| After Danielle had filled him in on their plans for that night, Cyrus rushed out his article and rinsed up as thoroughly as he could. When he was done he realized he had a lot more free time than he initially thought he would have, so he decided to spend them resting to fix the grave mistake of having nearly no sleep in six days. But there was one thing... one thing bothering him, one thing nagging at the back of the grey matter inside his skull, one thing standing between him and sweet sweet sleep:
He still didn't know jack shit.
Cyrus groaned and stared at the ceiling. He didn't look nearly as horrendous as he did earlier that day anymore, but he was still tired as all hell.
"I should just ignore it and go to sleep, I have plenty of time until 7 PM."He thought to himself, but soon found out that it's not easy to just ignore a nagging feeling.
He thought about how the other people who were present that day might've found out a bit more about their Personae... he'd have to ask them later. Especially those two ladies, the energetic one and the apathetic one, Cyrus had a suspicion that they knew more than they were letting out on.

| The feeling of an attendant leaving the Velvet Room is hard to describe, really. It's as if when fate plucks them out of their sacred home, reality seems to melt away. Colors blend, darken, brighten. Sight, sound, and scent become equally overpowering and nonexistent. The sensation is peculiar, to say the least, and as Gemini found themselves transported out of the Velvet Room by fate, they hadn't expected to be plunged into a tight, dark place.
"Uh, where are we?" "Heavens if I know... I am you, you know. That question isn't relevant." "Us talking to each other isn't relevant! We still do it though! Now! There's a door... I think..." the two said muffled, obviously coming from behind Cyrus's closet door. It seemed Gemini would find themselves in another odd situation... Oh, the situations they found themselves in.

| Cyrus was so close to falling asleep he could almost taste it except he couldn't, because you can't taste things when you're asleep. But as his luck would have it, his pseudo-sleep was once again aborted by the sound of rattling inside of his bedroom wardrobe.
Sighing heavily, Cyrus stood up from his bed and headed towards the closet two meters from his bedside and opened it. What he saw, he was not expecting.
Out from his closet stumbled the two ladies from earlier, wearing maid outfits. Upon closer inspection he saw that they both boasted feline ears and long furry tails, he would've originally thought they were decorations, but then he saw them twitch. Additionally, he saw that their upper lips had a slight partition in the middle. Were they... catgirls?
Cyrus squatted down to meet the two fallen catgirls eye to eye.
"Can I help you?"

| From sudden darkness to a burst of less darkness depending on the current state of the room was what the attendant saw before they fell out of the wardrobe. So that was what it was... Though, what caused them to fall? 'War' hadn't even opened the door yet. The two would look up at the man with a blink of each of their eyes. Oh, it was him. This was a surprise, to say the least. Though, it was obvious the two were completely normal looking girls in regards to being any sort of feline-isk human. The accessories were there, but they were obviously fake... Outside of that, the oddest thing about them was that they were identical and wearing famed maid outfits... Still quite odd, but not nearly as odd.
'War' would jump up after a second, spinning and bowing to the young man. 'Peace' would slowly stand and do a much less extravagant bow, though, one that held much more respect. The two would soon straighten themselves, 'War' posing against her sister whom only smiled with a bit of amusement.
"Hello person who possesses the power of persona!" "We have been sent here to aid you any way you seem fit... As long as it's reasonable, mind." "Yah! No dirty business!" "Aside from that... Sorry for the sudden intrusion..." it was true they sort of came crashing out of his closet... Fate wasn't usually this direct unless they were meant to meet someone passing by the house... But the fact the suicidal boy from the starting event was here made them focus more so on him than anything else.
"Ah ah! Before we forget our manners!" "You can call me 'Peace.'" "And you can call me 'War!'" "Together we're Gemini." the twins said in unison. They would smile politely once more, though, they fully expected the suicidal boy to go on a rant on why they shouldn't be in his house. It was just time to wait, they supposed.

| As soon as the two ladies straightened themselves Cyrus saw the self proclaimed "Peace"'s ears tilt back a little from the motion of her standing up. So they WERE accessories, this just goes to show that Cyrus was in severe need of rest.
"D...dirty business? The hell do you mean by that? I'm no pervert, thank you very much!" Actually, Cyrus was what he liked to call "a pervert with standards" but he wasn't about to tell them that.
"Ah ah! Before we forget our manners!" "You can call me 'Peace.'" "And you can call me 'War!'" "Together we're Gemini."
Cyrus looked the duo up and down, they weren't the weirdest he'd ever encountered. Under any other circumstance, Cyrus would be chastising the two for intruding in his house, but from what they said he inferred that they knew or were affiliated in some way to the Personae. This peaked his interest.
"Cyrus, Cyrus Abaddon" He simply replied. "Come to think of it, weren't you two there when that giant machine attacked and broke the barrier? And now you just waltz in talking about Persona like it's no big deal."
Cyrus considered his options and concluded that this was the closest he was probably ever going to get to getting some real answers in the next few weeks, months maybe. He told Gemini to wait in his room for a second as he went downstairs, and two minutes later he came back with a plate of crackers, two glasses and a carton of orange juice. He prided himself in his courteousness.
"Anyway" Cyrus sat down at the edge of his bed, all grogginess having faded away. "Please, if you know something about what's happening or how Personae work, I need to know."

| Did they offend him? Well, if so, it wasn't their intention to do so! It'd be very rude of them to lower the self esteem of a potential guest, after all. Regardless, the two would tilt their heads gently to the side. Regardless of that, it was always important to make sure one didn't over cross any boundaries after all! This may be a sensitive subject for the suicidal boy!
"Ah! Cyrus was your name! A pleasure to meet you!" "Yes, we were at the event that took place at the festival... As for persona..." "We're kind of sort of experts on the topic." "Yes, and fate has asked us to aid you in your understanding of the power you now posses." the two said before the boy left for the lower floor. Was he in a slump over what to do? Was he going to have another mental breakdown and possibly commit suicide? Well, those were the worst case scenarios... He could simply be using the restroom. It wouldn't do to need to go during such an important talk after all!
Regardless, the two would examine the wardrobe as they waited, 'War' squinting at it suspiciously. How did they fit in it? Was it like that book they read on that one planet? What was it called... Naniran? Something like that... But the wardrobe was something special! It was hard to imagine this wardrobe was anything special... After all, it didn't seem to made out of any sort of special wood. Though, the two would turn their attention towards Cyrus as he re-entered the room, giving him their full attention.
"Well, to start, we're about as clueless as you about the current circumstances." "We're observers when it comes to events such as these. We can give a hypothesis of what we think may happen, but it will most likely prove flawed." "Mhm... These events tend to be specially catered to the world they happen within. So we can't help you there much..." "However, we're experts on persona. If you have a question for us concerning them and the power you posses, please ask it without hesitation!" the two said with a nod of their heads, going to stand for the time being. Sitting would be nice, but standing actually made one more fit. A weird study they did...

| "We're kind of sort of experts on the topic."
Cyrus jumped in joy internally as soon as he heard that, but he also mentally face palmed. If he'd just waited, he could've gotten all the answers he needed without the soul-rending wasted effort!
"You have no idea how glad I am to hear that." He gleefully said as he bit into a cracker "Because THIS guy-" he held the gun replica previously strapped to his waist in reverse against his forehead and pulled the trigger, summoning his Persona. "-won't cooperate."
"Alright. I know how he's an embodiment of my psyche and all that, he's already told me. But what I DON'T get is this: How is it possible that a physical, material and corporeal being can be created from an abstract, non-material concept such as an identity? That pretty much breaks my mind."
"Second of all: How exactly do his abilities work? I tried out the "Hama" ability, but it just seemed to have a mind of its own, it only works when it feels like it. And on that note, how come I automatically know its name?"
"And third of all, how come I have to pretend to shoot myself in the head to summon him?"

| Ah, yes. An evoker. Strange devices that aided in the process of summoning a persona, though, under certain circumstances. They were finical devices that seemed to be more so given to those who didn't have the ability to freely summon their persona. However, how one of the guards had it and why they had it and how Cyrus felt led to grab it was unknown. It was an odd device that neither Gemini completely understood... However, it was possible for one that uses an evoker to learn how to summon a persona without it, so, there was that.
"Oh silly! He's also your mask, don't you know?" "A persona is your everything, not just your identity. He's your deepest darkest secrets and the facade you show to the world." "He's your desires, hopes, insecurities, reluctance, faults, strengths, and the list just goes on and on!" "The god Philemon, the one who we serve under, takes everything about you and awakens your psyche to a persona. He's more than just your identity, Cyus. He's entirely and completely you." the two stated. They had answered the question none the less, though, it was important he knew that his persona was more than just his identity. He may be shocked in the future if he continued this thought process.
"Well, hama and mudo spells are ones that try to instantly destroy enemies." "However, such strong spells have a limit to their accuracy... They have a tendency to miss unless you grow towards the potential of a stronger hama or mudo spell." "And you know its name because your persona knows its name. A persona can cast a variety of spells and their name is no stranger to them." "It's kind that he shared them with you. Most persona tend to never tell their user the names of their spells." "Mhm. Being the exact same thing as their user, they tend not to notice they posses all the real power! Silly things!" the two would say with a light laugh. Persona were truly interesting creatures. They had never controlled ones themselves, outside of the ones within their compendium of course. However, those were just copies of the real thing. Hollow phantoms that held the face of a mask.
"Well, what you have there is an evoker." "How the evoker was found in this world and why it was being carried by a guard is unknown..." "But to be blunt, it simply means you have a harder time calling upon your persona than others." "It seems you require the aid of something physical to awaken your persona, unlike some who can call upon their power with the whim of their thoughts." they said one after the other, 'Peace' extending her hand before flicking it, a tarot card depicting the Justice arcana would appear hovering above it.
"However! With time, you too can summon a persona without the aid of that evoker!" "Practice makes perfection, after all. It takes some time, though... But if you work hard and dedicate yourself..." "You'll surely be able to summon your persona without the aid of that evoker!" the two said with a nod of their heads, 'Peace' retracting her hand back to her lap and the tarot card vanishing from sight. They had answered all the questions to the best of their ability... Now it was time to see what he had to say next.

| "The god Philemon, the one who we serve under, takes everything about you and awakens your psyche to a persona. He's more than just your identity, Cyrus. He's entirely and completely you."
Cyrus ran those words over in his head
"The god Philemon, the one who we serve under, takes everything about you and awakens your psyche to a persona."
"The god Philemon, the one who we serve under..."
"The god Philemon..."
"god"
"Yeah um." Cyrus spout abruptly "We're just gonna have to agree to disagree on that one. I believe the whole psyche incarnate thing-" Even if he'd figure out how it worked himself if they refused to tell him the truth "-But let's try not to bring superstition into this, alright?"
Cyrus then stayed silent through their explanation of how his hama spells worked and how he knew their names.
"So, what you're saying is, it's basically simple chance? Well I suppose there had to be some sort of downside to such a strong power..."
After that, he listened to their explanation of his summoning method.
"Why would a soldier be carrying around a persona-related artifact? Strange indeed. Wait, is the fact that I can't summon my Persona by myself a statement on my personal issues? To be honest, it would only seem fitting... I look forward to being able to summon Darwin unaided."
Cyrus laid back on his bed. He noticed the two persona experts were being sort of... bearing, like he was some sort of customer in their shop. Was this what their normal stance was like? "Well, I would normally have more questions to ask, but the answers you provided me with defenestrated them all, so... Thank you for taking your time to answer, I guess." He said slightly disappointed.
Just at that moment, Cyrus remembered what he had forgotten.
"Oh yeah, Danielle Brooks was going to hold a meeting at 7 PM to talk to all the people who were involved in the events that took place during the Maiden's Celebration. You two should go too, you'll probably be our biggest information asset.

| Hm? Was he not superstitious? Oh, well this was new. The two hadn't been faced with one so closed off from the supernatural... How did he think, in his own words, an abstract concept could be given physical form? Furthermore, how could the two simply summon their compendiums and their persona with nary a thought? Oh, it'd be fun to see if they could convince him other wise.
"Oh, well, alright then. I suppose we can't convince you otherwise." "Yes, take what we say with face value then, until we can somehow prove you otherwise." the two said with a nod of their heads. It'd be rude to push their knowledge onto him. Some of these people simply existed was all... Philemon had hopes for him even through his doubts.
"Yep, pretty much just dumb luck." "They become more reliable if you grow into the potential of stronger ones." the two said simply enough. It wasn't too hard of a concept to grasp. Regardless, the two didn't seem too interested in the food. They weren't hungry at the moment and wouldn't do to over eat!
"Yes... It's a curious mystery." "And yes. In time you may learn how to summon your persona on your own accord." though, the two had never thought that the need to use an evoker was based on one's personality... Though, the fact he admitted a fault of his was admirable, to say the least.
"Oh, of course. We live to serve those with the power of persona, after all!" "Yes. We're here to aid you in any way you see fit for the moment." the two said with a nod of their head. They'd need to find guests soon... It wouldn't do to stay so weak at the moment... These robots were truly formidable foes.
"Ah... Well, we shouldn't go on our own accord..." "We may get in trouble if we go on our own will... Unless someone there signs our compendium, we really shouldn't go..." the two said with a small sigh. It was a bit dangerous to be going out on these outings without having one sign their compendium. Being fussed by Igor wouldn't do, after all.

"Tch. Good luck with that."
"Ah... Well, we shouldn't go on our own accord..." "We may get in trouble if we go on our own will... Unless someone there signs our compendium, we really shouldn't go..."
Cyrus thought about this... if they weren't there, the group could lose a very potential lead to figuring out hat's happening.... maybe...
"Would my signature work?"

| The two would shrug and look up at the ceiling. It wasn't their purpose to convince anyone of anything. They were simply there to inform and teach, outside of that, their attendant duties had been fulfilled. Regardless of this, they'd turn back to Cyrus, a little bit shocked. They hadn't even offered, and yet he was willing to sign their compendium. Well, the two wouldn't say no...
"Ah! Only if you wish to sign it on your own accord!" "Yes, we don't wish to pressure you into this decision." the two would say before standing and looking towards the young man. This wasn't something they had expected, they supposed the regular lecture was in need to exist, though.
"If you sign our compendium, we'll be entitled to aid you any way you see fit." "This includes fallowing you into battle, aiding you in any missions you see fit, and generally being around if you're in need of a friend." "We also have a unique specialty other Velvet Attendants don't have in the form of long ranged communication." "Yes, if you sign our compendium you can summon us to specifically perform this skill." "However we can't fight when separated, so keep this in mind!" "Outside of that... We'd be very grateful if you did so." "Mhm mhm!" the two said, both Gemini summoning forth their compendiums. The two would grab each other's shoulders with their free hand, beginning to spin. Their compendiums would glow brightly before merging into a larger one, floating in the space above the two as they stopped spinning. An ink well and feathered pin would appear in 'Peace's' hand, she'd hold it out to Cyrus.
"It just takes one signature on this blank space, Cyrus." "We'll be indebted to you once you sign." the two said with a nod, small smiles across their faces. If he signed, they would retrieve more than they ever hoped for. Fate had a strange way of working, after all.

| Cyrus looked the Compendium up and down and searched for smallfont (Not that he didn't trust the duo, but he was always wary about signing things. After a few moments of hesitation, and against his better judgement, he signed Attendant Gemini's compendium.
"There, It's done. I signed it, so you better show up tonight, ok? You're valuable information assets and powerful allies, we could seriously use your presence."
Cyrus laid back in his bed and wondered if he'd made a horrible horrible mistake...
"Now please get out of my house. I need to change and then go out."

| As soon as Cyrus signed Gemini's compendium, a strong power would pulse from the compendium. A light blue energy would swirl around the girls and the compendium, a soothing sound akin to a sigh emanating from them. The page would soon change in a flash of light, Darwin, Cyrus's persona, appearing on an island surrounded by a flock of birds. It was beautifully made and as the pahge flashed once more, a Justice tarot card would appear in front of the book. The two would close their compendium, dispelling the blue aura that surrounded them and splitting the compendium back in two. That was a show, to say the least...
"A-Ah... Well, if that's what you wish, guest." "Yes... Call upon us whenever you have need of us." the two said with a small smile pointed at each other. That was one out of six guests... It was an unexpected registration too. Regardless, the two would say their good byes and head towards the door. It was time to head home, after all.~Exiting the scene unless stopped~
