| Wasn't it great? The outdoors, that is. Sure, all of it was part of the disgusting, overcrowded city of Shitdymion, but man, didn't it feel good regardless of that fact!? For instance, Frog could always relax during these walks and let his imagination run wild. It was like the fresh air gave way to new inspiration that would never occur to him if he tried thinking them up in front of his laptop at home.
So yes, he was always looking forward to any opportunity to walk his dog and drag the walk into hours if he wasn't feeling sick or tired. That day was no exception. Sunlake Palms were a great place to walk the dog, you know, since everybody wanted to pet the most gigantic dog they'd seen in their entire lives and Frog quite frankly enjoyed the attention, even if it wasn't directed at him in particular, buuuuuuuut......East Eden was a haven. Like, holy crap. There were barely any people or roads, everything was in meadows and fields. Okay, fields were crap because they couldn't pass through them and all the animals and compost smelled like crap because, well, of crap. Used crap three times in a sentence - achievement unlocked!
Back on topic, Frog and Titus were walking through the meadows of East Eden, afternoon sun turning more red every passing minute. Frog felt safe enough in the Eden to even let his dog off the leash when he was certain there were no other dogs nearby. That day, however, he was feeling a bit tired, probably because of that robot dog they met earlier, so he decided to, reluctantly, try something new. As he let Titus off the leash, the dane running around like a stupid, but adorable dog he was, Frog threw himself into the soft grass and laid like that.
Titus, however, noticed someone nearby and began sniffing the air curiously. Who could it be?

| Dogs obviously had a better sense of smell, isn't that right? That would soon be proven correct as another showed up on the premises. Perhaps the blue-eyed wolfdog came down this path by chance, or perhaps it was because he sniffed out another dog nearby. Whether it was one reason or the other, the fairly large canine would make his way around, ears picking up as he spotted the dane. For the moment, he would just stand a few meters away as if observing the other one.
The wolfdog had a large spiked collar hung on his neck, making it apparent he had an owner instead of being a wild animal or a stray, but his owner didn't seem to be around just yet. Was it because said pet ran away too fast, or because the owner trusted his dog to behave even when at distance? The dark-furred canine didn't appear to have a leash attached to him despite the collar, so maybe it was the latter. Regardless he was now here, and would probably attract the attention of the duo soon, or at the very least the young man's dog.

| Yes, there was indeed someone approaching - Titus thought to himself as he kept sniffing at the air around them. A male... dark... tall... Oh, look, here he is!
"Buf!" Titus let out a 75 Kg bark at the other dog before chasing into a full-blown sprint towards it, tail wagging behind him. Frog lazily raised his head above the tall grass. "Titus... Calm down, we're alone here..." He said as he yawned and let his head drop back onto the soft surface of the soil, picking up the phone from his pocket to check on his game. That dog knew how to be loud only when it would annoy everyone else around him the most... In every other situation, he was a calm little plum. Anyways, he probably just saw a bird or something dumb like that.
Only, that wasn't the case. Titus ran up to the tall, dark dog that arrived at the scene. As tall as this new dog was, Titus's head still stooped high above its, at around 1.1 to 1.2 m tall. A real giant he was. But a playful one. He stopped right in front of the other dog and laid with his chest on the ground, while his behind stayed up, hind legs ready to burst into a sprint.

| Well well, wasn't the other one quite eager? Such a big mass barreling into someone would surely be pretty dangerous. Thankfully, that wouldn't happen. Or so it appeared. Despite the noticeable size differences, the dark one didn't seem to feel threatened as he let out a short bark, showing his teeth to the other. ''Arf!'' Being a wolfdog, Loki was perhaps a bit more wild than playful at times, even though it wasn't likely that he would attempt to attack anyone. His ears would twitch lightly, as he'd briefly turn his head towards where the human's voice sounded from before.
For some reason he seemed a bit more interested in that than the large dog in front of him who seemed like he wanted to play. Well, he still could try, but for now, Loki would bound off towards where Frog was, and unless he was stopped mid-way, he'd stop just behind the young man's head, sitting down on the ground there with a tilt of his head. Did he want something or was he just intrigued by the human?
Meanwhile, Noah was making his way through the greenery, humming under his breath. He wasn't really bothered that Loki had ran ahead a bit, since it was kind of a normal occurence. He rarely kept the guy on a leash, unless he actually had to for some reason. At this pace, he would probably reach the meeting site pretty soon though.

| "Buf..? Buf, buf!!!" Titus whined as the other ignored him. W-whyyyyyyyyy! He was ready to subject himself just to get some playtime... And the tall, dark didn't want to play... Unable to restrain his instincts, Titus ran after the dog, slowly adjusting his pace to its and finally stopping. Where have they stopped? Oh, he could see his master's head upside down if he looked down! Hey, maste-
"Titus, no!" Frog pushed his dog's snout away before he could drool all over his glasses and face. "Also, what the heck, where did this dog come from!?" Geez, he knew letting Titus off the leash was a bad idea. Just meant extra stress and constant worry. He couldn't relax even if only for a bit! Quickly, he got up (but didn't forget to first stick his phone back where it belonged to in times of crisis - the safety of his pocket) and grabbed Titus in a clynch by the neck, laying almost the entirety of his weight on the dog's back. Titus didn't mind that as he barely felt anything leaning against him nor squeezing him. He probably had more muscle power in his neck than Frog had in his torso! Anyhow, Titus didn't mind it and it was a way for Frog to hold his dog back with 100 percent certainty and success rate. The goodie giant wouldn't budge when caught like that.
Now then, the situation halted. Frog was eyeing the dark wolfdog and expecting a violent reaction, even though the way the dog tilted its head and seat revealed no violent intent. Really though, Frog'd do anything to keep them from fighting. It wasn't about the other dog, but Titus could hurt it in a fight with how much bigger and stronger he was! "..."

| The resulting situation turned out to be quite amusing, alas there's no saying how well could a dog understand what exactly was going on. Either way, Loki appeared to be content with watching the large dog and his owner do a weird hug in front of him as he sat down. He'd just give a light bark with his ears twitching a bit as he kept seizing the duo up with his light blue eyes. ''Arf...'' Perhaps Frog didn't really need to worry about a fight breaking out, unless his own dog threw him away and started one himself. While Loki did have some fight in him, he was at least smart enough to not be inclined to pick a bone with a larger opponent for nothing. He'd rather hunt smaller animals than have a bloody fight with another canine. Thus, nothing would really happen from his side.
That said, Noah would finally get nearby the commotion at this point, his attention grabbed pretty fast. There's no way one can not notice two fairly large dogs in the field, along with a young man hanging onto one of them. The grass certainly wasn't tall enough to hide all that from view. Noah would whistle under his breath at the scene. So that's where the bugger went, eh? He never gave it much thought to begin with, but it was indeed likely that people would come and walk their pets in East Eden. It was definitely one of the most suitable places for that as long as you could affor to take the time to come here. Mild amusement at the scenery aside, he would approach the trio from the side.''Found a new buddy?''
''Arf!''
''Heh. Hello though. I hope he didn't cause you any trouble. He likes to wander around on his own a lot.'' The last sentence would be addressed towards Frog himself, that is.

...was anyone gonna do anything already!? The black-haired canine in front of them didn't seem to be fazed by the whole situation. He just kept staring at them with those twitchy ears and soft barks and light blue eyes. At the very least it didn't seem to be in for a fight, so that was a plus. Frog loosened the grip on Titus. Still, where was the owner? Uuugh, those were the worst, just letting their dogs run off miles ahead of them and make problems for the more honorable citizens like Frog himself! Insolent, rude, disrespectful trash-eating, stupidity-spouting peasa- "Hiiiiiiii~!"
Holy bananas, the owner had arrived and as he did so, Frog plastered on a wide grin on his face to greet the man. "Nonono, don't worry, there were no problems. You've got a really polite dog here, you must have raised it well!" He answered politely as he put his dog back on a leash and got up himself. Now that the formalities were solved, though, Frog had nothing more to say than to smile and wish for this person to either go away or, I dunno, do something. "..."

| Huh? What was that grin for? Ah well, no matter. It's not like he was gettong bitched at right now, so there was no reason for Noah to really question the effects that he got alongside his answer. Not verbally at least. Sure, it would perhaps be entertaining to do so, but he wasn't looking to pick an argument at the moment. ''He knows he can't cause too much trouble. I can't go around solving his messes all the time after all.'' Maybe he would, maybe he wouldn't. But if Loki went and got himself hurt out of his own choice, that was something he'd need to deal with himself. It would be a pain to deal with possibly pissed people though, so Noah hoped such wouldn't happen anytime soon.
Noah would stick his hands in his pockets as Loki got up to move himself next to his owner, staying put for now. ''You've got a really big one though. Isn't he hard to deal with?'' Now that he was already here, might as well? Actually, it wasn't often he ran into other dog owners around, so it was an interesting change of pace this time around. Maybe there weren't many at all? That, or he had lackluster luck when it came to meeting any. Not that it haunted him at night anyway. Just a passing thought now that he was being faced with this.

| So the dog was a calm one, eh? Its looks really sort of gave off that cold-blooded killer vibe too... Now that Frog really gave it some thought, the dog really didn't show any apparent hostility, but looked like it could kill if it really came to something like that. And enjoy it. Enjoy it real good, like a proper wolf.
In amy case, yes, dog owners should go around solving their dogs' messes. Or, even better, prevent any from even occuring! That was the whole job description!!! Frog wasn't gonna say anything though, of course. No point in that unless he was provoked and pissed, which he wasn't.
"Nah, it's not that hard. I mean, he's a wuss and if I hold him right, he won't do anything. Food and all that, eheh, he does eat a lot when he feels like it. I guess the biggest problem is taking care of him financially, which is my parents' problem anyways, so like..."
Meanwhile, Titus began slowpy but surely pulling in the direction of the two others, dragging Frog along with him as he was scratching the back of his head awkwardly with a grin, that was supposed to look polite, splotched across his face. He went up to the dog and began sniffing carefully, trying to circle around him and get to his behind.

| ''That's kinda cute....'', Noah would comment with a bit of amusement in his tone. One would expect a huge dog such as this one to be more couragous than that. Of course, size doesn't always matter, but it is easier to get around when you aren't at a disatvantage right away. Funnily enough, sometimes the little dogs were the most aggresive ones. Maybe compensating..? Eh, he was hardly an expert on dogs anyway. Having one doesn't make you know it all, and while he liked animals in general, he wouldn't aim to be a vet or something. No thanks on that front.
''....he sure drags you around pretty easy though.'' Was holding back something that big even possible? Heh, maybe if you were a pro in that field, but some of these four legged buggers had a lot of strength you wouldn't expect. Meanwhile, Loki would give the bigger one a look, but let him do as he pleased for now, not attempting to get away. Perhaps he was just waiting for something, or simply didn't perceive the other as a possible issue at the moment.

| This was mildly fun in a very unfunny and unpleasant way. This guy asked a question about Titus and, upon getting his answer, did not immediately follow up with another question, as was the generally accepted turn of events Frog's gotten used to over the 2 years they've had the dane. Not only that, but he commented the cuteness of the personality, not the dog itself, like, once again, the general public tended to do. A new question did come, but it was also one Frog hadn't heard before. Usually, people were too restrained to comment on the fact he sometimes, um... let Titus drag him. Yeeeeeah, he let him drag him. He could've easily held him back, r-right! J-just didn't wanna, nopetety-nopenope! But this guy was more direct. Honestly, the question insulted Frog a bit, but it also proved him the person he was talking to was a cut above the stupid peasants that encircled him every day, which was both a good thing and a bad thing-it made him more unpredictable, and even plannable interactions made Frog shudder on the inside.
"Haha, you gotta see him when he really wants something." Frog kept smiling as Titus got behind the wolfdog and would begin sniffing his behind unless, well, the sniffee decided the sensation of a huge dog pushing its snout toward their butt wasn't desireable. Since no words were being spoken, Frog decided to follow up with how he usually handled these situation. He would be rather close to this other dog and its owner now that Titus was introducing himself. "Right, sooooo, yours too is a male, correct?" He was never sure. While he did always try to sneak a peak of the unknown dogs' undersides to see whether they were a possible threat or not, Frog was definitely not gonna push his head down into them just to see for sure.

| ''Sure, I'd love to. I bet it would be an interesting sight to behold.'' Noah would smirk thinly at the idea. It wouldn't be all that hard to imagine such a dog literally dragging a person through the dirt when excited enough about something. Both entertaining in a sense and possibly dangerous. That's the risk which comes with the job of taking care of such a large animal though. If you weren't willing to undergo that, why even get yourself a large dog, right? Those were certainly harder to deal with when they decided not to listen.
Loki would stay where he was, simply turning his head over his shoulder as he watched the bigger one get close. Though, the dane would most likely manage to get a slight smack from his medium length tail in the face while doing his thing.''Yeah, he is. Think that's gonna be a problem or just curious...?'' You never know. Some dogs could get pretty territorial and the like, and while he haven't had that issue happen yet, there's always a first? Then again, if something were to happen, it probably would have already. So far so good?

| W-what was that supposed to mean..? The look the guy gave told Frog everything. "Eheheh... You can't really... I mean, don't start doing stuff to cause it!!!" He didn't shout, but the whole surprise factor got the best of him and he's lost his waryness in front of a peer for a moment, forgetting the manners he usually displayed when around unknown people his age. They all seemed to judge. Ugh, stupid...
Titus sniffed at the wolfdog's behind. *sniff sniff* Yes, yes. He nodded to himself. The name's Loki, hmmm, 0.7 m, 45 kg... Gave off the very distinct scent of cool Titus couldn't compare to. Yes, this one would make a good buddy, if... a bit not up for playing a lot... Bummer... Titus barely felt Loki's tail against his snout. He was much too thick for that, both physically and mentally. He was, however, intent on getting to know this dog better. But first... Titus started wagging his tail and jumping around Loki, playfully keeping his snout low as he gasped in the warmth of the setting sun. This situation got Frog all over the place. "A-aaah, Titus!" He tried to keep him still, but the dog was in his element. "R-right, it ain't a problem, like you can see-oi, Titus!"

| Did he seem like he'd do that? Okay, the idea was mildly tempting, but Noah had no real interest in provoking dogs to go out of control. That was a bad idea in and on itself, and he didn't feel like taking the chance to end up with a bunch of problems on his plate. ''Naaah, I'm not in the mood for that. Besides, I wouldn't even know what I need to do to make that happen in the first place.'' That was an unfortunate fact, but maybe he wouldn't even manage to do that. Dogs came in many shapes, so it wasn't possible to straight out tell what worked on each and every one.
Loki would look at the other for a few brief moments, swishing his tail a bit before lowering his head slightly with a faint growl. He wasn't being hostile or anything, but at the very least he was acknowledging the dane for now. He didn't really move from his spot though. Perhaps he understood nothing more would happen while the big one was stuck on his leash? ''Sure looks like it.'' Noah would scratch the back of his neck as he watched the situation. ''He seems pretty energetic either way.'' But, as long as it stayed at that, it was fine, right?

| "N-nyuuuh..." Frog observed the other's dog cautiously when he heard it growl. Like hell was it well-bred! You couldn't trust any dog. They all look all pretty and cutesy at the start, but when they see Titus, they all go into defensive, then from defensive into offensive and then Titus goes defensive and only then does all hell break loose. All hell.
Titus was unfazed by the growl. He knew it wasn't hostile. It was a growl. All dogs growled! Made him wonder what his master was getting so worked up over? Hey master, he wanted to say, everything's fine! Please don't pull my leash... I wanna get to play with Loki a bit more, even if he doesn't wanna!!! *tail wag x 20*
Frog didn't like this. Titus wasn't acting up, yet, but he'd been in enough situations like this to solidify his determination to always stay on the tip of his toes when it came to dogs. So he turned to the other guy. "Yeah... We're gonna go right about now. We still gotta walk around a bit and all that stuff, so... See ya?" Probably not, unless fate was kind enough to intertwine their dog-walking paths again.
With that, Frog pulled Titus to his side, using all the force he could muster and began walking away, followed by the great dane's pleading eyes. "...buf..."
"S-shush, Titus! You've got other friends! Besides, maybe we'll see this one again, who knows!?" Second time's the charm, everyone knew that!
