It was quiet, the mountains set still, and the temple even more. Devoid of movement, it seemed... barren, only cliffs and occasional platforms strewn about. This was a large area, extremely expansive, and explorers that had found it before estimated it to be a total of one kilometer across, maybe more. With so many mountains all around, it was, to say the least, hard to tell. The temple that sat in the middle of it all, though, wasn't hard to tell from the rest of the landscape. It seemed radiant, white and green, peaceful colors, and now that its inhabitants had let if, it was the perfect place for just a lone explorer to sit by, waiting.

Right in the back of the courtyard, facing the north, a large circular structure sat erected, molded perfectly out of the solid rock. Stairs led up to the top, and in the center of the pattern, smoke rose from a single figure, with another standing behind her, hanging their legs over the edge.

"I didn't expect it to be so peaceful around here. It's am impressive structure, to say the least, but I imagined, say... there'd be more hustle and bustle around it."

The silvernette coughed, finding these new smokes terrible. Jeez, last time she was ever trying those. She dug out a small container from her pocket, opening it then snuffing out the cigarette in it, and closing it inside. You shouldn't make any waste, that's what she learned travelling around the world. The figure standing over the edge had vanished in the meanwhile, as the silvernette moved towards the stairs, slowly and calmly descending them.

It was quiet. Boring and there was no food anywhere. The woman had been wandering around in search of something to sate her appetite with. I thad been merely a few hours. Though she was an impatient one. Most prey these days bored her. She needed good game. Something that would sate her as she would pick up a nearby rabbit that had failed to evade her and crush it. Playing with the would be flesh puppet before fangs would appear and soon it was as if there wasn't one at all anymore. Only a tiny puddle of blood being the remanent of it as she would hear it splash down.

See?This was boring. She wanted the thrill of the hunt for once. To actually be challenged by her prey. Her previous self was simply the start of her career. Though that one was a shoo in. To fail that would have been terrible.

The area she had stumbled upon however felt quiet. She barely heard of anyone there,Almost no movement. Was it devoid of people? She would begin to smell around for a living thing. And begin to find the scent of smoke. Smoke often mean't something. Or someone at the least right? The woman would emit a faint pulse that would spread out. Telling her of the objects around her that at the tip would relay back a presence of two persons when it came back.

Food.

Was the one thought that came into her mind as her wings would spread. Two bat like ones that would manifest as she would begin to glide. Focusing intently on the signal and it's surroundings. There was potential prey out there. She couldn't afford to make a single mistake getting too it now. All of her senses were on point. As she would Descend downwards. Towards the presence she had detected. Taking in that she was around a remotely rocky area as felt by the Solid surfaces and the gravel and tiny movement she heard when her wings flapped locally. Her Echolocation would be on the trigger as well. Feeling the infrastructure or atleast rather noticable structures that were here too.She could feel the two in front of her. The area around her would begin to radiate an Ominous Intent. This was clearly a Hostile. Though she would not react whatsoever until the Presence did. She was a hunter yes, But she did not like it when it was simply Run and get a free meal. She only hunted for the thrill.

Her Body would emit a foreboding and callous voice as she spoke for once. She wasn't a big fan of talking. However she wanted to entertain herself with this no?

The silvernette didn't stop her descent even with the question, instead just raising an eyebrow and looking upwards, then shrugging and continuing down the stairs, jumping off a few meters off the ground to land safely, her hands in her pockets. She didn't bother looking behind her and instead simply walked inside the building, virtually uncaring about what just happened. Or so it appeared.

What. What was this?The shadow was shocked that the woman had brushed off her question like it was nothing and began to walk away. It was angry...Though it had a internal feeling the woman was plotting something. No way nobody would just walk away like that.

Instinctivley the shadow would erupt a large shadowy mist in a area around itself of about 30 meters in a dome nearly. Enveloping almost the entire area with its Mist.The Darkness mist would force anything in the area of it to be seeing nothing but basically Pitch black almost. Hindering the sight greatly of anything that was inside of it.

In Sucession.The shadow would go down to the ground.It's incredibly Lucid ability to sense the earth kicking in as it would Aim a lethal barrage of spikes to Extend in the radius of where the girl was walking. A Grand Impalement nearly of about...8 Meters around where the girl was standing. Spikes Would litter from underneath in quick succession.Though Not instantly. Should the girl have no way of countering or moving away from this.This would be a very serious blow.

Pitch black? Not a problem. The darkness was illuminated almost instantly as another figure silently closed its eyes, eight swords appearing around the Shadow, one directly underneath, one above, while the other six were positioned just like the points on a six-sided star around her. The light of the blades illuminated Rita's vision, and to the Shadow, she'd only hear one step before the User disappeared off her vision completely, though the air above would be restless with flaps, moving quickly, nearly a small car's speed, circling her, watching her from quite a few meters away, it would be uncertain, as the air moved irregularly. Whatever was up there certainly wasn't coming down, but apparently, the woman disappeared from the blind Shadow's radar in a flash, as no physical being was on the ground at the moment of her landing.

Should the Shadow even twitch, the swords put up against her (which felt increasingly real the more she tried to focus on them) would immediately shoot at her, catching her from all sides. Each sword was large, easily being five meters in length, and while there was a gap between the top and bottom ones, the latter of which only showing its tip under the ground while the former just seemed to stay put, rotating on itself, the other six swords kept spinning around her slowly, leaving nearly no space to escape with how tightly they were pressing against each other, almost as if they were layered on themselves...

What was this?The shadow would begin to hear and then Lucidly sense Flames forming around and One very particular Condensation of fire underneath it...Shit this wasn't good. Had it not acted now. The Shadow would find itself burnt and fail in it's task to sate it's hunger. A Hunter never lets their prey get the best of them!

It would think as The earth around it would Converge around its Body. What was this?Should the girl The shadow was hunting be looking directly at it. It would appear as if the shadow was being Mummified in earth,Nearly being Immobile. Underneath the rocky surface enveloping it. something far different was going on.

As the earth that had enveloped the shadow would Violently Launch in all directions,Including the ground below it. Hard Stone launching off the Shadows body Directly Hitting all the flaming swords Or anything Remotely near/pointed at it in a general radius of 10 meters around the shadow. While due to the Tier/Raw Power of the skilL.Causing an incidental crater to form around the shadow. This attack would Serve to eliminate all Close Proximity threats or in this case Large...Flaming whatever that it could tell were near it.
