A Visitor For The Devout (Cecilia)

"Well if you want I could bring some crumpets over from time to time. A lot of my friends can't stop talking about this one bakery. Usually I just blow all my money on sweets, but I wouldn't mind picking up a batch from there at some point if they have any." Cecilia would offer with a smile. It wasn't a request for membership or anything, but she figured it was better than nothing. Besides, Maria seemed like a nice girl. She wouldn't mind being friends with her.

Quite the tempting offer. Underneath her innocent exterior, Maria was already salivating deep inside. She didn't have a full breakfast yet since she had to leave so soon. Maria was able to snap out of it as she hesitantly smiled back at her. "Oh no, you don't have to. It's already covered in the club budget anyway, hahaha..."

In hindsight that could look a bit bad if someone tried to look further into it with the club being a British Interest club. So far it was just her simply doing nothing and having all the room to herself. How did it make her any different from Louise? Never mind that! She had to leave now!


Hurriedly, she took off at a swiftness that was rather astounding by human standards. Cecilia was a nice girl... maybe it couldn't hurt to ask her for some crumpets from time to time...

Cecilia would offer a quick wave goodbye as she pondered briefly over what it was that had Maria in such a rush. Well, whatever the case, it was none of her concern. The girl swiftly cleared the thoughts from her mind and turned to the statue of Isla. Kneeling down before it, she'd gently clench her hands together and close her eyes; the girl beginning to pray aloud in the otherwise silent church. She spent some time like this, giving thanks to Isla and making a few meager requests, before heading off to school as Maria had earlier.
