| Danielle, still prepared for anything, and having let go of the others hand the moment she heard the cane hit the floor. She would then hop backwards, just out of range of any sudden grabs and the like... She really didn't wish to hurt Sephtis, regardless of what happened. To many, this might seem foolish, but to her, Sephtis was someone she really didn't want to hurt... Despite her attack on Danielle, she'd keep herself in the mindset that Sephtis wasn't a bad person... Perhaps just... misguided. Not that the girl's past had been doing her any favors when it came to interactions with others... and thus, all the more reason she wished to save Sephtis... save her from becoming something truly evil... Because the capacity was certainly there. "What are you after, exactly?!" She asked her assailant, confused and rattled by this whole situation... Anyone would've been in Danielle's shoes... "Show you what? That I really want to be friends? Those people were wrong... " Perhaps it was just foolish of her, but... Danielle really wanted to see Sephtis find happiness...- Danielle:
