Aya looked at the hand offered and didn't attempt to shake it. "I don't care who you are lady. My name doesn't matter." She noticed the other man show up too and sighed heavily. "What are you two, my parents? I've done this for longer than you all have been in school. Go be goody-two shoes somewhere else; I earned it here." Aya had little else to say, so she began to turn from them and walk across the street, avoiding vehicles, and even causing one to near slam on their breaks with a loud horn. It looked like they caught up, but mere words were not gonna stop Aya from getting away with her prize. Something had to be done before she could escape down the alleyway.

Geez... this other man really didn't make this any better. She really should've just given up on the chase, but honestly, this... was actually getting kind of fun. A nice little distraction from her previous predicament. Now, how to get her attention, then? What could make her stop? Batilde just wanted to help her out, and all that, and maybe even get a friend out of the deal... Of course, with how poor her social skills were, she had no clue what was actually socially acceptable and what not, following Aya across the street, and in an act of desperation, the french girl... Half hugged, half tackled Aya to the ground. "Stop. We're gonna eat out together, and you will like it!"

They offered help and she refused, if they insisted the thief would get more aggressive than she already was. He shrugged after listening to what Aya had said and decided to leave, he should have called the cops in the first place, but now was too late for that.

Before GioGio actually left, the french girl out of the blue tackles Aya, as if she wanted to force the thief to accept the help. That could put Batilde in trouble, people like Aya tend to carry weapons with them or at least know how to hit really hard. Gionatan walked up to the two and attempted to pull Batilde away from Aya"Are you out of your mind?You offered help and she said no, there's not much you can do now."He let out a sigh.

Well, being tackled was definitely not what she was expecting, though she was ready in case they tried to fight her. She had her knife on her person, and would pull it out, but she would be tackled and brought into her grip and sent to the ground. As she hit the ground though, she shot her knee up into her stomach, and would try to push her off anyway. It was bad enough they were following her, now they kept staring, like it meant shit to them who Aya was. SHe'd let the other man help her up, and she'd roll back and push herself up, hiding much of her face behind her hair, and her hat. She was hunched over slightly, like she was becoming slightly more feral, and breathing heavily. Clearly she was not happy.

"Good. This guy understands, unlike people like you. You don't know when to fucking quit. No means no," she said. Why were people so insistent on butting in? Perhaps the thought of food was making her feel interested in it; but the girl was just so annoying! "I earned the food I get. I'm not spoiled enough like you to be given it." She stared at them, mostly unmoving. If that girl was gonna spout some bullshit, she wouldn't be in the mood to hear any of it.

Welp... she tried at least... Oh well. The knee in the stomach wasn't paticularly pleasant, and was enough of a signal that she should probably leave. "..." Bruised up a little bit, the girl left the area, in a vain attempt to get back home to East Eden. Too many adventures for one day. Perhaps, she wasn't ready to deal with those kinds of people yet...

That ended up better than expected, but still not great, Batilde got hit and the thief's victim just lost a few dollars and their documents... Sure, nothing they couldn't recover from, but GioGio couldn't help but few bad, maybe it was past time he returned home, there was nothing left for him there. Without saying another word, Gionatan left the vicinity.

At least they knew when to back off. You can never find smarts like that anymore. She would continue down the alleyway, counting her "earnings". It was time to enjoy herself for the day.
