by kidnapping the Maiden of Harmonia, and turning her over to my own side. You saw this happen yourself, Samael, after all. I met with Kalos myself, accompanied by the Leader of my Diplos, Yaldin Aurelia, pilot of the Gold Face machine. While this went on, I sent Dio to meet with you, Ryer. I tried to kidnap Lux as well but... that woman was far more powerful than her sister. Her power was more pure, not tainted by the Crawling Chaos as Kalos' was. Heh. The Maiden of Harmonia was very much like you, Ryer. Except she wasn't as special as she liked to think. Lux, however, had been favored as Erisia's champion. I don't know whether Zant had a hand in making her so powerful, but even the immense strength the Crawling Chaos grants to His followers wouldn't be able to overpower her. It gladdens me to imagine how interesting they'd both turn out if they just had the time to grow... I wonder, if they would end up killing each other."//
//"But that brings us to why we're here now. I suppose I should explain... but once Zant's consciousness turned dormant, it was stored inside the Monado itself, and formed into a physical blade. I took this opportunity to seal it inside the frozen second floor of Erisia, but not long after the Maidens were born, a team sent by their uncle discovered the Tower where I had sealed it, and found, alongside it, two young children. This was unexpected, but an interesting development nonetheless. I saw no harm in letting these children live and grow up to become who some would know as Kalyan and Danielle. Their purpose was unknown to me until a mysterious man came to meet me in my Rinkernator, an area supposedly off limits from all humans. He claimed he knew of me from his memories, and described Zant Tabber's life in perfectly accurate detail. That was you, Dio. His essence, though, his soul, was exactly akin to Danielle's and Kalyan's. Then, I searched frantically, throughout the whole world, for another person with this soul. And, naturally... I found you, Samael Ryer. I wasn't the only one, though, as I'm sure your Godly friend would like to point out."//
//"I don't personally know why you share Zant Tabber's soul, but a simple test revealed to me that you all have one other thing in common: if you were to wield the Monado, you would be able to control it... to a degree. If you four were to give up your powers for the ability to simultaneously use the Blade, you would be capable of restoring Erisia to how it was before Zant ever turned it into what it is now. But, it seems like that's not possible now. Kalyan is missing, and so is his Monado. A pity, really..."//
//"And so, that brings us to the closing development. The fate of Erisia... As it stands now, Erisia is asleep, but its inhabitants are not. Sfalma are frozen in time, as they are part of the world, but Magic weapons stopped working. Only those with latent spiritual energy can even defend themselves in our world, though that's not quite so bad, given that the main threat to their safety is gone. Even still, both mine and Zant's plans have come grinding to a halt, with no way to progress. That's why I had Dio use the Monado to open a pathway to a new world. A path between Multiverses... it's exciting. Even your Core wouldn't have affected us where we are. Zant Tabber's genius is truly incredible, to be able to create technology that was capable of making even an entire universe be detached from every single other possible one. Hehe... hehehe. Hahahahaha. It's obvious a weapon like that would one-up a God!"//
//"What a great bedtime story. Want me to tell it again?"//
Great, another guest? They certainly kept piling up. And yet, no useful answers were given to anything in the end. Whoever this guy was, he seemed more interested in playing around than serious business, and while Sharaku half listened to the story the woman in the bubble gave...well, he wasn't really seeing what importance it held here. They were trying to save the worlds directly involved, right? So technically, storytelling about things that were of little use right now was a bit of a time waste. Who knows how much time they had before things were too far to fix...''Is anything of this relevant to what is going on...?'' Honestly, he was just confused at this point.
...er, what? Samael would turn his head to glance at Dio. ''You...?'' This wasn't making any real sense right now. He still had no idea as to why was he even here at all, and for some weird reason, other people from his home were waltzing around as well. Just like that, as if this was a normal thing. ''Am I some tool to be passed around now? And why would you need me specifically either way? I would wager that people who have been involved from the start would have a better idea of how to help than me. I still don't even know what is truly happening side from the fact that the worlds are dying.'' It wasn't that he was against doing anything, but why him exactly? It's pretty weird to grab at someone who has barely even gotten here when you could make use of people who are way more familiar with this already. He would rub his cheek with a faint sigh. ''I see you still like to play around.'' That was the only thing he had gotten to see of the guy after all. As for the story that was given...well, as interesting as it was, he didn't really know what to do with it. ''And what does that mean for the present? It clearly seems the past cannot be changed at this point.'' Did she say all that for a reason, or just because it had been bought up? While it was...a rather unusual kind of story, whether true or not, it was all past, right?
