The colony is under attack!!! (Kai's Reactions)

"Come on, let's go!" "Move it man! The Sargent's going to have our necks if we're late!"
"Is it true that the Maidens are having their 20th birthday the day after tomorrow?"

Those voices rang out from the other trainees as the Eirini barracks rang out in familiar voices, even the whole colony was bustling about the news as well. Me, well.... I was busy with morning drills.

I should probably introduce myself to clear any confusion, huh? I'm Kai Togami, another of the many voices in this world. I'm the decently muscular one on the left... No not the pink haired girl, I'm the brown haired guy that's sparing against her.

[color=#ff6600}"It's easy enough to know what their on about, but they should have known a weak earlier."[/color] She said as she tripped me easily after her last strike. Her name is Lou O'Mally, She is actually the favored one out of us trainees. It's because she's pretty, fun to be around, a great fighter, and she takes her orders seriously.

"Yeah, I'm not caught up on politics, but they should have been told of this at least a month in advance." I say as I'm standing up, sorely.

A few hours later while we're eating our lunch, we all get unexpected news, the General had said that all the trainees and low ranking officers were allowed to take a 5 day break from training, starting today!

The mess hall broke out into chaos, with people cheering and jumping up from their tables. The Sargent quickly calmed down all the hubris and said "You get out there, and I don't want to see you in uniform until 5 days from now, or if there's an emergency!"

And that was yesterday's activity's, though all I did after that was relax at home and read. Today, I was walking to the central plaza where the huge wheel was built... Though I was running extremely late because of a few incidences with helping some of the few people that weren't at the celebrations. As I continued to wander, while daydreaming about becoming a treasure hunter, or exploring unknown lands....

But a blue butterfly just kept in the corner of my vision until I looked up and saw the dark clouds that have billowed in and heard the screams along with the sounds of destruction coming from the plaza!

"What's going on!?" I thought as I ran towards the commotion.
