Show off your Skills:What are the Strengths and Weaknesses?:When creating your character you've probably noticed a section for strengths and weaknesses. These are basically there to differentiate yourself from other players that join the site. These strength and weaknesses are for your character themselves, not their Persona. So in other words, these strengths and weaknesses should be rather normal, though we're giving leeway for atleast one to be related to your Persona.
Each character can have a maximum of five strengths, and a minimum of three. Take note, you will have a weakness per strength, so if you have five strengths then you should have five weaknesses aswell.
Combat Strengths:Some strengths could revolve around combat, and that is fine. Mostly they will be interpreted in PvP (Player vs Player) combat, but some may also translate into PvS combat aswell (Player vs Shadow). Below is a basic guide to what these strengths will do for your character during dungeon traversal and PvS combat.
Leadership Strength: Allows the user to bring whoever is working with them, the same amount of distance traveled in a dungeon for a lower word count. Normally you'd need 400 words, but with a leader taking the charge, this is lowered to only 200 words needed to advance the full distance.
Strength Boosting Strength: Strength boosting strengths will add 15% to your Dexterity stat
Speed Boosting Strength: Running speed boosting strengths will allow the user to travel double the amount of distance in dungeons.
Agility Boosting Strength: Agility boosting strengths will add 15% to your luck stat.
Attack Speed Boosting Strength: Attack speed boosting strength will allow you to attack twice with your Soul bound weaponry in PvS conflict in one attack post.
Defense Boosting Strength: Strengths that involve being able to take much more beatings will allow its user to take 15% off physical damage (from soul bound/ physical hits not Personas) received.
Now you're probably thinking "Oh, I'm going to stack up on all these." Well, no, there will be a limit. If you choose a combat strength, you need to make a weakness that is equal in terms. Meaning if you have a combat strength, you need to have a hindering combat weakness aswell.
These are just a few examples. Notice stat boosts only go up to 15%. Be creative though, as you can only have 3 stat boosting strengths. This does not include loose strengths and weaknesses that can be gained through roleplaying. Stat boosts for those will only be 6% max.
**Note, you can NOT have a strength that has all around boosting mechanics. You need to choose one aspect at a time. However, if you have multiple strengths that do the same thing, they do stack.
For example: if Player A had one speed strength and player B had two, then player B would be faster. If they both had one, then they'd be the same speed. This goes for any character class, so even if you're an android and a human has more speed strengths than you, you'll be left in the dust.
Do not overthink this, as these strengths shouldn't be essential. Don't overload your character with them, and leave out important strengths that deal with their personality.
**Most of your power will come from your own Ego, and not these physical strengths. Any questions, please ask in the Q & A board so we may add it to this page.
