| There was only a matter of time before this occurred he supposed. Work that is. He had been pretty good about not doing anything outside of observing for a day and half, but now. Now he would actually begin to work and stop lollygagging like everyone else. It wasn’t that he was trying to be disrespectful or anything to the holidays, it was just... well. He honestly just wanted to see how well a small bot of his worked outside of a home environment. It took care of a house really well, but could it take care of a city and people?
That was the ultimate question to be answered, but for now how did it withstand the outside environment. With festivities going on back home, Dr. Fang took the small bot to Parangelia instead. The reason being there had been rain over there, making for an even more interesting terrain to test the bot in.
Puddles and moisture. Could the little bot handle that?
Dr. Fang found a quiet spot and pulled a small box out of one of his pocket. Placing it on the ground, he watched the box unfold to become a small spider like creature. As the small red eyes looked around the area, the small machine scuttled a few steps forward pausing as it came to a crack in the ground. It would begin to click and tick as it examined the crack taking data on it before moving onto a rock and finally a puddle.
Aha. Here we go.
Fang would take a small notebook from another pocket along with a pen to begin adding new data on this small work bot as he observed its actions in its new environment. | |

| Dragoon sighed patrolling the streets of Parangelia they were empty as ever, and that was until he saw what looked to be a small spider like thing he tilted his head at it refusing to move in case it might be dangerous so he slowly side stepped the little spider machine thing. Dragoon then continued on his way until he saw a someone who he was sure was a scientist it would be more polite to walk past the man doing his test. The man would stop Dragoon if he needed him he took a deep drag of his cigar. Dragoon sighed as he stopped walking seeing a bench he sat down to take a rest. Dragoon took out a coin and started flipping it to waste time , he needed this rest since he was patrolling for quite a while. Dragoon took a deep and long drag of his cigar swirling it in his mouth for a long while before blowing it out of his nose like a Dragon, then he readjusted his fitted gloves and took another drag of his cigar. Dragoon continued to flip his coin and smoke his cigar without a care in the world this was relaxing him after the stressful day of not finding any Mercenary work this was a pain. | |

| The little bot would raises itself up lightly to look at the puddle as it observed its reflection. Then quite curiously, it would lift a thin leg and tap the water before jumping back when it made light splashing noise. The little spider would stay away from the water for a bit longer, watching it before approaching it again, this time taking measurements of the size of the puddle. Was it actually going to try and clean that puddle up?
Fang was in the middle of writing a note about this when he took note that someone had come into the area. Giving the other a brief glance, Fang would summarize that he had another solider type on his hand; however, unlike the one he met the day before this one seemed more laid back than before and he seemed to understand where the line was when it came to idle chat and research. A plus that Fang noted in the back of his mind before turning his attention back to the bot.
The bot on the other hand examined the water for a bit longer before scuttling off to something damp that had been left on the ground when the guy had passed by. Examining it for a bit, the little bot would focus on the spot before pulling out the smallest of vacuums to clean the area. When it was done the strange substance was gone. What on earth had it picked up and why?
Fang was pondering this when the bot swiveled and found more of the stuff a little further away. Examining it, it would clean the mess up before scuttling some more to find more of the substance. As Fang watched, the bot would move closer and closer to the man that had taken a seat on the bench until finally with a happy click it finished its job, but stayed around the man and the bench. From there the bot would go under the bench to examine the ground.
It took a moment, but eventually Fang’s eyes would drift up the man. He was smoking a cigar. Was it the ash from the cigar that the little bot had picked up? Huh. Then what if? Fang would tilt his head at the other as he took on a more formal form.
“Excuse sir. Would mind lending your cigar to a brief test?” he would ask his tone calm and professional, an intellect at work. If the other agreed to participate he would be directed to toss his cigar to the ground. A strange request, no?

| Dragoon sighed taking the cigar out of his mouth, with a pained look in his eyes throwing the unfinished cigar on the ground. "Well that was painful" Dragoon muttered under his breath as he stopped flipping his coin pocketing it. Dragoon watched in interest wondering what the little Spider Contraption would do. Dragoon resisted the urge to smoke another cigar until this little experiment was completed. Dragoon decided to not move a muscle either in case it messed up the mans experiment. Dragoon stayed still breathing very lightly from years of experience as a mercenary and doing stake outs. Dragoon was now waiting for the outcome then zoned out his mind until something interesting happens, he continued to remain. All Dragoon wanted to truly know if this was worth wasting a perfectly unfinished cigar, and then remained still. | |

| It seemed like it pained the other to part with his cigar; however, he complied anyway and tossed it on the ground. As soon as he did, the little bot that had been cleaning up a cobweb under the bench, shuttered as it swiveled on its little legs and came to directly to the cigar. With precision, the little creature sized up the cigar before using a small claw to pick it up. From there the bot would wrap itself around the cigar forming itself into a small ball before rolling back towards the doctor. It was full.
Closing the notebook he had, Fang pocketed the book before reaching down to pick up the bot that still held onto the materials it had cleaned up. Holding it carefully between his index finger and thump he showed the bot to the other with a small smile.
“I thank you for participating in the research for cleaner bots for the city. While I don’t have anything on me now to repay you, I can certainly make up for the sacrifice of your cigar, Mr…” Fang would begin trailing off at the end to leave it open for a name if the other wished to give it. It seemed the small part of participating made it easier for Fang to interact with the guy he was unsure of before.
