| The sun was out and the sky was blue as a nice breeze floated through the area carrying on it the scent of nature and peace. The birds sang, the insects hummed, and the trees swayed to the music of the babbling river. Not too far off the distance roar of a waterfall could be heard. In a word, the day was perfect. This place perfect. It would be hard to believe that just two years ago events had ran through this place that threatened to erase this patch of peace from the world. Two years… Much had changed around the islands and yet this one spot seemed to remain tranquil despite it all. Perhaps it was the tranquility in the area that caused the being that came there to stay or maybe being outside simply had too many distractions to make it go away. Whatever the case was, the being that called itself Oki had come to the island early in the morning starting somewhere in the lower regions before weaving its way deeper and deeper into the island until finally it had arrived at the falls. At first the creature seemed to be enjoying itself, picking flowers, or chasing butterflies it saw; however, around noon the being would find that its body was becoming tired and so it sought out a more secluded area to rest. It would move through the trees finding a small grove that looked out to the stream that passed through the area. A few miles upriver was the roaring falls and the deep pool it poured into. Perhaps after a rest, the being would go fishing or swimming. It would perform any activity to keep its mind away from falling into darker thoughts today. However, for now the creature would worry about finding a comfortable spot within the trees to rest. Green eyes would scan the tops of the branches before settling on a nice spot above. Content with what it found, the creature would push off from the ground before climbing the tree not really caring at the moment that when it went up, its hat fell off. It didn’t expect anyone to come to steal it, so it left it resting in its spot at the base of the tree. The creature would climb up to the spot it saw and after testing it, Oki would take off its jacket and fold it into a makeshift pillow that it would settle in the natural bed of branches. Being careful, the being would climb into that nest and settle, resting its head on the pillow it had created. Once settled, green eyes would look up at the shifting foliage above it, watching as green and blue played as the wind brushed against its bare arms and tugged at the white undershirt it wore. It was nice being out of that stuffy jacket and hat. Perhaps, this was a sign it should invest in some different clothing, but it had to wonder…what could hide the current condition of its body without drawing questioning eyes. Hmm…. The being would ponder the issue of clothing as it continued to relax in its spot. _____________________________________ - Information:
Oki's Location: Resting in a natural nest of branches that weave together in such a way that it creates a nest of sorts. From the ground, the nest can be spotted; however, unless someone is looking for the being, Oki blends in well. The only evidence that Oki is in the area is the hat at the base of the tree. Mood: Neutral/Good

| As Oki laid amongst the tree branches, a slight rustling would be heard, and soon a body would have taken a step on the branches, coming from outside Oki's perspective, before sitting near them, balancing expertly on the branches. A closer look revealed that this man looked ripe with age, and oddly well-dressed for a day of climbing trees. The elder looked strangely at the quiet being. "You seem lost in thought. Something bothering you Oki?" he spoke in a friendly voice, though sprinkled through it were bits of intrigue, like he was looking at a new specimen. He looked ahead at the branches to ponder something before back at them. | |

| The one thing Lunapa was good for. Usually being able to avoid people way more easily than on any other islands, which suited him quite well. Besides, he liked nature anyway, thus it was a two in one.Except for the fact that it was pretty much the same most of the time, sans little changes in vegetation and it could get repetitive. Or maybe he just liked pondering over pointless matters. If he wanted a change in layout all the time, there would be no use in living somewhere for an extended period of time.
Regardless, he was currently wandering around somewhat randomly, not really caring as much despite the fact that his thoughts were all over the place. But it was impossible to not think of anything, really. He probably wouldn't even have stopped anytime soon, if he didn't happen to catch some sort of movement in a nearby tree out of the corner of his eye. ''..?'' He probably shouldn't be getting distracted this easily, but what can you do? Perhaps he ought to stop pacing around anyway. Shrugging to himself, he would walk over to the tree, sitting down against its trunk, tilting his head upwards to look at whatever he saw before. Still, even though he could see fairly well, it's not like he would recognize the two up there. Oki looked way different from before, so it wouldn't be that easy. At any rate, he made no move to interrupt them for now, content with just watching what he could see. Unless he was noticed and the duo wanted something with him.

| The being would continue to be lost in thought as its other senses told it what was happening around it. For the most part, the place remained undisturbed and quiet, the soothing sound and nice weather enough to make the creature feel sleepy and debate about a nap instead of clothing. Slowly, the creature would relax even more in its spot, its mind falling into a light trance as it began to stop thinking and head towards sleep. Maybe the being might’ve fallen completely under the spell of the relaxing area; however, it was around this time that an odd thing decided to happen. While it was true Oki did hear the rustling of leaves, the being didn’t see the sound as threatening. After all, things did live in the tree such as birds and other tree critters like squirrels. So the sound itself didn’t set off any bells. Even when the new arrival settled next to the creature and spoke, the being was at first not concerned at all. “Mmm…clothing shops…” the being began to respond, but then paused as it blinked. Wait...Why was there a voice in the tree with it? Oki would move its head a bit to look over in the direction of the voice. For a moment, green eyes would take in the form of the older man next to it without any emotion, but then as reality caught up with the mind, the blank expression became startled one as the being instinctively attempted to get away from whoever this was. It was a natural response to those that manage to catch it off guard like this older man did. And unfortunately said movement would disturb the delicate balance of the branches underneath the being. With a groan and snap, a hole would form right under the being as the bottom of the bed broke. In a rain of leaves and branches the being would fall towards the ground some feet below. The height was enough to harm a normal person; however, Oki was anything, but normal. In the few precious seconds it had before making contact with the earth, the being would twist itself around gracefully so that when it landed it caught itself on all fours, its body bending to release the energy from the impact into the earth, the action mimicking a cat. However, now that it was on the ground once more, a second dash of oddness decided to make itself known. Unlike the gent in the tree this new oddness started with a scent so to speak. A strange pull in the normal energy of the land that twisted and lashed about chaotic. The pull of a shadow, an energy trace that very few could pick-up, but one that the being was quite familiar with considering what it was now a days. The scent caused it to freeze in its lowered position before slowly, the head of messy black hair would rise allowing a pair of bright green eyes to lock upon the being under the tree. The being that was not human and therefore a potential threat. “….”A barely audioable growl would come from the being that remained crouched like a wild animal within the grass as its mind whirled about in utter chaos. It felt threatened and yet something inside of it told it not to lash out just yet. No it needed to calm down to refocus, but how to do that when it had something that reeked of shadows on the ground and an creepy old guy in the trees? What to do? What to do? - Information:
Oki has been startled by the odd old man. While this might’ve caused only a bit of fuss from the creature under normal circumstances, the presence of another shadow in the area has broken the delicate balance of the being’s mind, leaving it pinned between its instinct as a shadow and its logic. Currently, it is trying to regain itself, leaving the being very unpredictable and potentially dangerous. One wrong move will cause it to attack unless it is calmed.
Old Man: Oki finds him odd, but at the moment not a big threat.
Sharaku: It does not recognize him. It only sees him as threat much bigger than the old man for the moment.

| The elder looked curiously at them. "Are you well? I did not come here to bother you. I came to say hello, since you were well by yourself." He said, adjusting himself before jumping off himself, landing smoothly on the ground. For a man that looked so old, he seemed rather fit. Either way, he lost no breath as he looked at them strangely. "I wanted to speak to you, and see how you were faring. It probably unsettled you for me to approach out of the blue. Apologies, but I imagine if you start a ruckus, neither of us will be happy no?" he said. He would completely ignore Sharaku's presence, though he was aware of him. Right now he was focused on Oki themselves and what they had become. They appeared to be near feral, which is not a term made lightly on human beings. What were they afraid of? | |

| ...Huh?
The sound of wood snapping was never a good sign, and definitely even more so when you were underneath one. Sharaku would blink in confusion as some leaves fluttered down rather close by, soon followed by a person. O..kay? He wasn't specifically bothered by this, as it wasn't the most unusual scenario under the sun, but he was at the very least confused to an extent. Something was...off here, albeit he couldn't really discern what just yet. One, the person that fell down mere moments ago was giving him looks and growling at him - yes, he could hear that. Two, an older looking guy just jumped downwards as well right after. Rather effortlessly from what he could assess. Just what was even...?
A few blinks later, he would opt to simply shrug it off and go along. Looking back at Oki, he would raise an eyebrow briefly in question, but do nothing else, as he kept sitting there leaning against the tree, watching. It would appear he did not even consider Oki as a possible threat despite its current position, staying quite lax as he observed the situation. Perhaps he would understand by listening, before he'd decide to possible contribute to this convo somehow. Unless Oki chose to attack him, that is. In which case, he would defend himself. Besides, the older guy seemed to have something going with Oki here, and he did not feel the need to interrupt just yet, even though he had no intention of leaving either.

| The question that had been asked while the old man and Oki had been in the tree was left unanswered thanks to the unexpected tumble and presence of another shadow type in the area. The ordeal had rattled the being’s mental frame and shifted its mindset to one more beast like than human. The being remained tensed and unsettled for a moment longer, its body shivering slightly from the restraint it was using to not attack on impulse. Even if it could tell the one under the tree was a shadow in some fashion, there was something about the calmness the other gave off that slowly made the hostility towards him lower. As for that creepy old man….well he most certainly didn’t stop being creepy. Green eyes would move towards him as he jumped out of the tree with the grace and elegance of a young man rather than a man of the age that his body seemed to show. Nothing lined up that made sense for him. Yes, it was true the elderly could perform some amazing things provided they kept themselves in good health, but to appear out of no where and do what this guy was doing? Nuh-uh. Something was wrong with that…and yet it was that something that was wrong that made him so intriguing to the more logical part of Oki; however, the curiosity would not show currently as green eyes narrowed at the man. The human side of Oki understood him quiet well and agreed, but the beast side didn’t want to hear. It would take a full minute for the being’s head to droop slightly and the body that was so tense before to relax. While the creature remained in its odd crouched position, it would speak its voice a bit worn. “Oki not well, but then again Oki never well,” the being would begin in bland tones before shaking its head with a cold chuckle. The irony of the statement that was said, was that it was all true. In any case, after the strange action occurred, the mood around the creature would seem to shift as it looked up at the old man with a light tilt of its head, its green eyes were alert and now brimming with curiosity rather than hostility. “Oki wonders…are you real?” the being would shift its head to the other side before unexpectedly crawling across the ground in an odd fashion that could be considered creepy by some and just plain odd to the other. However, the creature didn’t seem to care about the oddness as it came to a stop near the old man’s feet. Hesitating only slightly, the creature would reach out with one hand to touch the pant leg. If the man allowed it, he would only feel a light tug before the creature was scuttling backwards to sit. “Hrmm…well…you seem real, but if this is so then how do you know Oki’s name? And what do you want with us? Who are you, hm?” the being would ask as it watched the old man curiously for few moments. Then becoming distracted by the other male, the creature would roll across across the ground until it ended up on its back next to the other. Not seeming to care about the grass on itself or the fact it was now in the other's personal space bubble, it would look up at the strange face taking in the odd skin tone and those strange, strange, strange eyes. Now that it was up closer to the guy, it found that despite the change in looks there was something very familiar about the face, but what it couldn't quite say. Regardless, it would speak out once more. “Oki be confued, old man. See, you do and know things you shouldn’t and this one,” the being would blink and then refocused on those golden eyes. “This one seems like a person Oki knew long ago and if Oki is correct in the assumption, then Oki must truly be broken today. Oki cannot imagine anything, but figments playing games like this one with us and yet it now seems reality wishes to join in the fun." The creature would finish, its voice holding an air of amusement more so than anything else as it considered the guy next to itself and the old man in the area. What was going on? And why was Fate being unusually twisted with her humor today? _________________________________________________________________ - Information Box:
Mood: More or less normal now that it has calmed down. It is amused and preplexed by the oddness of the situation it is in, but at least it won't attack.

| The elder frowned slightly at Oki's response. They talked as though they were disconnected with society. They didn't back away when Oki inspected him, though they were not expecting something like this. "Naturally I am real. In fact, I am as real as any of the friends you may have. I came cause I had seen you before and wanted to check in on you. If you knew me directly, I'd be impressed. However, I do know you. I know that you were rather intelligent the last I saw you. I can help you if you wish to regain some of your old self; you seem still despite your nature distraught." He seemed to talk patiently for them, though inside he could tell that this one was still on the more feral side. Perhaps he came at a bad time... | |

| ''.....'' Sharaku was starting to have enough. This had been mildly interesting at the beginning, but he was really starting to get into a bad mood now. He certainly did not like this. At all. And even though the words said and whatnot confirmed that Oki was someone he knew despite the slightly odd looks - not even going to address the weird behavior right now, he was far from happy in any way. Maybe he should put up a sign saying 'I'm right here and I can hear you'. Because Oki talking about him like he was some possibly familiar item, in a way that sounded like he wasn't even really there in the first place, or was just something to describe was honestly offputting - seeing as there was no bother to actually speak to him personally or anything.
To top it off, the weirdo old man was completely ignoring his entire existence, not even acknowledging him based on Oki's words. Frankly, by this point he was in a rather chilly, upset mood, if there even was an accurate way to describe it. For a moment, he actually had the urge to just shove Oki away and walk off. He could certainly be moody in some situations, and two people being rather disrespectful at the same time was starting to push it. He did not want to deal with this. Although, unlike Oki, he was not one to act like some animal and almost attack people despite the fact that he was kind of the same as the other when it came to their relation with their Shadows. He wouldn't even say anything, or act at all. He was simply in a majorly upset mood. Still, he would cross his arms over his chest, looking off to the side, choosing to pretty much ignore Oki right now, because he did not exactly have anything nice to say after everything that transpired up till now.

| Oki would sit for a moment as it considered the odd man after examining him and determining more or less that he was real. It was true its mind was in no logical state, but then again after two years of isolation and pretty much being broken by previous events, the being was still trying to regain a grip on what was real and what was not. As for its more animalistic behavior, it had simply learned to survive on instincts rather than logic action for the time it had been away from its home. It's shadow did not make matters any better for the latter. In a nutshell, it was bad cases all the way around, but ones the being did not quite understand was wrong in society’s eyes. A fact that was only proven more true when the creature rolled over to the other under the tree. When it had spoken, the one sitting under the tree gave off such a negative air in response that Oki’s curiosity about him dried up as a frown came across its face as a small hint of color came to its pale tattooed cheeks. It was anger... “Hmph! We see.” would be cold response it gave the other who had turned away. If this figment, person, thing, whatever it was didn’t want to be bothered then why on earth had it come here to begin with? Tch! Such disrespectful behavior and for what? All it had done was come to see what he was? Was that so wrong? Well then. The being would blink before rolling to its feet and dusting itself off. It would give one last cold glance at the guy under the tree before it moved away deciding to ignore the guy just as he had ignored it. It had tried to engage the other in its own way; however, the response was less than pleasant and as result, the outlook on the strang guy was negative for the Oki. Green eyes would shift away from the guy under the tree as Oki headed back to old man deciding to sit not too far away from him as it considered his earlier words, the anger from earlier vanishing as it focused on the less negative of the two odd balls. “Not sure how we like being spied upon; however,” the creature would pause as it reached up to scratch the back of its head in thought. “You do pose an interesting offer to Oki, but what reason should we believe you can help with Oki’s state of being?” the creature would ask the other deciding to focus solely on the old man as long as the other strange man decided to remain rude and what not. _____________________________________________________________________________ - Information:
Sharaku: It doesn’t understand what it did wrong, but is not going to take such behavior from something it tried to figure out. Due to the reaction it looks like some work needs to be done to undo the misunderstanding between the pair.
Old Man: It still doesn’t know what to think of him, but he poses enough oddness to keep the creature curious as to what he wants.

| The elder man smiled. "Let's say I have a gift for giving this kind of clarity," he said, before turning to Sharaku with a curious face. "Not a nice gesture to make now. You are welcome to enjoy this discourse; there's no need for petty conflict after all. I must say your friend is quite the interesting person. They always intrigued me." He said looking to Sharaku. "Tell me, how has your life been so far?" | |

| Sharaku would visibly flinch at the kind of attitude Oki adopted all of a sudden. He didn't really need to look back at the other to assess the situation well enough. The tone of voice and words were enough for him to tell quite accurately, and he had already picked up that the other probably had some 'anger' management issue based on how it had tried to growl him off not so long ago. Knowing that didn't change how he felt though. ''I'd love to know just what do you think you see...'', he would mutter under his breath, his tone barely audible, and not really clear enough for the other to understand despite still being close at this point. There were a lot of things he could say to this, but he didn't really have the will to actually complain at this point. Maybe if it went a bit differently. But Oki just proved that it was too impatient to even try making any sense of this anyway. Even if he did not have reasons for doing this, he never had an obligation to act chippery and interested to begin with? All he did was turn away a bit, and someone gets pissy. Way to treat someone you claim to find familiar. Not so interesting when they don't play along the way you want, eh? Well, he certainly did not care for being seen as some sort of plaything to figure out. Not like this.
''.....'' He was visibly upset by this point. This was crap. And it hurt. There was little he could do about it. Just when did he start getting broken down this easily? That was anyone's guess. Not like this kind of thing hasn't happened before, but it used to take much more for him to crack apart. In the end, it was his own fault. As they say, don't play with fire or it'll burn you. He had always been decent at playing pretend when he felt like he needed to, but pushing away problems only amplifies them, doesn't it? He wanted to hate this, but he knew it wouldn't change anything. The worst part? He wasn't even really mad at Oki, or anyone for that matter, despite the fact that they could definitely be handling this better as well. Maybe except himself. But that was not new. Right now, he was just feeling really bad. He was even shaking slightly.
Had the old man not addressed him this time around, he would most likely have scuttered away before he completely lost it, but he was honestly not trying to be rude, which he wouldn't prove by running away when he was spoken to. He wouldn't deny he did not really want to converse with this guy though. Something just felt too wrong about him, and it was hard to chew past that. Not even trying logic would be of help, because that would bring red flags as well. 'Clarity', like hell. He did not trust this weird man. The only thing he would agree with here was the fact about conflicts, because he did not enjoy them in all honesty. How did Oki not find this too odd was beyond him. This guy wanted something. He was being too much of a 'sweet talk', and that was not what a stranger did for no reason. Plus, he was implying that he did somehow watch Oki without the being knowing of it prior to now. That is not okay, so the man ought to not tell him what is a 'nice' gesture to do, like he ate all the kindness of the world or something. And really, all the words in general were just a poorly chosen approach in light of this situation. 'Enjoy'. Did he look like he wanted to enjoy this? Or for that matter, need someone to tell him he was welcome to do so? And he would love to hear a good reason as to why did the guy think he would be interested in hearing how Oki was such an 'interesting' friend when this was happening? Erm, no, not really. Perhaps he was just in an extremely touchy mood right now. Or maybe not. Who knew. But he'd say this guy was full of crap for some reason. It was just a feeling. The fact that he had shown an unnatural amount of agility for an old person only reinforced the point that he was not even normal. Sharaku wouldn't be convinced of 'niceties' as easily as that, when there were so many suspicious holes everywhere.
''W-hat makes you think..you e-ven understand..what I want..? A-nd I'm pretty sure...my life is n-one of your concern...'' Or put more simply 'I don't care to even trust someone like you'. Regardless, his voice was rather shaky, and he wouldn't turn back to look at the two. Still, he sounded like he was about to cry if any of the two were smart enough to tell. Frankly, he just wanted to bolt right now, but thanks to the old guy deciding to give him a piece of mind at a rather inconvenient time, and his own foolishness - aka, not wanting to seem even more rude than they probably though of him by now, he was stuck here.

| Emotions were a strange thing, even stranger when things within weren’t working correctly in the first place. For example, the man under the tree seemed overly sensitive while the being next to him changed like the waves in the sea. The two had a brief clash because of a wrong move on the man’s part and to be honest the mutter didn’t make anything better. Sure, Oki didn’t understand exactly what he said, but it could tell from tone alone that it probably wasn’t nice….and this in turn made it become even more closed off towards the other as for two seconds it had the urge to snap at the guy for simply being rude. However, just as quickly as the urge came it faded as the being heart became like ice once more. “Saigo ni, sore wa tsuneni... Muimidearu to onajiyōni... Muimideshita...” that was the soft monotone and depressed sounding words the being said in response to the mutter. The words were probably only heard by the man it was near thanks to how quietly they were spoken; however, whether the words were directed at the man, the situation, or something else was questionable and a mystery that would not be solved as the being decided to roll away and instead focus on the old man and his strange offer. As it watched the older and heard the words spoken, the creature would become quiet for a moment before closing its eyes to think. This guy…what was he? The mystery was enough for the creature to want to know more. “Heh. Is that so?” Oki said after a moment as its green eyes opened and settled on the man as a smirk crept across its face. “I wonder what sort of clarity you can offer us these days. It is very tempting to take the offer we must admit; however, you still have not convinced Oki of taking the offer fully. More work needs to be done for that; however, you are welcome to try to convince Oki if you like. We don’t mind such things, Mr…?” the being trailed off as it kept eyes devoid of emotion locked on the old man for a moment. It was being plain and honest with the other. It truly was curious about what the man offered and so was willing to take a step forward to see what could be found; however, the oddness of the man and his spying did not make the creature so trusting of him. The man was much too odd to simply trust blindly…He would have to work to gain that precious gem called trust from the being, but at least for now the being had left the table open for future meetings or discussions. In any case, how the man took that answer was yet to be seen and would soon be the last thing on the being’s mind as the old man decided to actually address the other under the tree. As he spoke the creature would just listen as it took a somewhat neutral air towards the other. At first it wasn’t going to do anything to add onto what was happening, but the guy’s reaction and voice shook it out of its neutral stance as it blinked a bit. Grabbing its folded legs in its hands, it would tilt back to look at the guy that had seemed to have snapped. What was with this one? Why did the being feel something tug at its icy heart every time it looked at him and why did the pain it could hear in his voice make it want to care for a brief second? Who was this odd guy…and what did the old man mean by calling Oki a friend of this one? Surely, Oki had not met this one before….had it? ______________________________ - Mood Box:
Sharaku: Oki is very confused. Due to looks and such not matching the old Sharaku, it is having trouble pinpointing who he is fully...and yet it still feels connected to him in a way. How very confusing.
Old Man: Well, Oki is curious to see what you have to offer and is neutral towards him.

| The Elder Man smiled gently to the two of them. "Not sure why you are so upset. Calm yourself and allow yourself to live a little. We aren't here to offend you. You could be someone that could join us. For you see, I can prove that what I say is the truth. I am obviously more than what I seem," he said. As if to confirm this, he held a hand up in the air, and soon, his hair would grow whiter, and he would begin to float right back up to the tree branch, pointing directly up to the green star that shone brilliantly in the day sky. Such a strange phenomena that has been around for a long time. It almost seemed as though the star itself was shaking...
The elderly man smiled, before it dropped to reveal something that looked almost like slight distress on his face. "Hm.....I think that you should come with me. It seems that something is going to happen. My friend," he looked at Sharaku. "I would be wary about what is going to happen next." The air just above him began to swirl to the vision of the two, like something was being changed above him, while his body began to look almost transparent. Was he beginning to vanish? He looked up and nodded in confirmation. It was almost time, though he had perhaps failed to catch the two's attention.

| Alright. Enough of this. As bad as he was feeling, he was starting to become more irritated as time went. He wasn't extremely stable when it came to intense emotions once they happened, and the behavior of the other two was simply frustrating him by this point. Well, he could always deal with the main issue later. He knew what to do there, and since the current situation required him to deal with something else, he would. Albeit he wasn't going to do it in a happy mood. ''Of course it's pointless. It would when you give up on it all so easily, just because you aren't getting what you want or expect right away. You should perhaps think about it.'', he'd throw back at Oki, not really bothering to speak back in japanese as well. The other would understand this too.
As for the old guy...his opinion hasn't changed all too much. He wasn't the one to buy that kind of sweet talk, and it's not like the man even answered what Oki asked properly. He didn't need to be told the guy isn't normal. He knew that already. It had been obvious. This is what was irritating him, mostly. Don't keep saying vague stuff and claiming you can prove it. If you can do so, then do it, not talk into the air and hope people will swallow the bite with the hook based on that. Seeing as it was obvious the guy isn't normal, the little float show said nothing seriously new. That wasn't really any proof of anything. He would snort lightly, finally looking towards the scenery fully, his expression one of slight distress and mild annoyance. ''Then why do you keep dancing around? You say you have proof, but you haven't given any so far. And the fact you aren't normal has been obvious from the start. But being abnormal doesn't immediately mean you are a good person. You could always just be trying to trick people into something. How is anyone supposed to know when all you do is give vague sweet talk? I'm more wary about the fact that you're more concerned about getting allies than explaining what is going to happen. I'd say any immediate danger or issue is more important when it concerns anything supernatural.'' He seemed to be getting a bit snarky, although his tone betrayed none of that. He simply wanted to know. If there is anything to be wary about, it's suspicious individuals. Then suspicious happenings following them.
Also, why make it more complicated? 'Come with me'. Was there a need to make people climb trees just for that? Not that he couldn't get up there if he wished so, but it was just an unnecessary add on in his opinion. ''So, how do we know going with you is a better option than staying here for whatever is meant to happen?'', he'd ask, looking up at the guy. He wanted something concrete before coming to a conclusion. At least once damn thing to go on from. Not just empty talk. Of course, he took note of the transparency thing. But really, the old guy had plenty time to be more detailed up till now, so it wasn't his problem that he was forced to keep asking even now, because he knew next to nothing anyway.
